PENGEMBANGAN PORTAL E-LEARNING GEOGRAFI BERBASIS MOODLE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN NETWORKING DAN SPATIAL ABILITY PESERTA DIDIK DI SMA AL ISLAM 1 SURAKARTA TAHUN 2013/ 2014 Muhammad Tanwir 1*)Setya Nugraha2)Singgih Prihadi 2) 1) Mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan Geografi FKIP Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta2) Dosen Pendidikan Geografi FKIP Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta*) E-mail : maspk.glazens@gmail.com ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study were: 1) determine the development of E-Learning Portal Geography Moodle-based learning to enhance the ability of networking and spatial ability learners and 2) determine the effectiveness of the use of E-Learning Portal Geography in learning to improve networking capabilities and spatial ability learners.The researach method used in this research is a method of research and development (R & D). Subjects were media experts, materials experts, educators, and learners. The technique of sampling used is proportional random sampling and data collection instruments using sheet media expert validation, materials specialists, educators, trial questionnaires, observations, pre-test and post-test and documentation.The results of this study are portal-based e-Learning Geography Moodle to enhance the ability of networking and spatial abilities obtain good results and declared unfit for use. The effectiveness of the use of E-Learning Portal-based on Geography Moodle to improve Networking obtain good results measured from the increased active learners in the class of liveliness by 25% (+ 9) of the amount students increased to 58.3% (+ 20 people) and more effective than the use of E-Learning Portal-based Edmodo Geography active learners which improves 38.4% (+ 15 people). Effectiveness of E-Learning Portal-based on Geography Moodle to enhance the Spatial Ability based on Independent Sample T Test shows t arithmetic 5.376 and  t table  1.66 (5% significance level) so it is more effective to use in the learning process.Keywords: E-Learning, Moodle, Spatial Skills

Hesti Kusuma Nindriyani. 2013. THE RELATIONSHIP OF EDUCATION LEVEL AND LANDUSE WITH FARMER INCOME LEVEL IN SUBDISTRICT OF JUMANTONO, DISTRICT OF KARANGANYAR. Skripsi. Surakarta: Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Sebelas Maret University.Januari 2013. The aims of this research are to identify the relationship between (1). Education level and income level. (2). Landuse and income level. (3). Education level and landuse with level income. This research is using a correlational descriptive method. The population of research is all farmers in Subdistrict of Jumantono for about 18.786 people. The technique sampling is using proportional random sampling technique for about 165 people. The data collection technique of education level variable, landuse, and income level are using quisionaire and observation. The analyze technique is using correlation technique and double regretion analyzis. Based on the result of this research can be concluded that there is no relationship between formal education level and income level. (2) Landuse has not significant relationship with income level. (3) Education level and landuse have not significant relationship with income level.

Abstract

The objective of this research were (1) To find out the improvement of learning achievement in basic competency of describing living environment conservation in relation to sustainable development using STAD learning method. (2)To find out the improvement of the students? geography learning achievement in the basic competency of describing living environment conservation in relation to sustainable development using STAD learning method. This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research was conducted in two sicluss. Each siclus consisted of determining the problem focus, planning, acting, monitoring, analyzing and reflecting. The subject of research was the XI IPS 2 Graders of SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta, consisting of 30 students. The data source derived from learning process in the classroom, result of evaluation test in siclus I, result of evaluation test in second siclus, geography learning motivation questionnaire of siclus I, geography learning motivation questionnaire of second siclus, and secondary data. Technique of collecting data employed were observation, document study, geography learning achievement test, and geography learning motivation questionnaire. The procedure of research used was self-reflection spiral model. The result of research showed: (1) the learning using Student Teams Achievement Divisions method could improve the geography learning motivation in the basic competency of describing living environment conservation in relation to sustainable development in second siclus. (2) The learning using Student Teams Achievement Divisions could improve the geography learning achievement in the basic competency of describing living environment conservation in relation to sustainable development in second siclus. The validity of the data is measured using the techniques of triangulation : triangulation method and triangulation observer. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative data analysis techniques and quantitative data analysis techniques.The results of this research indicate that based on the observation sheet, the average percentages of the learning process achievement in the classroom of each aspect are : The teamwork in the first cycle is 61.33% and 81.33% in the second cycle. The interest and enthusiasm of students in the first cycle is 65.33% and 88% in the second cycle. The motivation of learners on the first cycle is 69.33% and 80% in the second cycle. The test result of students in the first cycle is 48.4% over the KKM, while in the second cycle it is 87.1% over the KKM.  Keyword: Project Based Learning, the quality of procees and learning outcomes, curriculum 2013.

Muh. Ario Bayu P. K5407033. SPATIAL ANALYSIS OF BASE TRANSCEIVER STATION (BTS) IN SURAKARTA 2012.Thesis, Surakarta:Teacher Training and Education Faculty. Sebelas Maret University. The objectives of research are: (1)To know the BTS spatial distribution pattern of Surakarta in 2012, (2) To know the signal?s range of BTS of Surakarta in 2012,(3)To know the characteristic of user mobile cellular phone on Surakarta 2012. The method used is a descriptive method.Population of this research is the all of BTS tower unit in Surakarta.The sampling technique used ofmobile cellular phone user was multistage random sampling obtaining 150 respondents were taken from different operators.The number of the each operator?s correspondents is based on the percentage of the number of BTS. This research is using primary data and secondary data. The interviews and questioners are the primary data since the documentation study for the secondary.The technique of data analysis are map analysis, nearest neighbour analysis and crossed-table analysis. This research conclude: (1)Spatial distribution of BTS tower of Surakarta in 2012 are majority located in Banjarsari, 67 units or 36,41% of the total number of BTS tower influenced by high population, wide area,and some important facilities which located in here. Most of BTS unit in Surakarta located in flat area. Distribution pattern of BTS in Surakarta is close to random with T=0,5989, (2)The signal range of BTS in Surakarta is about 1 kilometer per unit. It?s depicted from the signal range of BTS that available to cover all of Surakarta?s district, although we still can find blankspot area in several places. Considering the BTS distribution in Surakarta that close to each other and more over the existence of different BTS operator in one tower, we cab conclude that the main street and central of Surakarta became the most valuable area of celluler operator (3)The characteristic of the cell phone users in are majority graduated from senior high school with the age 15-24 year sold, income Rp 500.001,00 ? Rp 1.000.000,00 and profession of the cell phone users as private member. Beside those varieties, price of the service is still become the main consideration for people in choosing operator.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are (1) to know data distributions of geography mastery level on senior high school students based on national exam in Surakarta in 2010 ? 2012; (2) to know differences of geography mastery level on national exam in 2010 ? 2012 between state senior high school and private senior high school students, then between senior high school with specific accreditation category; (3) to know teacher problems on learning process on less geography mastery of senior high school students in Surakarta in 2010 ? 2012.            This study is a mixed methods research. The population in this study is all senior high school in Surakarta. Sampling technique is non random sampling or non sampling. Data collection technique were interviews and documentary studies. Technique of analysis in this study is descriptive statistic for quantitative data and analysis of Miles and Huberman Model for qualitative data.            Based on data analysis, the result of this study can be presented as follows : (1) Data distribution of geography mastery level on senior high school students in 2010 ? 2012 are 25% State Senior High School and 42% Private Senior High School have low geography mastery level. However, the level of geography mastery on senior high school students is increased. (2) Geography mastery level between state senior high school and private senior high school students, then between senior high school with accreditation A, B, and C category is increased. However, geography mastery level on state senior high school students better than private senior high school students. Whereas, geography mastery level on senior high school students with specific accreditation category can be concluded that there is no significant differences, because of good geography mastery level and low geography mastery level ratio is balanced in 2010 until 2012. (3) The problems learning caused the mastery lowly are low students competence, the learning process too monotonous, low students interest and motivation, lack the standard references ownership for teachers, teachers with recent graduates are slightly so that the majority of teachers have trouble to understanding the new material, low teachers activity in scholarly activities, absence of a laboratory for geography learning, and at least the role of government institutions in the standardized subjects implementation.Kata Kunci : Penguasaan/ daya serap, Pemetaan, Ujian Nasiona

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Research purpose : (1) knowing the characteristics of angkringan seller in Jaten Subdistrict in 2012, (2) knowing the income level viewed from the characteristics of angkringan sellers in Jaten Subdistrict in 2012. (3) getting to know the income level viewed from the characteristics of angkringan sellers in Jaten Subdistrict in 2012.This study uses qualitative method with spatial and descriptive analysis. The dependent variabel is the angkringan seller in Jaten Subdistrict in 2012. Meanwhile the independent variables are (1) the characteristics consisting of demography and social economy characteristics, (2) income level of the angkringan sellers. These variables are represented in the forms of table and map covering table and map of demography characteristics, social economy characteristics, and income level characteristics. The data are collected by the technique of observation, documentation, and interview. The data analysis technique covers characteristics analysis with primary data and interview, spatial analysis to find the spread. Based on the result, there are suggested that: 1) the angkringan sellers in mid level income follow the strategy that is used by the angkringan sellers in high level income, (2) the angkringan sellers are developed as appealing factor of culinary tour that can increase the territory income. (3)The angkringan seller are the man with age up 30years and the income higher distric income.Key worda : characteristic, income, angkringan seller.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Purpose of this research was (1) To know the landslide type in Karangsambung District, (2) To know distribution of  landslide hazard level in Karangsambung District, and (3) To know disaster mitigation is that done due landslide in Karangsambung District. This research used spatial description with survey method. The results show that (1) Landslide type in Karangsambung Subdistrict which consist of four types, those are falls, topples, slides, and flows. (2) The level of landslide hazard in Karangsambung subdistrict consist on two class of hazard and distribution as follows: (a) Class II is a high potency of landslide hazard whose large 3.290,92 hectares or 42,14 % and (b) Class III is enough high potency of landslide hazard whose large 4.518,22 hectares or 57,86 %. (3) Disaster mitigation landslide that done techniques and vegetatively by type of landslide include falls, topples, slides, and flows. Keywords: Landslide Hazard Level and Disaster Mitigation

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to : (1) Find out the influence of education toward land conservation understanding, (2) Find out the influence of income toward land conservation understanding, (3) Find out the influence of education toward farmers participation in land conservation, (4) Find out the influence of income toward farmers participation in land conservation, and (5) Find out the influence of land conservation understanding toward farmers participation in land conservation.  This research employs Correlational Survey method. The variables of this research are: education (X1), income (X2), land conservation understanding (X3), and farmers participation in land conservation (X4).  The population of this research are all farmers in Bulukerto Sub District. The sampling method used in this research are multistages and random sampling method. The data of this research were collected through interview and questionaires. The data were analyzed by applying statistical analysis of multiple linear regressive analysis and path analysis.The findings of this research are : (1) That there is significant direct influence between education and land conservation understanding, with amount of influential contribution of 7, 45 %. (2) That there is direct significant influence between income and land conservation understanding, with amount of influential contribution level of 7, 84 %. (3) That there is significant direct influence between education and farmers participation in land conservation, with amount of influential contribution of 7, 67 %. (4) That there is direct influence between income and farmers participation in land conservation with amount of influential contribution of 6, 2 %. (5) That there is significant direct influence between land cnservation understanding and farmers participation in land conservation, with amount of influential contribution of 10, 3 %. Path analysis also indicates that farmers education and income hold indirect influence through land conservation understanding toward farmers participation in land conservation in Bulukerto sub district.Key words       : Education, Income, Understanding, Participation, Land Conservation, Path   Analysis

The subjects of the study were the students of class X Science 2 SMA N 1 Karanganyar in the Academic Year 2013/2014, there are 35 students. The object of the research is the process and outcomes of learning geography on the material of human and environment interaction in dynamical atmosphere that is related to  the optimization of learning environment. The data were obtained through observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used was a critical and comparative descriptive analysis. The validity of the data used triangulation technique.The results showed that the application of the optimization of the environment as a learning resource to the scientific approach to the material of human and environment interactions in dynamical atmosphere can improve the process and outcomes of learning Geography. This can be seen in the implementation of the first cycle and second cycle. In the first cycle, the indicator of students learning mastery was 65.7% and it increased to 85.7% in the second cycle. Then the indicator of students learning process in the first cycle was 74.7% and it increased to 87.7% in the second cycle, the indicator liveliness and motivation of students in the first cycle of  66.9% increased to 80.4% in the second cycle.  Keywords: Process and Learning Outcomes, Learning Resources Environment, Scientific Approach
