Abstract

In this research, the problem is how the index of village independence in Banjar Regency is and how is the economic competitiveness of villages in Banjar Regency. In general, this study aims to determine the index of village independence and the economic competitiveness of villages in Banjar Regency. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach, while the data collection techniques were conducted by interview and documentation, and the data analysis technique used was a descriptive, interpretive. From the study results, it was found that most villages in Banjar Regency were classified as developing. Based on IKS data, which reached the Village Independence Index, which was 7.22%; based on IKE data, it got the Village Independence Index, which was 0.72%; and based on IKL data, which reached the Village Independence Index, which was 6.50%. The economic competitiveness of villages in Banjar Regency is between towns with a developing classification, which is 214 villages, and an advanced type, which is 11 villages; this competitiveness can be seen from the adequate facilities in the town.

Abstract

The study aims to find out the difference in clothing merchant income in the old market of Banjarmasin City before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses T Sample Paired test data analysis technology, processed with SPSS 16. It uses primary data from interviews that are obtained directly from several samples by providing questionnaires to clothing traders in the old market. There are 36 clothing merchants. This research is quantitative descriptive research. The results of this study showed that before being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and during the Covid-19 pandemic, there was a difference in the income of clothing merchants.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial feasibility of the Terminal Gambut Barakat before the BMN lease collaboration with UNISKA, identify the level of sensitivity of the Terminals cash flow after the partnership, and find out the social benefits of this collaboration when viewed from the perspective of UNISKA and the people of Banjar Regency. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods with data analysis techniques, namely financial feasibility analysis and sensitivity analysis. The result of this study indicates that before the cash flow cooperation, Terminal Gambut Barakat was not financially feasible. After the lease agreement was put, it was also still not financially feasible, even though the opening of the UNISKA campus at the Terminal Gambut Barakat was categorized as financially unfeasible. Still, this collaboration provided many social benefits for the people of Banjar Regency and its surroundings.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach by analyzing the Elasticity and Efforts of Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) to GRDP in Banjarmasin City. The results obtained are: 1) the calculation of the elasticity of PBB-P2 on the GRDP of the city of Banjarmasin in 2014-2020 (7 years) has an average value of 4.60, which means that for every 1% change in PBB-P2 occurs, efforts can be made to increase GRDP by 4.60% so that the Government can optimizing potential tax opportunities as a multiplier effect on GRDP; 2) the calculation of PBB-P2 tax efforts on the GRDP of Banjarmasin City in 2013-2020 from year to year tend to have a relatively constant value, which ranges from 0.09 to 0.13 and has an average value of 0.11 or classified as very low, resulting in low awareness of the people of Banjarmasin City in paying taxes, especially PBB-P2 Banjarmasin City. In addition, there are a lot of vacant lands whose owners are outside the area, so Bakeuda Banjarmasin City has difficulty collecting PBB-P2.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of increasing the use of information and communication technologies, in terms of cellular phones, computers, and the internet, on the provincial Gross Domestic Regional Product per capita in Indonesia. Static panel data regression using Within-Group Fixed Effect and dynamic panel data regression using System GMM is employed. The result shows that increasing the use of cellular phones, computers, dan the internet can promote provincial GDRP per capita. However, the impact caused by using ICTs is still relatively small.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the strength of the relationship between population, number of tourists, and inflation on restaurant tax revenues in Banjarmasin City. The scope of the research is restaurant tax in Banjarmasin City using multiple linear regression analysis with quantitative descriptive data collection techniques taken from secondary data sourced from the literature and official data. The results of this study ashowthat there is a joint influence between the number of residents, the number of tourists, and inflation on restaurant tax revenues in Banjarmasin City. While partially only the population has a positive and significant influence.

Abstract

The research aims to verify and analyze the effect of GRDP, PMA, PMDN, capital expenditures, and minimum wages on labor absorption. The data are descriptive with secondary data. The analysis is panel data regression analysis, a combination of data for 2015 2019 and cross-section data for 13 districts/cities in South Kalimantan Province, which were processed using the REVIEWS 11 application. The results show that (1) GRDP, PMA, PMDN, capital expenditure, and minimum wages that affect the absorption of labor simultaneously; (2) The minimum wage have a significant positive, GRDP have an insignificant positive, PMA, PMDN, and capital expenditures have an insignificant negative effect on the absorption of labor district/cities in South Kalimantan Province in 2015 2019

Abstract

This study aims to (1) analyze how much influence the production of rubber has on the GRDP of the plantation sector in Tanah Bumbu Regency, (2) analysis how big the influence of the area on the GRDP of the plantation sector in Tanah Bumbu Regency (3) analyze how much influence the price has on the GRDP of the plantation sector in Tanah Bumbu Regency. The period of the year used and the years 2010 to 2019. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using the method of least squares (Ordina Least Square) to analyze how much the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. Based on the type of research used in this research is quantitative analysis, with the source of data collection. The type of data used in this research is secondary data. The results of this study are(1) showing rubber production, area, and rubber price have a significant effect simultaneously on the GRDP of the Plantation Sector in the District Tanah Bumbu, (2) show the results of this study that the area is a factor the largest production has a positive and significant effect on the GRDP of the Sector Plantations in Tanah Bumbu District.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) determine the effect of Government Expenditure and Investment Level on regional economic growth in Kalimantan and Sulawesi. (2) to find out how big the influence of each variable is and which variable is the most dominant influence of the variable Government Expenditure and Investment (DI and FI) on regional economic growth in Kalimantan and Sulawesi. This quantitative descriptive research uses the panel data regression analysis method using time series data from 2016 to 2020. Government spending, DI, FI, and economic growth are the variables used. The results of the study show that (1) Government Expenditures and the level of investment (domestic investment (DI) and foreign investment (FI)) together (simultaneously) have a significant effect on regional economic growth in Kalimantan and Sulawesi with the F-statistic test value of 0.003961. (2) Government spending and DI are the most dominant factors that have a positive and significant effect on regional economic growth in Kalimantan and Sulawesi, with probability t values of 0.0041 and 0.0506

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the growth rate of the Tabalong Regency restaurant tax, how much the restaurant tax contribution to the Tabalong Regency regional tax, and the aim to determine the Tabalong Regency restaurant tax's effectiveness. The data used in this study are secondary data and primary data using Time Series data from 2011 to 2019. The data source is obtained from the Tabalong Regency Regional Finance Agency. The method used is the descriptive quantitative method. Based on the research results, Tabalong Regency has as much as 25.88% for restaurant taxes; this is the less successful group. The calculation result is 24.33% for the restaurant tax contribution, including the contribution in Tabalong Regency. For the effectiveness, of the influential group because it obtained 117.20%
