Abstract

Consideration of the language in the universal and nationally specific aspects as one of the tasks of modern linguistics. Zoonyms in the paremias of the Russian and Uzbek languages are an original linguistic layer that reveals the specifics of the worldview of culture carriers. Any language, going through the regular stages of its development over hundreds and thousands of years, invariably becomes overgrown with inclusions that came into it from other dialects. Naturally, this happened with the Uzbek language, whose speakers lived at the intersection of many civilizations, contacted and continue to interact with representatives of hundreds of languages and dozens of language groups.

Abstract

Guidance and Counselling Programme is one of the educational programme that higher institutions are offering in Nigeria. Guidance and Counselling Programme is vital to the development of a stable society. Guidance and Counselling Programme is facing many problems in the Nigerian higher institutions. This paper looks at the administrative problems facing the administration of Guidance and Counselling Programme in the Nigerian higher institutions. The writers, used secondary data to support the various points raised in the paper. The secondary data were sourced from both print and online resources. The paper identified inadequate funding, inadequate lecturers, inadequate infrastructural facilities, inadequate instructional materials, strake action, brain-drain and poor research as the problems facing the administration of guidance and counselling programme in the Nigerian higher institutions. To address, these problems, the following recommended: increasing the funding of Guidance and Counselling Programme, employment of more lecturers in Guidance and Counselling departments, provision of more infrastructural facilities, instructional materials, motivation of Guidance and Counselling Programme lecturers and implementation of agreement with unions groups

Abstract

Corruption in Nigeria is a hydra-headed and multi-facet problem that ramifies every sector of our national life and the education sector has not being innocent. Corruption have penetrated the Nigerian education system including the Basic education administration. This article discussed the effect of corruption on Basic education administration in Nigeria. Secondary data were used to support the points raised in the article. The secondary data were sourced from print material and online publication by recognized institutions and individual authors. This paper identified; shortage of funds, inadequate teachers, shortage of infrastructural facilities, poor quality of education, large out of school children, poor capacity development, poor implementation of Basic education policies and increase in the cost of Basic education administration as the effects of corruption on Basic education administration in Nigeria. To address these problems, the paper suggested that the government among other suggestion should establish anti-corruption units in the ministries and agencies of education to help check mate corrupt practices among staff and ensure regular auditing of commissions, agencies and ministries of education account could help check financial corruption within the system.

Abstract

The aim of the work is to improve the content and organizational and pedagogical foundations of the technology of working with gifted students. Gifted students with certain general and specific abilities are distinguished by the following qualities: curiosity, search for answers to various questions, developed speech; rapid development of memory; early interest in science; a high level of cognitive activity and educational activity; purposefulness and originality in problem solving; development of thinking. As a result of the rapid development of informatization of education and the development of human capital, talent is not presented in the form of a triad: intellectual abilities, aspiration, creativity, but in the form of a sixtet - intellectual abilities aspiration, creativity, communication, autopsychological abilities, competence.
