Abstract

This study was conducted to (1) analyze the effect of Unemlployment, Caapital Expeenditure and Social Assistance Expenditure simultaneously on Poverty in Banjarbaru City in 2010-2020; (2) analyze the effect of unemployment, capital expenditure and partial in Banjarbaru City in 2010-2020. Descriptive quantitative and using multiple linear regression analysis techniques with time series and using Eviews 10 software is a type of this research. This study provides results that show that independently, namely Unemployment, Capital Expenditure and Social Assistance Expenditure have a significant effect on Poverty in Banjarbaru City 2010-2020. Only the variable of Unemployment has a significant effect on Poverty in Banjarbaru City in 2010-2020.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) and Human Development Index (HDI) on Economic Growth in 13 Districts/Cities of South Kalimantan. Data obtained from the secondary data which are cross section of 13 Districts/Cities and time series of 2007-2019. The method use panel data regression analysis with Fixed Effect Model via EViews 13 software program. Based on result of analysis, simultaneously Labor Force Participation Rate and Human Development Index are significant on Economic Growth in 13 Districts/Cities of South Kalimantan. Partially LFPR is significant and positive while HDI is significant and negative.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of South Kalimantan's Economic Growth, Poverty Rate, and Open Unemployment Rate in 2012-2021. This study used the panel data regression analysis method with quantitative data and the data was operated using the E-Views 10 application. The conclusion from this study is that Economic Growth has a negative and significant effect on the South Kalimantan Human Development Index in 2012-2021. The Poverty Level has a negative and significant effect on the South Kalimantan Human Development Index for 2012-2021. Meanwhile, the Open Unemployment Rate has a positive and insignificant effect on the South Kalimantan Human Development Index for 2012-2021.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Population, GRDP, and Average Years of Schooling on the Open Unemployment Rate in the Regency/ City of South Kalimantan Province in the 2017-2021 period. The method of analysis used is panel data regression analysis using Eviews 12 software. Data collection is carried out from official sources such as the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and other related agencies. The results of the study: (1) Population, GRDP, and Average Years of Schooling simultaneously affect the Open Unemployment Rate in the Regency/City of South Kalimantan Province. (2) Total population and GRDP partially have a significant effect on the Open Unemployment Rate, while Average Years of Schooling has no effect on the Open Unemployment Rate in the Regency/City of South Kalimantan Province. (3) Total Population is the most dominant variable affecting the Open Unemployment Rate.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the effect of the Population Growth Rate, Economic Growth, and Inflation both partially and simultaneously on the Unemployment Rate in South Kalimantan Province in 2011-2020. The type of research used is a quantitative approach. With data analysis used in the form of Time Series data. Meanwhile, the data used comes from the official website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The results of the study show that, simultaneously, it has a significant effect on the Unemployment Rate. Then, partially the Population Growth Rate and Inflation have a significant effect, Economic Growth has no significant effect on the Unemployment Rate in South Kalimantan Province in 2011-2020.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the impact of GRDP, Labor Force, and Provincial Minimum Wage variables on Labor Absorption in South Kalimantan Province in 2010-2022. Time series data regression analysis was chosen as the method  and processed using Eviews 12 software.. The results of data processing show that the variables of GRDP, Labor Force, and Provincial Minimum Wage together have a significant effect on labor absorption in South Kalimantan Province. Meanwhile, Partially GRDP is detected to have a positive and insignificant effect on labor absorption in South Kalimantan Province, the Labor Force variable has a positive and significant effect on labor absorption in South Kalimantan Province. Then, the Minimum Wage variable has a negative and insignificant effect on labor absorption in South Kalimantan.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of Local Own Revenue and balancing funds on financial performance in terms of the ratio of operating activities and how the financial performance of local governments when viewed from the analysis of financial ratios. This study uses descriptive analysis, classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that regional original income has no significant effect on financial performance, while balancing funds have a significant negative effect on financial performance. When viewed from the analysis of financial ratios, the financial performance of local governments is not good enough because most of the financial ratios still tend to be in the low category, meaning that local governments are still unable to reduce the level of dependence on financial assistance from the central government.

Abstract

This research aims to see the variables of the Unemployment Rate, Population Growth and Economic Growth partially and simultaneously on the Human Development Index in Banjarmasin City as well as the factors that have the most dominant influence on the Human Development Index in Banjarmasin City. This research uses a multiple linear regression model with the Eviews 10 application. The results obtained from this research are that the Unemployment Rate, Population Growth and Economic Growth together have a significant effect on the Human Development Index in Banjarmasin City. This research explains 93% of the dependent variable while the other 7% is explained by other variables outside this research model. The Economic Growth variable is the variable that most dominantly influences the HDI in Banjarmasin City.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to examine the simultaneous effects of economic growth, HDI, and TPAK on income inequality in the regencies and cities of South Kalimantan Province for the years 2017–2021 and examine the partial effects of economic growth, HDI, and TPAK on income inequality in the regencies and cities of South Kalimantan Province for the years 2017–2021. This study employs panel data regression analysis with the fixed effect model and Eviews 10 software. It is quantitative descriptive in nature. According to the study's conclusions, TPAK and HDI each have a sizable impact. For the period of 2017–2021, only the Economic Growth variable has no discernible impact on income disparity in the Regencies/Cities of South Kalimantan Province. Furthermore, together the independent variables significantly influence income inequality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the regional financial performance of 13 regencies and cities in South Kalimantan Province and the difference before and during the Covid-19 during 2018–2021. This study applies a descriptive quantitative approach with regional financial ratio analysis, which includes the fiscal decentralization ratio, the regional financial independence ratio, the effectiveness ratio, the efficiency ratio, and the compatibility ratio. The data source is Direktorat Jenderal Perimbangan Keuangan. The resulting findings are that regional financial performance in 13 regions tends to experience pressure during the covid-19 pandemic compared to the previous period. the fiscal decentralization ratio has an average of 13 regencies and has increased by 2.2%, the regional financial independence ratio has increased by 3%, the effectiveness ratio has increased by 6%, and the efficiency ratio has increased by 8.5%. The compatibility ratio consisting of the operating and the capital expenditure ratios decreased by -1.3% and -3.3%.
