Abstract

This study aimed to determine the contribution of advertisement tax, the effectiveness of advertisement tax on local revenue, and the elasticity of advertisement tax on the PDRB of Banjarmasin City in 2016-2020. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method. It was using secondary data sourced from BPKPAD and the Central Statistic Agency. The results of this study indicate that during the 2016-2020 period, the average contribution of Banjarmasin City advertisement tax revenue to regional income was still low, namely 1.32%. Meanwhile, during the 2016-2020 period, the effectiveness of advertisement tax revenue for the City of Banjarmasin was considered very high with an average of 82.67%. For the 2016-2020 time period, the average advertising tax revenue elasticity for GRDP has an average of -0.28%, so it is inelastic. That is, every 1% change in GRDP, can reduce the realization of advertisement tax by -0.28%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of coal mining on the economic environment and society of Batu Kajang, Paser Regency. The unit of analysis in this study is the economy of the people living in the vicinity of coal mining. The method of analyzing qualitative data is actively or continuously until the data is saturated (Miles and Huberman). The results of this study indicate that the impact of coal mining on the environment has a negative impact because it can pollute the environment and decrease water and air quality. On the other hand, the impact of coal mining on the economy of the Batu Kajang community is positive because it is able to lift the local economy with the arrival of mining workers living in Batu Kajang.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the Covid 19 Case of 2021 in Kalimantan in terms of the agricultural and mining sectors. This type of quantitative research using multiple linear regression analysis with the OLS method. The results showed that GRDP per capita, total population, share of the agricultural sector, and share of the mining sector had a significant effect on Model I indicating that the agricultural and mining sectors had a lower risk of confirmed cases of the cumulative number of positive cases of Covid-19, while the population and per capita GDP had a higher greater risk in the spread of covid 19 cases, Model II, showing that the agricultural and mining sectors have a lower risk of spreading the cumulative number of covid-19 death cases and Model III, showing the cumulative case of covid 19 deaths has an effect and is higher on the cumulative number of positive cumulative cases of covid -19.

Abstract

This research was conducted to provide answers to the results of an analysis of the influence of income, age, and number of dependents on household consumption which is located in Sungai Andai Village, Banjarmasin City. Taking a sample of 100 household heads through a simple random sampling technique, using primary data quantitative research with multiple linear regression method. Based on the results that have been obtained, income, age and number of dependents have a significant influence jointly/simultaneously and individually/partially. The income variable is the most dominant factor compared to other variables that affect household consumption in the Sungai Andai Village, Banjarmasin City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the contribution of the main sectors to the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in Balangan Regency. The data used are secondary data, namely data on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of the mining sector, agricultural sector, trade sector and construction sector from 2012-2021, with the type of quantitative descriptive research collected through documentation techniques and literature studies. The data analysis technique used is contribution analysis. The results of this study show that the main sectors with the largest contribution to the GRDP of Balangan Regency are the mining sector, the agricultural sector, the trade sector and the construction sector.

Abstract

This study examines the low income of entrepreneurs in the Sasirangan fabric industry in Sasirangan Village, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. Although Sasirangan cloth has high aesthetic value and stable demand, especially as a mandatory uniform in South Kalimantan, the craftsmen receive very low wages. This study aims to analyze the effect of capital, labor, and raw materials on the income of Kain Sasirangan entrepreneurs, in order to provide a better understanding and solutions to improve the welfare of craftsmen and the sustainability of this industryThis research was conducted in JI Seberang Mesjid, Central Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan Province. Using SPSS 25 program for multiple Linear regression analysis. According to the findings of this study, capital, labor, and raw materials have a major effect on the income of the Sasirangan Industry in Banjarmasin City. Capital has a favorable and considerable influence on the income of the Sasirangan Industry in Banjarmasin City. Labor has a negative and small effect on the income of the Sasirangan Industry in Banjarmasin City. Raw materials have a favorable but negligible impact on the income of the Sasirangan Industry in Banjarmasin City.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of distance factors, tourist expenditure and income on tourist visits to Alaska Park Tourism in Banjarbaru City. This research uses the accidental sampling method in sampling. Accidental sampling was carried out randomly from visitors to Alaska Park. Data was processed using Multiple Linear Regression analysis. The data source, namely primary data, comes from direct interviews with Alaska Park visitors using a questionnaire that meets the criteria. The research results explain that the variables of distance, tourist expenditure and overall income have a significant effect on tourist visits to rides at Alaska Park Tourism. The magnitude of the effect was 71.3%, and the remaining 29.7% was explained by other factors not included in the study. The factor that has the most dominant influence on tourist visits to rides at Alaska Park Tourism in Banjarbaru City is tourist expenditure.

Abstract

This study aims to simultaneously and partially analyze the effects of education, inflation and minimum wages on employment rates in 11 Indonesian provinces in 2016-2020. The research used is a quantitative approach and uses panel data. The data used comes from the official website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The results of the research show that education, inflation and minimum wages are significant in terms of employment. Furthermore, education has a positive and significant effect, inflation and minimum wages have a negative and insignificant effect on employment in 11 provinces in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Purpose of this research is to find out the mining sector affects economic growth and effects HDI in regencies and cities in South Kalimantan. The variables in this study are the Mining Sector, Agricultural Sector, GRDP Growth, HDI, Regional Revenue, The Average Length of School, and Saldo. This study used panel data regression analysis with FEM. The results show that the Mining Sector has a positive significant effect on GRDP Growth. The Agricultural Sector and the Proportion of Budget Surplus/Deficit to the APBD have a positive not significant effect. Meanwhile, The Average Length of School has a significant negative effect on GRDP growth. The Mining sector has a significant positive effect on HDI, so there are no symptoms of resource curse. The agricultural sector and Regional Revenue have a significant positive effect on HDI. The Proportion of Budget Surplus/Deficit to the APBD has a significant negative effect on HDI.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how business income production and what is the level of tilapia farming business scalein Kusan Hilir District, Tanah Bumbu Regency. By using the Cobb-Douglas model. The respondent of this study were 32 tilapia cultivators. Processing data with analysis revenue and production function analysis using Cobb-Douglas softwere Evies 12. The results of this study indicate tilapia aquaculture business income in Kusan Hilir District, Tanah Bumbu Regency experienced a profit of Rp 79.451.000 with and average profit of Rp 2.482.843. The results of the business scale of tilapia aquaculture production with and elasticity value of 0.802 which means that the value is less than 1 so that the level off business scale tilapia cultivators in Kusan Hilir District, Tanah Bumbu, are at the decreasing return to scale.
