Abstract

Depression is one of the form disturbance psychology in nature feeling (affective/mood disorder) , which is marked with melancholy , listlessness , nothingness excitement life , feeling No useful , break up hope and so on . Interesting self is something circumstances experiencing patients _ no ability For stage connection with other people or with environment surrounding in a way natural and alive in imaginary myself who doesn't realistic . Objective study This know related factors _ with depression in patients interesting yourself at home Mental Illness Dr. Suparto Hardjohoesodo Kendari. Method study This is descriptive analytic whereas approach used _ is approach cross-sectional. Population in study This is all over patient disturbance soul at RSJ Dr. Suparto Hardjohoesodo Kendari numbered 148 patients . Retrieval technique sample is random sampling. Variable independently measured _ is type gender , age , occupation and education , meanwhile variable dependent is interesting self . Data collection using questionnaire . Data is presented in form tested tables and narratives _ statistics chi-square with level meaning p = 0.05 for know connection between independent and dependent . Research result based on chi-square show consecutive based on type gender , age , occupation and education as following mark p = 0.012, p = 0.034, p = 0.013 p = 0.024 meaning There is connection between type gender , age , occupation and education with depression in patients interesting self . Deep conclusion study This is There is connection between type gender , age , occupation and education with depression in patients interesting yourself at home Mental Illness Dr. Suparto Hardjohoesodo Kendari. Abstract

The incidence of post partum blues quite high at 26.00% -85.00%. Of the several studies described as much as 50.00% of mothers after childbirth are depressed and almost 80.00% of new mothers experience postpartum blues, or often called Post Partum Blues. 50-70% of all postpartum women will experience this syndrome. The research objective was to determine the factors associated with the syndrome baby blues on post partum mothers in hospitals Power Makassar. The research method is analytical, using cross sectional design. The study population was all normal post partum patients in hospitals Power Makassar. Samples numbered 32 people using accidental sampling technique. Data were collected by questionnaires and then conducted a statistical analysis using chi square test with alternative test Fisher's exact test with a significance level a < 0,05. The results based on age shows that most mothers are at an age not at risk as many as 24 people (75, 0%). Based on parity, most are not at risk as many as 24 people (75, 0%). Based on the support of her husband, most mothers received support as many as 26 people (81.2%). Based on the knowledge, most mothers with a good knowledge of as many as 23 people (71.9%). While based on the incidence of the syndrome baby blues most mothers do not experience the baby blues syndrome as many as 23 people (71.9%). Based on the results of the study concluded that there is a relationship between maternal age, maternal parity, husband's support, and knowledge with baby syndrome in mothers postpartum blues. Suggested to the public / patient in the presence of this study can add to the information and knowledge about the syndrome baby blues so as to prevent the baby blues.

Abstract

Emergency nursing nursing is a comprehensive nursing service provided to patients with acute injuries or life-threatening illnesses. Based on data obtained from RSU Sayang Rakyat Makassar , the number of patients requiring basic life support in 2013 was 60 patients, in 2014 there were 80 patients, and in 2015 there were 119 patients. Objective study is For get the picture knowledge nurse about implementation help life Basics in Installation Bad Emergency RSU Sayang Rakyat Makassar. Type study This is Observational research is descriptive . Population in study This are all nurses on duty at the installation Bad The emergency situation at the Sayang Rakyat Hospital in Makassar was 19 people . Sample amount 19 people use technique total sampling . Research was carried out starting date 13 to 18 April 2016. Data collected with using a questionnaire . The research results show that Most of the respondents had good knowledge about implementing basic life support, namely 18 people ( 94, 7 %), and the majority of nurses carried out basic life support according to 2010 AHA provisions, namely 17 people (89.5%). Based on results study concluded that Most nurses have good knowledge about implementing basic life support, and most nurses carry out basic life support in accordance with the provisions of AHA 2010. It is recommended that hospital institutions need to increase the knowledge and skills of nurses regarding basic life support by holding seminars or continuous training. so that nurses are able to provide services to patients experiencing emergency conditions, as well as evaluating and monitoring nurses who have not and have undergone training.

Abstract

The elderly are a high-risk group who experience various health problems, especially degenerative diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis. Rheumatoid Arthritis has developed and attacked 2.5 million Europeans, around 75%, the prevalence of rheumatic pain in Indonesia reaches 23.6% to 31.3% . This study aims to determine the description of rheumatoid arthritis pain and the level of independence in daily life activities in the elderly in the Kaluku Bodoa Health Center Makassar Working Area . The population in this study were all elderly people in the working area of the Kaluku Bodoa Makassar Community Health Center. The number of samples studied was 67 respondents using the accidental sampling technique . Data was collected from March 30 to April 11 through filling out questionnaires and structured interviews . The results showed that of the 67 respondents, the majority of respondents experienced mild pain, namely 51 people (76.1%), while the level of independence of the elderly in daily life , the majority of respondents were independent, namely 48 people (71.6%) in perform ADL (Activity Daily Living). Based on the research results, it was concluded that respondents who experienced severe pain would always depend on their family members, thereby interfering with their daily activities, while respondents who only experienced mild pain would be more independent and able to carry out their daily life activities without help from other people . It is hoped that it can provide support to elderly families so that they continue to participate in the elderly posyandu program, as well as providing health education related to the elderly, such as rheumatoid arthritis pain for the elderly.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between preventive behavior and the incidence of malaria in the working area of the Liukang Kalmas Community Health Center Pangkep Regency . This research used analytical observational research , with a cross sectional design . Based on the results of research on the relationship between preventive behavior and the incidence of malaria in the work area of the Liukang Kalmas Health Center, Pangkep Regency , it was concluded that ; (1) Malaria prevention behavior among families at the Liukang Kalmas Community Health Center, Pangkep Regency, was mostly good, namely 113 people (83.1%) ; (2) The incidence of malaria in families at the Liukang Kalmas Community Health Center, Pangkep Regency, was mostly positive, namely 72 people (52.9%) ; (3) There is a relationship between prevention behavior and the incidence of malaria in the Liukang Kalmas Health Center Working Area, Pangkep Regency.

Abstract

Hypertension is a degenerative disease. Generally, blood pressure increases slowly with increasing age. WHO recorded that in 2012 there were at least 839 million cases of hypertension, estimated to be 1.15 billion in 2025 or around 29% of the total world population. The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between age and gender with the incidence of hypertension at Massenrempulu General Hospital, Enrekang district. The type of research used is a cross sectional design. The population in this study were all patients in the Internal Room at Massenrempulu General Hospital, Enrekang Regency in 2015, namely 272 people. The sample studied was 51 people using the nonprobability sampling method with accidental sampling technique. The research was carried out from 14 to 31 March 2016. Data was collected using a questionnaire and then statistical analysis was carried out using the chi square test with the alternative Fisher exact test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of the study showed that of the 51 respondents studied, based on age, the most respondents were high risk, namely 35 people (68.6%), based on gender, the most respondents were women, namely 27 people (52.9% ), and the majority of respondents experienced hypertension, namely 36 people (70.6%). Based on the research results, it was concluded that there was a relationship between age and the incidence of hypertension, with a value of p = 0.001 < 0.05, and there was a relationship between gender and the incidence of hypertension, with a value of p = 0.002 < 0.05. It is recommended that health service officers always strive to provide information to the public by providing health education in an effort to develop strategies to prevent, reduce or control morbidity rates among hypertension sufferers in their work areas.

Abstract

Leadership is the most important factor in developing human resources (HR) in an organization. Management styles or leadership styles that are inappropriate or inappropriate for implementation given by leaders to their employees can reduce motivation, performance and ultimately job satisfaction. The aim of the research was to determine the description of the leadership style of the head of the room and the job satisfaction of nurses in the Internal Care and Surgery Room at Labuang Baji Hospital, Makassar . This research is observational research with a descriptive approach . The population in this study were 50 nurses who worked in the Internal Care and Surgical Rooms at Labuang Baji Hospital, Makassar . Total The sample studied consisted of 44 respondents using proportional random sampling technique . Data collection started from March 31 to April 14 2015 using a questionnaire. Based on the research results, it shows that of the 44 respondents , the majority perceived the head of the room's leadership style to be democratic, namely 32 respondents (72 , 7.2 %) , while based on nurses' job satisfaction, the majority felt satisfied , namely 37 people (84.09%) . Based on the research results, it was concluded that the majority of respondents perceived the leadership style of the head of the room to be democratic, and the majority of nurses were satisfied with their work . It is recommended that institutions always evaluate the leadership style of room heads and pay attention to the job satisfaction of nurses on duty in each room in order to achieve good work quality.

Abstract

The preoperative situation is a condition that can cause anxiety. Reducing anxiety is an important thing for nurses to do because physical and emotional stress can increase the risk of surgery. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between the role of nurses and the level of anxiety for fracture surgery patients. The research method used is a cross sectional method with a sampling technique using total sampling . The sample studied was 35 respondents who were treated in the Lontara II treatment room in the Orthopedics section of RSUP DR. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Makassar from April 18 to May 14 2009. Data was collected using a questionnaire and Chi Square statistical test analysis was carried out with a significance level aof ≤ 0.05. Based on the relationship test, it was found that the statistical p value = 0.002 ≤ 0.05 , which means that there is a fairly strong relationship between the role of preoperative nurses and a reduction in anxiety levels. In this study, clients with fractures who were about to undergo surgery received preoperative care , however the number/quantity of nursing roles given to patients was not optimal as expected, and from the results of the study it was concluded that the inadequate role of nurses in preoperative patients would affect the patient's anxiety level. Based on the description above, it is important for nurses to maintain and increase their role in providing preoperative care and pay attention to the client's preoperative anxiety level. Increasing the quantity and quality of preoperative nursing services involving physical, psychological, social and spiritual aspects. It is necessary to develop/research a standard procedure that allows treatment to reduce/reduce anxiety in preoperative nursing clients.

Type study This is non-experimental research with analytical methods , using a cross-sectional design . Population in study This is the average number of post mothers partum primiparas within one month who were cared for in the Postpartum Room at RSKD Mother and Child Siti Fatimah Makassar , namely 38 people . Sample studied _ is post mom partum primipara as much 34 people use technique accidental sampling , which was carried out starting date 11 to 17 April 2016. Data collected with questionnaire Then done analysis statistics using the chi square test with alternative tests Fisher 's exact test with levels meaning a < 0.05. The research results showed that of the 34 respondents studied, the majority of respondents did not experience anxiety, namely 22 people (64.7%) and the majority of respondents with smooth breast milk production, namely 24 people ( 70.6 % ). Based on results study concluded that there is a relationship level worry Mother post partum primipara with breast milk production , with p value = 0.00 1 < 0.05 . Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of play therapy arranging donut towers on improving the motor skills of children with Down syndrome at the Makassar Foundation for the Development of Disabled Children (YPAC) . The method used in this research is "one group pretest-posttest design", namely a research design This is done by giving a pretest (initial observation). The results of the study showed that before being given play therapy to arrange donut towers ( pretest ), there were 6 children (40.0 % ) who were not yet capable of motor skills. From this research it can be concluded that Play therapy arranging donut towers can influence children's motor development, because this therapy can train hand and eye coordination as well as children's ability to actively move their body parts.
