Abstract

UMKM (Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah) play a significant role in the economy but often face challenges in marketing their products broadly. Marketing is a crucial aspect in the development of UMKM, especially in today's digital era. However, many UMKM still encounter obstacles in reaching a wider market due to limitations in traditional marketing methods. Toko A’saul, an UMKM business, uses a website-based information system for marketing its products, which effectively enhances its marketing reach and product competitiveness. Website-based marketing positively impacts the increase in sales and market reach of UMKM. Additionally, this system enables UMKM to better compete with larger businesses in the digital market. Through the implementation of a website-based marketing platform, UMKM are expected to maximize their potential in attracting new customers, expanding market share, and improving overall business performance. Moreover, this platform enhances customer satisfaction by offering a better shopping experience and more responsive services.

Abstract

Indonesian culture is rich with traditional houses spread across the archip elago, serving not only as physical structures but also as symbols of history and cultural identity. Each traditional house has unique characteristics that reflect local wisdom and traditional life. However, modernization and urbanization threaten the continuity of many traditional houses, compounded by the lack of public appreciation for traditional cultural values. An innovative approach is needed to address these challenges, one of which is leveraging augmented reality (AR) technology. AR allows users to interact with virtual objects in the real world through electronic devices such as smartphones. AR technology, using Surface Tracking and visual inertial odometry (VIO), can be used to introduce and preserve traditional houses. This study, titled "Introduction to Traditional Houses Based on Augmented Reality Using Unity 3D on the Android Platform," employs the Extreme Programming (XP) method. XP is suitable for small teams that require rapid adaptation to changes, aiming to create high-quality software and enhance productivity.

Abstract

The results of making and testing hand washing and drying equipment are technological changes and improvements that are useful in everyday life and can even reduce the spread or transmission of viruses. When using hand washing and hand drying equipment, you no longer need to hold/press/squeeze the equipment, you only need to bring your hand closer to the equipment, you can clean your hands in a short time and it is also more practical.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has transformed work methods and data management, especially among Gen Z. UMKM L3 Adventure, which rents out camping equipment, still uses manual processes for booking and data management. The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the need for adopting an online booking system to reduce physical contact and enhance operational efficiency. This research aims to develop a web-based information system for L3 Adventure, focusing on designing an efficient and accessible online camping equipment booking system. A qualitative and quantitative approach was used, with structured surveys conducted at L3 Adventure in Sukodono, Sidoarjo. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and relevant literature. The research findings indicate that the web-based system improves data management and booking efficiency. The system employs a waterfall design model and was tested using the blackbox method to ensure its functionality. This study contributes to the development of outdoor equipment rental information systems, aiming to enhance efficiency and user experience at L3 Adventure.

Abstract

A few years ago, during the pandemic, people tended to experience high levels of stress because they considered the coronavirus to be a dangerous virus, resulting in psychological impacts in the form of fear, anxiety, and stress. To reduce stress due to the pandemic, people work around it by playing games. So with this, the author wants to make a game with the Adventure genre is a good solution in relieving stress during the pandemic, besides that adventure games are games that are easy to understand by all people, from children to adults. Besides relieving stress, Adventure games can train patience and decision-making.

Abstract

In today's financial market, precise prediction of stock prices is a daunting but critical task. This study provides a detailed description of an advanced LSTM model designed for stock price prediction where the author emphasizes the novel macro features created as well as the hyperparameter tuning performed to achieve the goal of this project. Using a dataset of 600 daily stock prices, the author performed Min-Max normalization and split the dataset into 80% training and 20% testing data for analysis. For 40 epochs, the LSTM model, which contains a single layer of 50 hidden units, was trained using the Adam optimizer and the Mean Squared Error (MSE) was defined as the loss function. The resulting Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) of 2.85, Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 2.35, and 0.945 of the R² values achieved in the testing dataset surpasses previously published LSTM approaches. The prediction error distributions, the scatter graphs, as well as loss training and validation plots, and most importantly the MAE and RMSE attest the model's efficient performance and convergence. The overall results support the author’s claim that the model designed provides more utility for financial forecasting. Emphasis on novel feature creation provides a more solid foundation for time series forecasting. New projects may benefit from the use of attention mechanisms, multi-source datasets, and transfer learning which will improve model predictability and generalization capability.

Abstract

The article considers and analyzes the views of leading foreign scientists on the problem of meta-subjectivity within the framework of a competency-based approach to education. Regardless of the scope of implementation, the article is devoted to the problem of developing a competency-based approach to education in the context of expanding the types of competences when considering meta-competence beyond the subject as a methodological approach to search activities. The relevance of the formation of methods of metacognitive activity in the topic is determined by the new conditions of modern human life, which are characterized by high dynamics, lead to uncertainty, unpredictable situations and require continuous effective self-education. The categories of meta-objectivity are identified and the author's definitions of the concepts of meta-competence and meta-competence are proposed.

Abstract

This study presents a comprehensive approach to determining the optimal longitudinal spacing between the lower deep-loosening shanks and the upper working tools of two-tier chisel-type plows. By integrating soil deformation modeling, traction resistance optimization, and both analytical and graphical methods, the research highlights the importance of proper spacing in enhancing soil loosening efficiency. The results show that optimizing this spacing improves soil aeration, reduces traction resistance, and minimizes tool wear, while maintaining soil structure. The study provides analytical formulas and practical engineering guidelines that are essential for the design and calibration of plows used in deep tillage. These guidelines ensure the effective improvement of soil properties and promote energy-efficient operation, making the plows more suitable for sustainable agricultural practices.
