JIEP: Jurnal Ilmu Ekonomi dan Pembangunan adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Jurusan Ilmu Ekonomi dan Studi Pembangunan, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, yang terbit dua kali setahun pada bulan Mei dan November. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menjadi wadah publikasi karya ilmiah hasil penelitian, kajian analitis, dan pemikiran kritis di bidang ilmu ekonomi dan studi pembangunan. Fokus jurnal mencakup berbagai topik seperti ekonomi pertanian, ekonomi terapan, bisnis dan keuangan, pembangunan ekonomi, sejarah ekonomi, ekonomi lingkungan, ekonomi fiskal, ekonomi kesehatan, industri dan perdagangan, inflasi, ekonomi internasional, ekonomi Islam, ekonomi tenaga kerja, makro dan mikroekonomi, kebijakan moneter dan fiskal, ekonomi politik, kebijakan publik, pembangunan wilayah dan pedesaan, ekonomi perkotaan dan regional, pengangguran, serta ekonomi kesejahteraan. JIEP: Jurnal Ilmu Ekonomi dan Pembangunan is a scientific journal published by the Department of Economics and Development Studies, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, issued biannually in May and November. This journal aims to serve as a platform for publishing scientific works, research findings, analytical studies, and critical perspectives in the field of economics and development studies. The journal focuses on a wide range of topics including agricultural economics, applied economics, business and finance, economic development, economic history, environmental and ecological economics, fiscal economics, health economics, industry and trade, inflation, international economics, Islamic economics, labor economics, macroeconomics and microeconomics, monetary and fiscal policies, political economics, public policy, regional and rural development, urban and regional economies, unemployment, and welfare economics.

<![CDATA[This study aimed to determine the effect of the PAD effectivity ratio and APBD efficiency ratio on economic growth in the Kotabaru district. To answer the problem, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis is used. The data used in this study are secondary data on the budget realization report at constant prices based on business 2010 - 2018. The results of the research based on Multiple Linear Regression analysis show that the PAD effectivity ratio has a significant effect on economic growth in Kotabaru Regency, and APBD efficiency significant affects economic growth in the Kotabaru district.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to measure community welfare at the district/city level in South Sulawesi Province using a binary logistic regression model approach. The research employs a quantitative method. The dependent variable is community welfare, measured by the Human Development Index (HDI), which is categorized into two groups (HDI < 71 and HDI ≥ 71). The independent variables include access to improved sanitation (SL), economic growth (PE), poverty (POV), and the open unemployment rate (TPT). The data used are secondary data obtained from the latest publications by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The analysis model used is binary logistic regression with the Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) method. The results show that improved sanitation (SL) has a positive and significant effect on community welfare, economic growth (PE) has a significant negative effect, and the open unemployment rate (TPT) has a significant positive effect, while poverty (POV) does not have a significant effect on community welfare. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening basic infrastructure such as sanitation, transforming economic growth policies to be more inclusive, and creating productive employment opportunities in order to improve community welfare at the local level.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the classification of government financial performance and the effect of economic growth and the number of taxpayers on the government's financial performance of the Banjar Regency Government in 2015-2020. The analytical method analyzes local government financial performance and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the classification of the financial performance of the Banjar Regency government in 2015- 2020, on average, was in the medium category. In multiple linear regression analysis, it is known that economic growth and the number of taxpayers affect the financial performance of the Banjar Regency government. This shows that there needs to be an effort by the government to improve financial performance by taking policies that can improve the financial performance of local governmentslocally.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to determine the analysis of Gross Regional Domestic Product, Government Investment, and Inflation on Regional Financial Independence of Banjarmasin City for the 2010 - 2019 period. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with time series data sourced from BPS Banjarmasin City and the analysis tool uses Eviews10 . The regression equation obtained is Y = -3.561 + 0.349LnX – 0.082LnX2 + 0.787X3 + The results of this study indicate that partially the Gross Regional Domestic Product variable has a significant effect on Regional Financial Independence. While the variables of Government Investment and Inflation have no significant effect on Regional Financial Independence. Simultaneously, Gross Regional Domestic Product, government investment, and inflation have a significant effect on regional financial independence.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the intensity and determinants of intra-industry trade (IIT) textile and textile articles commodities between Indonesia and ASEAN countries during the 2010–2023 period. Utilizing panel data from ten ASEAN countries, the Grubel-Lloyd index, and a Fixed Effects model corrected with Generalized Least Squares (GLS), the study finds that Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia recorded the highest IIT levels. The Export Variety Index (EVI), industrial output, average GDP, per capita GDP differences, and R&D expenditure have a significant positive effect on IIT, while trade openness shows a significant negative effect. These findings highlight the critical role of product differentiation, economies of scale, and innovation in strengthening intra-industry trade. Policy implications include harmonizing industrial regulations and increasing investment in R&D to enhance the competitiveness of the ASEAN TTP sector.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this thesis research is to analyze the factors that can affect the income of coffee shops in Kertak Baru Ulu Village. The research location is in Kertak Baru Ulu Village, Banjarmasin with a total population and sample of 15 coffee shops. Using quantitative regression analysis techniques. Research data comes from primary data conducted through interviews and questionnaires. Variables consist of income, capital, number of workers, working hours and promotions. The study was conducted using multiple regression analysis (OLS) with a significance level of 0.05. The results in this study prove that the factors of capital, number of workers, working hours and promotions simultaneously have a significant effect on the income of the coffee shop in Kertak Baru Ulu Village. Capital factors and the number of workers partially affect the income of coffee shops. The effect of capital, number of workers, working hours and promotions on coffee shop income by 95% and 5% is explained by other factors.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine community participation in the development the Lowo Cave Tourist Attraction in Tegalrejo Village. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews using questionnaires and documentation with total of 40 respondents. The results of the study show that community participation the development of Goa Lowo tourism object which is supported by the village government is very good. This can be seen: community participation decision making is 81.25% high category, community participation implementing activities is 83.13% high category, community participation monitoring and evaluation is 86.88% high category, and participation community the utilization of the results 88.12% high category.]]>

<![CDATA[Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have a role in economic growth in the region. One of the MSMEs commonly found is street vendors. Especially in the Water Front City area of Muara Teweh, the income of street vendors is very varied due to certain factors.This study aims to determine the effect of factors such as the number of visitors, capital,working hours, age, and education level individually and simultaneously (simultaneously) on the income of street vendors. This research was conducted by quantitative method, where primary data was collected by questionnaire method. The results showed that the factors of capital and working hours had a positive impact on the income of street vendors. Meanwhile,the number of visitors, age, and level of education does not affect the income of street vendors.Meanwhile, the factors that were tested simultaneously (simultaneously) had a significant positive impact on the income of street vendors.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the profits and feasibility of fruit retailers traders in the District of Central Banjarmasin. The data analysis technique uses profit analysis, revenue, and total cost calculation. Collecting research data obtained from interviews, questionnaires, and direct observation. Primary data was taken by the researchers through direct observation in the field and interviews with the respondents with the instrument in the form of a list of questions that had been compiled, while the secondary data was the result of a literature study. The population and sample of this study amounted to 37 traders with purposive sampling as the sampling technique.The results showed that retail fruit income in Banjarmasin Tengah District was Rp4.908.931 per month. The results of the feasibility test of retail fruit traders resulted in a BEP value of Rp5.593.812. In addition, the R/C value of the retail fruit trading business in Central Banjarmasin District is 1.32.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was conducted to determine the Contribution, Effectiveness, and Potential of Receipt of Advertisement Tax to Regional Original Income in Banjarmasin. The data used in the form of secondary and primary data with research samples selected by stratified random sampling as many as 5 streets location from 29 streets location in Banjarmasin. This data analysis technique using descriptive analysis with the quantitative method. The results of this study indicate that the Contribution of receipt of Receipt of Advertisement Tax to Regional Original Income in Banjarmasin during the 2017-2021 budget year was still very poor. Effectiveness of Advertisement Tax in Banjarmasin tends to fluctuate, it happens in 2017-2021. Potential of Receipt Advertisement Tax in Banjarmasin on Regional Original Income in Banjarmasin is Rp 4.868.586.958,42,- or 63,39%.]]>
