Abstract

The circuit netlist, logic locking mode, is an obfuscation method used to protect outsourced chip designs. Logic locking has been demonstrated to be broken via Boolean Satisfiability-based attacks, which has spurred researchers to create more robust defenses. The development of SAT attack marked a turning point in research on logic locking. Software systems frequently update their huge executable code, so obfuscating the program for each small update results in a significant loss of efficiency. In order to provide security guarantees against synthesis-driven assaults, this study provides a transformation strategy. Its Random Technique introduces a novel fault injection attack to undermine any locking mechanism that depends on a saved private key. This made it possible to compare the obfuscated circuit to its source, to determine whether a sufficient structural change has been made to support its functionality. The RT created an attack strategy to discover the value of the private key, K*. It examines the SFLL's security and offered a solution to determine the hamming distance, "h," using one or more SAT queries. It proposes an effective bit-flipping attack using the irregularity between the protected input patterns and the private key. By flipping bits, the attack cracks the private key, K*, with (n-1) queries. The outcome demonstrates that, given a protected input pattern, the right key may be quickly discovered by bit-flipping.

Abstract

It probably comes as no surprise, but bullying has been linked to an enormous amount of developmental issues in children – both in those who have been bullied and those who have bullied others. In fact, according to the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), bullying has a lifelong impact on the social and emotional development of children that puts them at risk for everything from severe mental health issues to stunted professional growth later in life. According to the NICHD, children who are involved in bullying experiences (on either side of the situation) are at an increased risk of developing issues such as: Depression and anxiety Low self-esteem and personal drive Trouble focusing and falling grades Behavioral problems Social and relationship issues Substance abuse later in life Self-harming behaviors Bullying can also affect other children who witness the acts – even if they aren’t directly involved – by leaving them feeling insecure in their environments and fearing they could be next. The long-term effects of bullying go well beyond the initial instances and the people at the center of it and can often stay with a person for the remainder of their life. Since bullying can essentially destroy a child’s self-esteem, it can manifest itself in ways that will jeopardize future opportunities for years to come.

Abstract

Transport of overburden and mineral raw materials in surface mining is one of the most complex and costly processes today. Good transport roads are essential for successful transportation by trucks in open pit mines. Poor design, and maintenance of the roads has the greatest impact on the high transport costs and possible risks in terms of security. Numerical modeling was performed to analyze the effects of the properties of the built-in materials used in the construction of roads, the thickness of the layers and the interaction of tires with the road surface. The distribution of stress and strain determined in the construction of a road depends on the characteristics of the road and the structure and mass of the truck. For this reason, numerical modeling and computer simulation is considered a very suitable method in the design of roads, because in a short period of time and at a lower cost calculations for the construction of a large number of models can be implemented and the best model available will be chosen. The most favorable construction will be considered to be the one that will, at minimum construction costs and with low costs of maintenance, enable the efficient use of transport equipment for a longer period of exploitation.

Abstract

Completion of homework is a crucial learning process. Though it often takes place as an after-school activity, it presents multiple challenges for many students, especially for those who have got low level knowledge and lack of autonomous skills. In my exploratory action research I tried to explore the reasons of why do some of my teenage students at the academic lyceum come to the lessons without completing the homework. The data was collected from 24 students of both specialized and non-specialized groups in English, using quantitative and qualitative research. The findings show that, the reasons varied in those two groups. Accordingly, I implemented some changes in order to help my students to deal with those challenges and manage their homework more responsibly. My study offers new practical ways of motivating students in completion of their homework regularly.

Abstract

During the past few years, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) became one of the most investigated and explored nanotechnology-derived nanostructures, given the fact that nanosilver-based materials proved to have interesting, challenging, and promising characteristics suitable for various biomedical applications. Among modern biomedical potential of AgNPs, tremendous interest is oriented toward the therapeutically enhanced personalized healthcare practice. AgNPs proved to have genuine features and impressive potential for the development of novel antimicrobial agents, drug-delivery formulations, detection and diagnosis platforms, biomaterial and medical device coatings, tissue restoration and regeneration materials, complex healthcare condition strategies, and performance-enhanced therapeutic alternatives. Given the impressive biomedical-related potential applications of AgNPs, impressive efforts were undertaken on understanding the intricate mechanisms of their biological interactions and possible toxic effects. Within this review, we focused on the latest data regarding the biomedical use of AgNP-based nanostructures, including aspects related to their potential toxicity, unique physiochemical properties, and biofunctional behaviors, discussing herein the intrinsic anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal activities of silver-based nanostructures.
