Abstract

Banyak Kebocoran gas LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) dapat menyebabkan bahaya serius seperti kebakaran dan ledakan. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk memiliki alat pendeteksi kebocoran gas LPG yang andal dan efektif. Sensor MQ6 adalah salah satu sensor gas yang banyak digunakan untuk mendeteksi keberadaan gas LPG. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Research & Development. Produk yang dibuat dalam penelitian ini adalah alat pendeteksi gas LPG berbasis mikrokontroler menggunakan sensor MQ-6, Wemos D1 R32, LCD, saklar, buzzer, dan bot telegram. Sensor MQ6 perlu dihubungkan dengan Wemos D1 R32. Alat pendeteksi akan terintegrasi dengan platform Telegram. Mikrokontroler akan mengirimkan notifikasi ke pengguna melalui Telegram jika terdeteksi kebocoran gas LPG yang melebihi ambang batas yang ditentukan.

Abstract

Temperature fluctuations can cause chicks to experience stress, decreased growth rates, and increased vulnerability to diseases. Manual monitoring and adjustment of temperature in chicken coops require significant manpower and are prone to human errors. Therefore, an automated temperature monitoring process is needed to enhance farming efficiency. This research method utilizes Research & Development. The automatic chicken coop temperature controller utilizes the DHT22 sensor, Wemos D1 R32, LCD, relay, buzzer, LED, incandescent light bulb, DC fan, and Telegram bot. The DHT22 is used as the temperature sensor, while the Wemos D1 R32 acts as the microcontroller. If the temperature exceeds or falls below the predefined limits, the relay connected to the fan or light bulb will turn on or off accordingly, and the results will be sent via Telegram. Based on the test results, the product has an error rate of 4.12%.

Abstract

The problem faced in learning at the Piksi Ganesha Indonesia Polytechnic, especially in engineering courses related to electricity on competency standards for installing simple electrical installations, is that there is no teaching media at the Piksi Ganesha Indonesia Polytechnic itself, especially in the Electronics Engineering Study Program. This learning media uses components: MCB, single switch, series switch, hotel switch, light fittings, lamps, cables and other supporting components. This learning media has been tested in electrical installation class classes. The results of testing the scores of all respondents obtained 63.3% to 83.3% in the category "Very Satisfied". Based on these test results, this learning media is effective as a learning medium at the Piksi Ganesha Indonesia Polytechnic.

Abstract

Buluspesantren sub-district is a public service provider, namely administrative services in an integrated sub-district manner. The types of services provided are family cards, birth certificates, child identity cards, electronic identity cards, migration, migration, death certificates, provision of recommendations, and general legalization. Of the many types of services required system design to facilitate the process of registration and reporting. The resulting system will later be developed using the waterfall method, the PHP programming language, and the MySQL database.

Abstract

The use of sunlight as an alternative resource is starting to be widely applied. Sunlight can produce electrical energy using solar panels. In its installation, solar panels must get maximum sunlight. Static installation prevents solar panels from getting maximum sunlight at any given time. Installing a solar tracker to get maximum sunlight. This will increase the voltage generated by the solar panels. This research method uses the Research & Development method. This solar tracker uses Arduino Nano, LDR, voltage sensor, LCD, and servo motors. The LDR will catch sunlight which is then converted into a value and sent to Arduino Nano as a determinant of the direction of motion of the servo motor. Based on the test results, this product can increase the average output voltage of solar panels by 5.67%.

Abstract

Usually people drink clean water from gallon dispensers to meet their daily needs. Furthermore, automatic drinking water dispensers are designed to facilitate the operation of automatic drinking water faucets by automatically filling drinking water without the need to press the gallon suction button. Based on these problems, the authors automatically produce drinking water faucets based on infrared sensors using the R&D (Research & Development) method, in particular by conducting research and developing the currently available tools. One gallon automatic drinking water faucet uses infrared sensor, electric motor or water pump, relay, faucet PCB, ribbon cable and female hook connector. The infrared sensor detects the glass marked with the LED signal light and the power LED turns green, then receives the signal sent to the switch relay to automate the operation of the water pump/electric motor to dispense gallons of water.

Abstract

Running text, commonly known as scrolling text, is a prevalent method of conveying information in public places such as places of worship, shopping centers, and stores. Despite its informative nature, updating running text is often hindered when users are not near a computer. This research employs the Research & Development methodology. The process involves stages of potential and problem identification, information collection, design conceptualization, development, testing, and product revision. The device utilizes Arduino Uno, DMD P10, and HC-05. Testing was conducted with character variations ranging from 23 to 64 within a distance of 20 meters. The results indicate a delay time of approximately 0.64 to 2.19 seconds. This demonstrates a solution that enables running text updates via Bluetooth connection from Android devices, helping to overcome the challenge of updates that are difficult without a PC/laptop.

Abstract

In carrying out business activities, Toko Tujuh uses manual recording for both sales and purchase transactions. This is less effective and efficient because store management will become more complex when the goods are more complete and plentiful. To overcome this problem is to create a web-based retail store cashier information system. This information system design process uses the Point of Sales (POS) concept which focuses on sales and systems that support the transaction process. Software development uses the Waterfall Method which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. Features such as stock management, sales and purchase transactions and sales and purchase reports will be contained in the information system. With Black Box Testing, test results are obtained that show the information system is valid and suitable for use.

Abstract

The issues encountered during my studies at Politeknik Ganesha Piksi Indonesia, especially in the microcontroller-related engineering course with Arduino UNO-based sensor skill standards, include the lack of demonstration support at Politeknik Piksi Ganesha Indonesia, particularly in the electronic engineering research program. The learning materials for this course include the following components: Arduino UNO, DHT11 sensor, LDR sensor, sound sensor, PIR motion sensor, fire sensor, MQ-6 sensor, I2C LCD, LED, buzzer, relay module, USB cable, Jumper cables, and project tables, supporting electrical installation. According to the test results, all respondents obtained scores ranging from 56% to 70%, with the category being "Very Satisfied." Based on the testing results, this learning medium is effective as a learning tool at Politeknik Piksi Ganesha, Indonesia.

Abstract

The PAMSIMAS program is one of the government initiatives aimed at facilitating the water and sanitation needs of rural communities. One such PAMSIMAS program is implemented in the village of Sekartrjo, known as PAMSIMAS SEKAR TIRTA. The calculation of water prices and usage from PAMSIMAS is currently done manually, which is inefficient in terms of time and effort for the PAMSIMAS management. The objective of this research is to simplify the calculation of water prices and usage for PAMSIMAS management by creating an "Arduino-Based Water Usage Monitoring Device for PAMSIMAS." This research utilizes the Research and Development (R&D) methodology. The components used include Arduino UNO, an ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04, and an LCD display. The HC-SR04 sensor detects the water volume level released from the storage tank. When the sensor captures the signal waves, it adjusts the water flow distance set in the Arduino Uno Controller, and the calculation results are displayed on the LCD. It is expected that this product will assist the management of PAMSIMAS Sekar Tirta in the village of Sekartejo in effectively calculating volume and costs
