Abstract

The aim of this research is to execute instrument validation for the items of product development and commercialization (PDC)through exploratory factor analysis (EFA). The data collection tool employed is questionnaires which was administrated to employees in the manufacturing companies in Nigeria. 100 questionnaires were gathered to do the EFA. The results show that the Bartletts’ Test of Sphericity is significant (P-Value < 0.05), Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) is excellent as it exceeds the require value of 0.6 .These two results (Bartlett’s Test is significant and KMO > 0.6) indicate that the data is adequate in size.. The Cronbach’s Alpha test was higher than 0.7 for the all items of the constructs, this suggest that these items are all reliable. This research add to the domain of supply chain management by assessing the items of the construct of product development and commercialization (PDC) that could improve performances in manufacturing organizations in the context of Nigeria.

Abstract

Iraq possesses an oil-dominated economy, relying on over 90% of its government revenue from petroleum exports. Such reliance creates situations where extreme shifts in international oil rates lead to huge budgetary shortages, increased inflation and economic meltdowns for the economy. Iraq requires a sustainable fiscal policy to reduce its dependence on oil, to ensure long-term macro-economic stability and diversification among other sectors. The article reviews pivotal policy measures: taxation, public sector streamlining; and private sector establishment. Through improved tax collection mechanisms, a greater investment in a solid infrastructure and a global business-friendly climate, Iraq will increase non-oil revenues and encourage industrial and agricultural expansion. In addition, governance reforms along with transparency measures will be necessary to provide effective public spending and reduce corruption. It also examines practical fiscal diversification approaches undertaken by other resource-rich countries, and offers customized policy prescriptions based on Iraq's unique economic and political realities. If correctly implemented, these policies could help Iraq progress toward an economy that is more resilient, diversified, and sustainable; one that would be less susceptible to external shocks and maintain prosperity in the medium to longer term.

Abstract

Women in Montserrado face structural barriers that limit the translation of CBO training into income, asset control, and household decision-making, and existing evaluations rarely identify ineffective interventions. This study assessed the impact of CBO education interventions on women’s economic empowerment using the Capability Approach and a mixed-methods convergent parallel design. It targeted a total of 42,990 women comprised of the beneficiaries of the program. The sample borrowed Kothari’s formulae in arriving at 384. This sample was distributed proportionally across five districts. Out of the 384 who were initially targeted, 310 returned the questionnaires duly filled. The analysis first took a quantitative angle; this entailed the use of descriptive analysis as well as correlations and cross-tabulations coupled with ANOVA and multiple regressions. On the other hand, qualitative analysis was also done. This involved the data that was collected in terms of interviews, FGDs. This data was paraded thematically and analyzed. Results from the cross tabulation revealed that women received marginal gains in formal education (25% vs 11.8%), digital literacy (25% vs 8.3%), and vocational training (21.1% vs 11.1%), with inconsistent informal education effects (14%). Correlations were weak (r = –0.10 to 0.07), regressions showed negligible predictive effects (digital literacy β = –0.144, informal education β = –0.091), and ANOVA results were non-significant (F = 0.98–1.72, p > 0.16). Qualitative insights highlighted persistent constraints, including limited capital, market access, household barriers, and poor infrastructure. The results of the study indicated that education through CBO alone is not enough to bring about significant economic empowerment unless it is accompanied by economic and social support.

Abstract

The way artificial intelligence (AI) is being integrated into our digital and cyber-physical systems is truly reshaping how organisations operate across sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, energy, transportation, and smart cities. This change is not just about improving efficiency; it’s about making more intelligent decisions, being more adaptable, and delivering innovative services. AI systems enable us to blend human skills with intelligent automation, helping optimise resources, manage risks, and streamline workflows. However, the rise of AI also brings challenges. We have to navigate ethical dilemmas, protect data privacy, address algorithmic bias, and manage the complexities that come with these technologies. To tackle these issues, it’s crucial to have governance frameworks in place that emphasise transparency, accountability, fairness, and appropriate human oversight. Successful AI implementations often come down to teamwork, focusing on the users' needs, gradually integrating new systems, and effectively managing change. On the flip side, projects can stumble when there’s a lack of alignment, weak data governance, or resistance to cultural change.

Abstract

The development and strategic significance of an integrated Dashboard Architecture that links Financial Reporting, Management Information Systems (MIS), and early warning metrics related to Liquidity and Market Risk. This framework serves as a comprehensive analytical platform that consolidates financial, operational, and risk data within a real-time interactive environment. The primary objective is to enhance decision-making, improve transparency, and ensure regulatory compliance amidst a rapidly evolving economic landscape. The architecture is designed with a user-centered approach, featuring sophisticated data visualization and advanced analytics that utilize artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to transform complex datasets into meaningful insights. By integrating operational, tactical, analytical, and strategic dashboards, the system guarantees that financial reporting aligns with organizational objectives while facilitating the predictive monitoring of liquidity and market risks. The discourse presents real-world applications within financial institutions, highlighting measurable improvements in reporting efficiency, liquidity forecasting, and compliance tracking. Additionally, it evaluates the role of Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks, alongside contemporary Business Intelligence (BI) practices, in enhancing the scalability and sustainability of this architecture. Furthermore, the study identifies emerging trends, such as real-time analytics and AI-enhanced early warning systems, as well as pertinent ethical concerns related to data protection and fairness in automated analysis. Ultimately, the integration of such dashboards signifies a substantial advancement in financial governance, enabling institutions to strengthen their resilience, improve performance, and foster a risk-aware culture that supports informed and proactive decision-making in today's digital financial ecosystem.

Abstract

The study seeks to clarify the construct of capital system, its major determinants as well as internal and external finance sources to examine its connection with the profitability in Islamic banking. The study is based on a number of samples which consist of Kurdistan International Islamic Bank for investment and development and the relative Iraqi Bank for Investment and development during the projected period of (2014 -2020). Financial analysis apparatuses were deployed to assess the capital composition through ratios of equity-to-assets, loans and liabilities and deposits-to-liabilities in addition to profitable indicators (ROA, ROE, ROI) which obtained the financial statements. The findings strikingly exhibited that the capital structure is dependent on balancing return risk and a sole reliance on short-term liquidation in comparison with long-term financing which leads to limited profitability as a result of higher cost. Thes study consequently suggests the need for the adoption of effective approach to diversify the capital sources between equity and debt to realize optimum motive that reduces cost and enhances returns. The banks should be careful in implementing their financial projects that have direct impact on return, profitability, liquidity and risk management.
