Abstract

The purpose?s of research are: 1) to investigate the implementation of the credit points system by the SDU in improving student?s discipline attitude at SMAN 2 Ngawi; 2) to know the impact of the system credit point?s implementation by the SDU about the student?s discipline attitude in SMAN 2 Ngawi.This research used a qualitative approach with descriptive research form. The source of data  that  be used consist of: informants, observation sheet  and document analysis sheet. The sampling technique  that be used was aims samples (purposive sampling). The technique of collecting data through interview, observation and documentation. The validity of the data by using a triangulation of data or sources. The data analysis technique  that be used was interactive analysis model which consists of four major components, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion.The results indicated that the implementation of the credit points system by SDU was  implemented through three programs: 1) keeping the gate operation was carried out every day at 6:00 am to 7:00 am except during mid semester or semester test, 2) class raid is conducted between the two times up to four times a month, 3) operation before the flag ceremony every Monday. There are form of attitude that  be showed  by the students of SMAN 2 Ngawi had been embedded discipline character include: 1) most of students don?t come late to school, 2) most of students complete the attributes and school uniforms; 3) following the school teaching , did not make some noises during school hours , no ditching, 4) always follow the flag ceremony except during illness; 5) did not carry unnecessary items to school, 6) did not streak benches and walls; 7) keeping the school cleaning.

Abstract

The objectivs of the study were to explain and describe: (1) the citizens? participation in conserving kars area in the effort to realize environment-insight development, (2) the obstacles of the citizens? participation in conserving kars area in the effort to realize environment-insight development, and (3) the government?s efforts to realize enviroment-insight development. This is a descriptive qualitative study. The strategy applied in the study was two-rooted strategy. The data were collected from informants, incidents or activities, and documents.  The sample was taken through purposive sampling. The techniques used to collect and compile the data were interview, observation, and document analysis. The researcher used method and data triangulation to get valid data, while the data analysis were done by using interactive model The procedure of the study was: (1) conducting pre-research, (2) conducting the research, (3) doing field analysis, and (4) composing report of the study. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that: (1) the citizens? participation in conserving the kars area to realize environment-insight development is not ideal yet, since their participation is merely in third steps typology its informing and tokenism category of eight levels Arnstein participation, (2) the citizens? participation in conserving the kars area to realize environment-insight development is hindered by the lack of citizens? awareness toward environment, and their low education as well as knowledge, their employment and aernings, and the strong influence of their culture, and (3) the government?s efforts to increase the citizens? participation in conserving the kars area in the effort to realize environment-insight development are through socializing the program and determining the kars landscape

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to: (1). know teachers understanding and ability to perform as well as selecting an assessment tool Pancasila and Citizenship Education in the cognitive and affective aspects, (2). know any constraints experienced teachers in assessing student learning outcomes in subjects Pancasila and Citizenship Education on the cognitive and affective aspects, and (3). determine impact experienced by teachers in assessing learning outcomes in subjects Pancasila and Citizenship Education on the cognitive and affective aspects. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research strategy is a single strategy rooted. The data source is the informant, events or activities and documents. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation and document analysis. Researchers used a triangulation of data and methods. Data analysis techniques using an interactive model. Research procedure: preparation, data collection, data analysis, and preparation of research reports.Based on these results it can be concluded: (1). Pancasila and Citizenship Education learning outcomes assessment performed by Junior High School Civics teacher 15 Surakarta was appropriate but not maximized, because the matter has not been developed into various forms of matter. (2). Constraints faced Pancasila and Citizenship Education teachers in assessing student learning outcomes in the cognitive aspects in the implementation of daily tests can not be done entirely in accordance with the time schedule or because of the time that has been prepared absorbed in learning activities. Constraints faced Pancasila and Citizenship Education teachers in assessing student learning outcomes in the affective aspect is that the check list does not directly provide the value or score. (3). The positive impact of the use of tests in the cognitive assessment was not too difficult for the teacher arranged the matter. However, there is a negative impact, among others: (a) very limited test sample (b) are highly subjective (c) the test is usually less reliable. The use of non-test assessment tool to positively impact the affective aspect to know the talents and interests of learners. The negative impact of the use of the test is a check list of affective indirect giving a score or value because of its reliability is questionable.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate the effect of the tolerance attitude on the implementation of the values of Pancasila in Rukun Warga IV of Wonokarto village of Wonogiri regency. The results of this research are as follows: (1) there is a positive and significant effect of the tolerance attitude of the people of Rukun Warga IV of Wonokarto village of Wonogiri subdistrict of Wonogiri regency as indicated by the value of rcount which is greater than that of rtable (0.416 > 0.312); and (2) the contribution of the tolerance attitude as the independent variable to the implementation of the values of Pancasila as the dependent variable is as much as 17.31% whereas the rest 82.69% is affected by the other factors. Based on the results of this research, a conclusion is drawn that there is an effect of the tolerance attitude of the people of Rukun Warga IV of Wonokarto village of Wonogiri regency on the implementation of the values of Pancasila.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out: (1) City Council of Surakarta performance in arranging Local Regulation No. 3 in the year of 2010 about rubbish management which has not been able to represent people importance can be seen from the content of Clause 36 about prohibition and Clause 46 about Criminal Provision, (2) implementation of the content of Clause 36 about prohibition and Clause 46 about Criminal Provision of the Local Regulation No. 3 in the year of 2010 about Rubbish Management toward people importance.This research used qualitative research with study case method. Research strategy used in this research is single established strategy. Data sources are an informant, place and phenomenon, archive and document. The writer took the sample using purposive sampling. Techniques collecting the data used are interview, observation and document analysis. The writer uses triangulation data and method.  The analysis data uses interactive model such as data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusion and verification. Research procedures are preparation, data collection, data analysis, research report arrangement.Based on this research, it can be concluded that: (1) City Council of  Surakarta performance in arranging Local Regulation has not been able to represent people. (2) Impact of the content of Clause 36 and Clause 46 in the Local Regulation toward people importance is there will be people restlessness, people impoverishment, and for City Council Surakarta members, it can make people reduce the trust to them and also can make moral condemnation from the people.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a positif and significant relationship between the level of public education with public awareness in rural development (the study of correlations in the Village District Temuwangi Pedan Klaten year 2009/2010).This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The population is all citizens in the years 2009-2010 Village Temuwangi aged 20-49 years, some 1468 souls. Samples were taken by cluster random sampling of some 147 souls. Variable data collection techniques and variable levels of public education awareness in rural development using a questionnaire. Technical analysis of the data used is the product moment correlation analysis to test the normality test requirements analysis, test and linearity test with a significance level of independent research by 5%.Based on the research results can be concluded that positif and significant relationship between the level of public education with public awareness in rural development (the study of correlations in the Village District Temuwangi Pedan Klaten years 2009-2010) as evidenced by rxy >rtabel  or 0.1789> 0.176. Then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted.

Abstract

Citizenship education comes not only include learning experiences in school but also includes learning experiences outside of school or non-formal education / informal. Macapat culture is a means and source of the experiences in the community as an accompanist impact of learning in schools, especially related values. Because Macapat has great value to be developed as civic education rooted in the values education as the essence of civic education to create good citizens and intelligent. Macapat teach human values such as mutual cooperation, tolerance and other civic education as an interdisciplinary approach based on humanities or humanity. Civic education is a vehicle in the formation of character that contribute to education that aims to achieve the formation of the desired character of a citizen of Indonesia or expected by the corresponding values of the noble culture of Indonesia based on Pancasila.

Abstract

Considering the data analysis, it could be obtained the rstatistic value = 0.319 and at significance level of 5% with db = n-2=72, because rstatistic > rtable (0.319>0.231), Ha was supported and H0 was not supported meaning that there was a positive effect, while the tstatistic value = 3.015 and significance level of 5% with db = n-2=72, ttable = 1.98, because rstatistic > rtable, Ha was supported and H0 was not supported meaning that there was a significant effect of X on Y variable. From the data analysis above, the hypothesis that ?There was a positive significant effect of industrialization on social value shift in Tegalrejo villagers variable, in Ceper Subdistrict, Klaten Regency in 2012? was supported. The contribution of X effect on Y was 10.2%. It meant that 10.2% social value shift in Tegalrejo villagers of Ceper Subdistrict of Klaten Regency in 2012 was affected by industrialization.Considering the information above, it could be concluded that there was a positive significant industrialization on social value shift in the Tegalrejo villagers of Ceper Subdistrict of Klaten Regency in 2012

Abstract

The objective of research is to find out the different of Value Clarification Technique and Consideration learning models on civic education learning achievement in affective aspect in the VII Graders of SMP Negeri 16 Surakarta in the School Year of 2011/2012 in basic competency of applying norms, habits, customs, and regulation prevailing in society, nation, and country life. This study was a quantitative research. The method used was an experimental method. The population of research was all VII graders of SMP Negeri 16 Surakarta in the School Year of 2011/2012, consisting of 160 students. The sample consisted of 56 students taken using a simple random sampling technique. Technique of collecting data used was attitudinal scale questionnaire. Technique of analyzing data used was a one-way anova analysis technique. Considering the result of research conducted, it could be concluded that there was a different of value clarification technique learning model from that of consideration learning model on civic education learning achievement in affective aspect in the VII Graders of SMP Negeri 16 Surakarta in the School Year of 2011/2012 in basic competency of applying norms, habits, customs, and regulation prevailing in society, nation, and country life. It could be seen from the result of calculation using one-way anova analysis technique indicating that the learning achievement of civic education in affective aspect obtained Fstatistic = 5.70 > Ftable = 4.02 at significance level of 5%.

Abstract

The objectives of research are to find out: 1) the function of BAPAS in conducting character education to the children committing stealing crime in Surakarta, and 2) the implication of character education in BAPAS to the stealing crime handling in Surakarta city.This study was a descriptive qualitative method. The research strategy used was a single embedded strategy. The data source was obtained from informant, event/activity and document. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Techniques of collecting data used to obtain and to organize the data of research were interview, observation as well as document analysis. To validate the data, the data triangulation was used. Meanwhile the technique of analyzing data used was an interactive model of analysis with the following steps: 1) Data collection, 2) Data reduction, 3) Data display, 4) Conclusion drawing/verification. The procedure of research included: 1) preparation, 2) data collection, 3) Data analysis, and 4) Research report writing stages.
