Abstract

Pulmonary Tuberculosis is a respiratory infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and is contagious. Symptoms of pulmonary tuberculosis such as bleeding cough, cold sweat at night, shortness of breath and weight decreased. The role of the family in improving the motivation of taking medication such as preparing the medicine, accompanying control and reminding to drinking drug regularly This study aims to determine the relationship of the role of the family with the motivation to take medication in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in Nganjuk Public Health Center.This type of research uses correlation approach. The number of samples were 38 respondents of pulmonary tuberculosis patients and also their families were obtained by purposive sampling method. Independent variable is family role and dependent variable is drug drinking motivation. The result of statistical test using Spearman Rho test got 0,000 significance value meaning p – value < 0,05, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected so that family role related to medication motivation in pulmonary tuberculosis patient at Nganjuk Public Health Center.The role of the family can increase the motivation to take medication so that it can reduce the risk of drug dropping and resistance to Anti Tuberculosis Drug (ATD) when undergoing treatment Process of pulmonary tuberculosis.

Abstract

A primary school child is a vulnerable group dental and mouth disease because it still has a habit of lacking self support to dental health , and one of the dental diseases experienced by dental caries. The purpose of research to know dietary relationships and the habit of brushing teeth with the onset of dental caries in children at SDN Kampung Dalem 6 Kediri. Observational research design with cross sectional approach. Population of all children aged 7-8 years in SDN Kampung Dalem 6 Kediri City as many as 60 people, sa mpel as many as 60 respondents. Data collection with questioner and observation for 1 weekthen analyzed by Spearman test. The results showed almost half the respondents has a diet with sufficient category of 28 respondents (46.7%), almost half of respondents has Kabiasaan brushing teeth with enough category that is as much as 27 respondents (45%), half of respondents suffered dental caries type 3 that is enough 27 respondents (45%), and there is a relationship between eating patterns and the habit of brushing teeth with the onset of dental caries in children at SDN Kampung Dalem 6 Kediri (Spearman with p value = 0.00 0 0 <α 0.05). Diet and habits of a good brushing teeth properly will reduce the risk for developing dental caries due for wich good diet and good habits to brush their teeth properly can reduce exposure to the causative agent of dental caries.

Abstract

Herbal medicine is herbal medicine that uses infusions that will be mixed according to consumer demand. The use of herbal medicine by Indonesian people reaches more than 50%. This study aims to analyze personal, social, cultural and psychological factors that influence the high consumer interest in herbal medicine in Selorejo Hamlet, Jemekan Village, Ringinrejo District. This research method is a quantitative descriptive study with a purposive sampling technique in July with data collection using a questionnaire, in this study the population was residents of Selorejo Hamlet, Jemekan Village, Ringinrejo District with a total of 144 respondents. Statistical tests use parametric with data analysis using multiple regression analysis. The results of the study show that: (1) personal factors that influence the high level of consumer interest in herbal medicine are proven by a t value of 0.03 < 0.05 and a coefficient of determination of 0.387; (2) social factors that influence the high level of consumer interest in herbal medicine are proven by a t value of 0.247 > 0.05 and a coefficient of determination of 0.387; (3) cultural factors that influence the high level of consumer interest in herbal medicine are proven by a t value of 0.04 < 0.05 and a coefficient of determination of 0.387; (4) psychological factors that influence the high level of consumer interest in herbal medicine are proven by a t value of 0.00 < 0.05 and a coefficient of determination of 0.387; (5) the influence of personal, social, cultural and psychological factors that influence the high level of consumer interest in herbal medicine is proven by the F value. 0.000 < 0.05. The conclusion of this study is that personal factors H1 are accepted, social factors H2 are rejected, cultural factors H3 are accepted, psychological factors H4 are accepted, H5 are accepted..

Abstract

Hypertension is a problem that is difficult to control because hypertensive patients rarely feel a symptom that the sufferer does not realize until they experience complications in vital organs such as the heart, brain and kidneys. Prevention of hypertension can be done by continuing a hypertensive diet to prevent further severe impacts. Objective: To find out if there is Dietary Compliance with Hypertension with Blood Pressure in the Elderly in Muara Besar Village, Ogodeide Health Center Working Area, Tolitoli Regency. The design used in the study was observational The population was All Elderly Hypertension. The sample size was 37 respondents using the Simple Random sampling technique. The Independent Variable of the study was dietary adherence. The dependent variable is Blood pressure. The data was collected using a questionnaire, then the data was analyzed using the Spearman rho test , with a significance level of α ≤ 0.05. The results of the study were obtained that p=0.021 with a=0.05, which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so that it can be interpreted that there is a relationship between hypertensive dietary compliance with blood pressure reduction in the elderly in Muara Besar Village, Ogodeide Health Center Working Area, Tolitoli Regency, with a correlation coefficient of 0.379 which means that there is a strong relationship. Hypertensive patients who are regular in their diet will increase the stability of blood pressure through the relaxation mechanism of blood vessels located in the vasomotor center which results in vasodilation activity so that blood pressure becomes stable

Abstract

The high number of deaths from traffic accidents is still one of the problems encountered in the State of Indonesia, and one of the factors that affect the high number of casualties is due to the slow handling death were waged against victims accidents traffic. The aim of research for the effect of education healt h pre- hospital on the victims of traffic accidents on knowledge and attitudes in the Village Tinalan Kediri. Research design pre-experimental approach of one-group pre-post test. Respondents were drawn using purposive sampling technique. Population The whole community of road users in Kelurahan Tinalan Kediri. Sample of 41 respondents. Independent Varabel of helath education, dependent variable of knowledge and attitude. Results were analyzed using the Wilcoxon statistical test. The results showed the majority of respondents have less knowledge before health education as many as 30 respondents (73.2%), almost all respondents had an attitude negative before health education as many as 34 respondents (82.9%), the majority of respondents have a good p se What Knowledge categories have health education as many as 23 respondents (56.1%), almost all respondents had an attitude with positive categories had been given health education se as many as 35 respondents (85.4%) of the total 41 respondents. Results of analysis addressing p-value = 0.000 <α 0.05, so the H1 accepted which means there is the effect of education health pre- hospital on the victims of traffic accidents on knowledge and attitudes in the Village Tinalan Kediri. Increased knowledge and attitude change towards the positive Tinalan Village community in handling traffic accident victims influenced by the information provided by the researchers through health education on handling the victims of traffic accidents so that people are aware of the importance of first aid to the victims of accidents.
