Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the growth rate of the Tabalong Regency restaurant tax, how much the restaurant tax contribution to the Tabalong Regency regional tax, and the aim to determine the Tabalong Regency restaurant tax's effectiveness. The data used in this study are secondary data and primary data using Time Series data from 2011 to 2019. The data source is obtained from the Tabalong Regency Regional Finance Agency. The method used is the descriptive quantitative method. Based on the research results, Tabalong Regency has as much as 25.88% for restaurant taxes; this is the less successful group. The calculation result is 24.33% for the restaurant tax contribution, including the contribution in Tabalong Regency. For the effectiveness, of the influential group because it obtained 117.20%

Abstract

This research was conducted to see employment opportunities, social assistance spending, and economic growth related to poverty in Sout Kalimantan Province. The data used is the time series in 2007-2017, using multiple linear regression analysis. The study results are partially employment opportunity variables, social assistance spending, and growth affect poverty. In contrast, simultaneously, employment opportunity variables do not affect poverty, but social assistance spending and growth variables affect poverty in South Kalimantan Province.

Abstract

This study's purpose is to determine the effect of infrastructure, investment, and economic growth on employment opportunities in Tapin Regency, assess the impact of infrastructure, investment, and economic growth on people's welfare, choose the direct and indirect effects of infrastructure, investment, and the economic growth on the interest of the community through employment opportunities in Tapin Regency. This study uses the Path Analysis method's time series data from 2011 to 2020. Results of this study indicate that infrastructure and investment have no significant effect on employment opportunities, while economic growth substantially impacts employment opportunities. Furthermore, infrastructure and investment do not considerably affect people's welfare; economic growth considerably affects community welfare in Tapin Regency. Lastly, the influence of infrastructure and buying on the people's interest in Tapin Regency is a more dominant indirect influence. Economic growth on the welfare of the people in Tapin Regency is a more dominant direct effect.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of Healthy Cities' implementation onBanjarmasin City HDI from 2010 to 2017 to find out how the effect of implementinghealthy cities on HDI in Banjarmasin City as a first step in taking policies related tothe implementation of healthy cities.This study's scope was to analyze the impact of the implementation of ahealthy city on the Banjarmason HDI in 2010-2017. The use of data analysistechniques in this study is descriptive, namely collecting, dividing, and decipheringthe data obtained. The objective results obtained from the problem of an analysis ofthe effects of monitoring data.This study indicates that the implementation of a healthy city has a positiveimpact on increasing the Human Development Index in Banjarmasin City. This can beseen from the increase in the Human Development Index of Banjarmasin City fromyear to year. Organizing healthy cities can also make health services better from yearto year and can be felt well by the community.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of harvested area, inflation, and economic growth on the exchange rate of farmers in South Kalimantan. This research was conducted in South Kalimantan by looking at Harvest Area, Inflation, economic growth and NTP in the period 2009-2018. This research is included in the type of quantitative descriptive research. This study uses secondary data and data analysis used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of this study include: Harvest area has negative and significant effect on NTP. Inflation does not have a significant effect on NTP; economic growth has a positive and significant effect on NTP; harvested area, inflation, and economic growth simultaneous have a significant effect on NTP.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the effect of economic growth, government expenditure, inflation, and unemployment on the level of poverty in Indonesia. This study uses time-series data in the form of annual data from the 1997-2017 period. This study's analysis technique uses the cointegration approach and Error Correction Model (ECM), and multiple linear regression models. The estimation results show that the variable of economic growth is statistically significant and negatively affects the level of poverty in Indonesia. Simultaneously, the variable of government expenditure, inflation, and unemployment are not statistically significant in influencing Indonesia's level of poverty. This study implies that economic growth is a macroeconomic variable that plays a significant role in reducing Indonesia's level of poverty.

Abstract

The purpose is to analyze the regional budget for regencies/cities in South Kalimantan province. They are analyzing the inhibiting factors in the South Kalimantan province's regencies/cities' provincial budget. And analyze what government policies are increasing regional spending in regencies/cities in South Kalimantan province. The type of data is secondary data (time series). This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the average spending variance in ten regencies/cities was favored (Favourable Variance). Expenditure growth shows eight regencies/cities positive results. Expenditure compatibility shows a balanced operating expenditure and two regencies/cities show an unbalanced category; capital expenditures show capital expenditure shows balanced expenditure, but only two regencies show a balance. Expenditure efficiency shows mixed result tend to be less efficient. The inhibiting factors in the performance of the regional budget are budget planning factors, budget execution, and human resources. The government takes policies to improve spending performance.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the effect of local taxes, levies, balance funds, and SiLPA on capital expenditures. The population used in this study were districts/cities in South Kalimantan, this study used quantitative research methods, and this data analysis technique used panel data with multiple linear regression and secondary data for nine years (2011-2019). Capital expenditures have an important role in improving public services, such as increasing the value of assets and obtaining assets, and improving public facilities with regional expenditures, which are effective in increasing the regional economy, such as increasing the useful life or adding value to road and bridge, irrigation and network assets. In the results of this study, the results of the linear regression analysis conducted show that the variables of Local Taxes and levies on districts and cities in South Kalimantan are not significant to capital expenditure and have a positive value, which means that the variables of Regional Taxes and Regional Levies have a significant relationship direction of Capital Expenditures but has no effect on Capital Expenditures. Balanced Funds in districts and cities in South Kalimantan have a positive value and significant effect on capital expenditure. Silpa in districts and cities in South Kalimantan has a significant positive effect on capital expenditure, which means that the Balanced Fund and SiLPA variables have a unidirectional relationship, meaning that it decreases. -the increase in the Balancing Fund and SiLPA variables in districts and cities in South Kalimantan affects capital expenditure

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the impact of the establishment of a minimarket franchise on the income of small traders or grocery in North Banjarmasin sub-district. The data used are primary data and secondary data obtained through in-depth interviews based on questionnaires by researchers that have been prepared and observations of traders and buyers of grocery stores scattered in the city of Banjarmasin, northern Banjarmasin district. The analytical tool used is paired sample t-test. Furthermore, descriptive analysis is used to determine the impact of the existence of the minimarket franchise on grocery traders. Based on paired sample t-test, it was proven that the existence of the franchise had an impact on the grocery store merchants in the city of Banjarmasin, North Banjarmasin. This can be seen from the decline in income from before and after the existence of a minimarket franchise.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of fiscal decentralizationand economic growth of South Kalimantan Province on inter-regional inequality. Thedata used in this study is secondary data with 12 years (time series), which ispublished once a year by the Central Statistics Agency of the Province of SouthKalimantan. The data needed is data on total balancing funds, economic growth, andGDP at the current price and population. The data analysis technique used is themultiple linear regression analysis methods.The results showed that simultaneously and partially, the variables of fiscal decentralization and economic growth had a positive and significant effect on inter-regional inequality.
