Abstract

Accidents at work are a problem in Indonesia, especially in West Java. One of the jobs that has a high risk is the activity of fabricating and ironing beams. This work is structural work which is located on a critical path. The aim is to identify each stage of work up to OSH risk control in beam fabrication and ironing activities in the Santika – Nagrak Hotel Development project in Sukabumi Regency. The method in this study is qualitative by using interview techniques. The interview technique uses three informants, namely key informants, key informants and supporting informants. The data analysis used is the Miles and Hiberman method. The results of the data show that iron fabrication and beam ironing have a high risk of accidents and accidents have occurred, namely the risk of being pinched, falling from a height and being scratched. Meanwhile, the control measures undertaken by management are the provision of PPE, sockets equipped with lids or housings, carrying out routine checklists, conducting inductions for new workers, morning briefings and always reminding them of the applicable SOPs. OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH risk control in beam fabrication and procurement activities has been carried out by management so that workers remain safe at work.

Abstract

Health belief model is a model used to describe an individual's belief in healthy living behavior, so that the individual will carry out health behavior in the form of preventive behavior. This health belief model is often used to predict preventive health behavior. The health belief model is used to predict various health-related behaviors. The main concept of the Health belief model is healthy behavior determined by individuals in Bandar Lor Village, Mojoroto District, Kediri City. This type of research is analytical observational with a cross sectional approach with a sample size of 54 respondents, taken using the Porposive Sampling technique. The data analysis used was univariate, bivariate, univariate analysis and the Chi Square test. The results of this research show that the statistical test results of Perceived Susceptibility (p=0.306), Perceived Severity (p=0.503), Perceived Benefit of Action (p=0.301), Cues to Action (p=0.209) have no relationship with sexual behavior. Meanwhile, Self Efficacy (p=0.003) has a relationship with sexual behavior. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the perception related to sexual behavior is Self Efficacy. So it is hoped that teenagers can learn and increase their insight into the impact of sexual behavior so that they can avoid negative sexual behavior.

Abstract

As service providers, the role of officers must be supported by knowledge, infrastructure, response and empathy so that immunization services during a pandemic can continue to run optimally. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the Measles Rubella (MR) immunization service for children aged 18-24 months during the pandemic at the Bumiaji Health Center, Batu City. The research design used was observational with a cross sectional approach with linear regression statistical tests to determine the factors that influence the Measles Rubella (MR) immunization service in children aged 18-24 months during the pandemic at the Bumiaji Health Center, Batu City. The population was 32 immunization officers at the Bumiaji Health Center with a sample of 30 respondents using simple random sampling. The results of statistical tests showed that the significance results for the knowledge variable were 0.735 > 0.05, the infrastructure variable was 0.000 < 0.05 and the response and empathy variables were 0.456 > 0.05. For the variables of knowledge, response and empathy, Ho is accepted and H1 is rejected, meaning that there is no influence of knowledge or response and empathy to immunization services. While in the infrastructure variable Ho is accepted and H1 is rejected, it means that there is an effect of response and empathy of officers on immunization services. From the results of the study, it was concluded that only infrastructure had an effect on immunization services. In the simultaneous analysis of all variables when analyzed simultaneously on immunization services, there is indeed a significant effect. The Health Office is expected to continue to support increasing knowledge, equipping infrastructure, motivating response and empathy for officers so that Measles Rubella (MR) immunization services for children aged 18-24 months during a pandemic can run even better.

Abstract

Malaria has been a health issue recently that can cause death. The high incidence of malaria is closely related to several factors. Such as during the rainy season where spring water flows stagnant, in puddles of rainwater on the ground, and in rock holes. In the dry season, groundwater sources decrease, causing puddles to form along rivers. These puddles of water are used as breeding places. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between puddle water conditions and the incidence of malaria in Waimaringi Village. The type of research used was analytical observational with a cross-sectional approach. Population size 800 respondents. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, totaling 267 respondents. Data analysis used bivariate analysis with the Chi Square test at a significance level of α ≤ 0.05. The research results were found to be significant at 0.000 or smaller than 0.05, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted where there was a relationship between puddle water conditions and the incidence of malaria in Waimaringi Village.
