Abstract

Stigma associated with infectious diseases presents a significant barrier to healthcare access, treatment adherence, and overall well-being. This study systematically examines the psychological, social, economic, and healthcare-related consequences of stigma, emphasizing its impact on individuals diagnosed with HIV, tuberculosis, and COVID-19. A comprehensive literature review was conducted across multiple academic databases, focusing on peer-reviewed studies published within the last ten years. Findings indicate that stigma contributes to heightened mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and social isolation, while also negatively influencing employment and healthcare-seeking behaviors. Systemic factors, including policy deficiencies, cultural beliefs, and media representation, further perpetuate stigma and hinder effective intervention efforts. Successful stigma-reduction programs highlight the importance of community engagement, educational campaigns, and healthcare provider training in fostering a more inclusive environment for affected individuals. The study underscores the necessity of policy reforms that protect patient confidentiality and promote non-discriminatory healthcare practices. Future research should explore culturally specific interventions and longitudinal assessments of stigma-related experiences to enhance public health strategies. Addressing stigma requires a multifaceted approach integrating policy, education, and community-driven initiatives to improve health outcomes and quality of life for individuals with infectious diseases.

Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) education is an essential public health strategy for improving hygiene, nutrition, and physical activity among students. This study examines the effectiveness of PHBS educational interventions in promoting behavioral change while identifying key challenges that hinder implementation. A systematic review methodology was employed to assess relevant literature from academic databases, focusing on studies that evaluate school-based health education programs. The results indicate that structured interventions, including interactive learning, digital education, and community engagement, significantly enhance students' adherence to PHBS principles. However, barriers such as inadequate infrastructure, socio-cultural resistance, and inconsistent policy enforcement continue to limit program effectiveness. The discussion highlights the need for improved resource allocation, policy integration, and innovative educational approaches to address these challenges. Additionally, multi-sectoral collaboration among schools, health professionals, and policymakers is crucial in ensuring sustainable PHBS education. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating health education into national curricula and adopting evidence-based interventions to promote long-term behavioral change. Future research should explore scalable PHBS education models and assess their impact across diverse socio-economic settings. Strengthening PHBS education through policy support and interdisciplinary collaboration is essential in fostering a healthier generation and addressing public health concerns in educational environments.

Abstract

Taxation policies, digital economy expansion, and sustainability initiatives are key determinants of global economic growth. This study investigates their combined impact through a qualitative case study in Indonesia. The research employs in-depth interviews with academics, economists, policymakers, and business leaders to explore how these factors shape economic development. Findings reveal that taxation policies significantly influence investment and consumption, with excessive tax burdens potentially stifling economic growth. The rise of the digital economy has reshaped labor markets, leading to both employment displacement and new job opportunities requiring digital competencies. Sustainability policies, while essential for long-term economic stability, necessitate inclusive strategies to avoid disproportionately affecting vulnerable populations. The study contributes to the existing body of knowledge by highlighting the interconnectedness of fiscal, digital, and sustainability policies in driving economic growth. It emphasizes the need for policymakers to design balanced tax structures, invest in digital skills development, and implement sustainability policies that promote equitable economic progress. Future research should assess long-term trends in taxation, digital transformation, and sustainability on macroeconomic stability and social equity.

Abstract

Climate change has significantly influenced the transmission dynamics of dengue fever, particularly through rising temperatures, increased precipitation variability, and higher humidity levels. This study systematically examines the relationship between climate variability and dengue epidemiology, highlighting the expansion of Aedes aegypti vectors into previously non-endemic regions. A systematic literature review was conducted using PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar to analyze peer-reviewed studies published in the past decade. Key findings indicate that higher temperatures accelerate mosquito development and viral replication, leading to a shorter extrinsic incubation period. Additionally, fluctuating rainfall patterns create optimal breeding conditions, increasing the density of mosquito populations and dengue incidence rates. The results underscore the necessity for climate-adaptive public health policies, improved urban planning, and proactive vector control measures to curb disease transmission. Climate-based early warning systems, environmental management strategies, and interdisciplinary research integrating climatology and epidemiology are critical in mitigating future outbreaks. Given the escalating global burden of dengue fever, urgent and sustained efforts are required to address the challenges posed by climate change and safeguard vulnerable populations against increasing health risks.

Abstract

Public perceptions of herbal and chemical medicine differ significantly between urban and rural populations, influenced by cultural traditions, education levels, economic status, and access to healthcare services. This study aims to analyze these differing perceptions and their implications for public health and regulatory policies. A systematic literature review was conducted using PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar, targeting peer-reviewed studies published in the past decade. The findings indicate that urban populations generally prefer pharmaceutical drugs due to their regulatory oversight and clinical validation, whereas rural communities rely more on herbal medicine due to affordability, accessibility, and cultural heritage. Regulatory challenges and inconsistent labeling standards have emerged as critical issues affecting public confidence in herbal medicine. Furthermore, healthcare professionals often lack sufficient knowledge of herbal medicine, limiting their ability to guide patients effectively. These disparities underscore the need for enhanced regulation, public education, and professional training in herbal medicine. The study recommends comprehensive policy interventions, including standardized clinical testing for herbal treatments and increased healthcare access in rural areas. Future research should focus on bridging the divide between traditional and modern medicine through integrative healthcare strategies. Strengthening regulatory frameworks and promoting education will be crucial in ensuring safe and informed medical choices.
