Abstract

The objective of study is to know the student learning achievement based on standards evaluation of curriculum 2013, which has not been implemented, because the teacher has not been able to make the instrument according to the evaluation standards. Based on the curriculum 2013 student learning achievement were measured from three aspects, namely attitude, knowledge, and skills. This research is a qualitative descriptive analysis. The research conducted at SMK N 2 Karanganyar. Source of data for this study is the Teacher Competency Basic Work Stations, students of tenth grade, records or documents, and Ototronik classroom of  SMK N 2 Karanganyar. In collecting data, the researcher used interview, observation, documentation, and testing. The validity of  data using triangulation of data sources and methods. Analysis of the data for this study is the interactive model. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The results of the study evaluated according to curriculum 2013 in either category, with the yield on the aspect of the attitude of 77.4 % with a frequency of 65, 79.8% knowledge aspects with afrequency of 67, and the skill aspect of 100 % with a frequency of 84. (2) The attitude of the students based on indicators that have been set on the attitude of the faithful, polite, honest, disciplined, conscientious, diligent, critical, and care including good category, while being responsible includes the excellent category. (3) Knowledge of students by level of thought process at the level of memory including The excellent category, including the category of good level of understanding, as well as the level of application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation include enough categories. (4) Skills students based on indicators that have been assigned to the indicator using the tool correctly, carry out the work in accordance with the order of tool use, deft in work, neatly in the work, and to implement adequate safety, including the enough category, while the indicator meticulous in their work and the work maximum includes good categories.

Abstract

The purposes of the research are to: (1) know effect of electrolyzer application with varied diameters of copper wire on fuel consumption of Motorcycle Honda Supra-X 125D 2007; (2) know effect of electrolyzer application with varied solutions on fuel consumption of Motorcycle Honda Supra-X 125D 2007; (3) know interaction used electrolyzer application with varied diameters of copper wire and varied solutions fuel consumption of Motorcycle Honda Supra-X 125D 2007. The research is a quantitative one with experimental method. Sample of the research is a motorcycle Honda Supra-X 125D 2007 with machine number JB51E2015321. The research was performed on the road test in 3rd ? 7th km of Prambanan ? Piyungan street, Yogyakarta. Data is obtained from amount of fuel consumption of the motorcycle with addition of an electrolyzer tube containing varied diameters of copper wire and varied solutions. The data is listed on tables and presented in form of graphics, and then, they are analyzed. The results of the research indicated that: (1) there was an effect of electrolyzer application with varied diameters of copper wire and varied solutions on fuel consumption of Motorcycle Honda Supra-X 125D 2007. Results of the tests indicated that greater fuel saving was found with smaller diameter of copper wire; (2) The use of the electrolyzer with varied solutions also affected fuel consumption of Honda Supra-X 125D 2007. Results of tests showed that a greater fuel saving was found with the use of a strong alkali solution than the neutral one; (3) There was interaction of the electrolyzer use with varied diameters of copper wire and varied solutions on fuel consumption of Honda Supra-X 125D 2007. It was seen when the electrolyzer used copper wire of 1.5 mm in diameter and KOH solution, the fuel consumption was more efficient. The fuel consumption was 0.0035 liter/km or 18.81% more economical than standard condition.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate the fuel consumption and exhaust emission of Motorcycle Honda Supra X 125 assembled in 2007 with the use of intake manifold with base material ofpineapple leaf composites. This research used the experimental method. Its sample was Motorcycle Honda Supra X 125 assembled in 2007 with Machine Number: JB51E1951246. The sample of research was taken by using the purposive sampling technique. The data of research were gathered through experimental method. The fuel consumption was measured in a static condition with measuring cup. The testing was done by measuring the time required by the machine to spend fuel in a certain volume at the low, medium, and high machine revolutions. The measurement of exhaust emission of carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbon (HC) used the gas analyzer of Type 898 OTC STARGAS Global Diagnostic, which was conducted according to SNI 09-7118.3-2005 regarding Procedure for Testing Motor Vehicle with L category in idle condition. The data of research were analyzed by using the descriptive comparative technique of analysis. The results of research show that the average fuel consumption in the use of standard intake manifold at the machine revolutions of 1.200 rpm, 2.500 rpm, and 4.000 rpm is 0.088256 ml/second. Meanwhile the average fuel consumption in the use of intake manifold with pineapple leaf fiber composites at the machine revolutions of 1.200 rpm, 2.500 rpm, and 4.000 rpm is 0.072183 ml/second. Thus, the average fuel consumption in the use of intake manifold with pineapple leaf fiber composites decreases up to 20.7%. In addition, the average exhaust emission of CO in the use of standard intake manifold is 1.838%. Meanwhile, the average exhaust emission of CO in the use of intake manifold with pineapple leaf fiber composites is 1.127%. Accordingly, the average exhaust emission of CO in the use of intake manifold with pineapple leaf fiber composites decreases up to 38.7%. Furthermore, the average exhaust emission of HC in the use of standard intake manifold is 1.178 ppm. Meanwhile, the average exhaust emission of HC in the use of intake manifold with pineapple leaf fiber composites is 1.141 ppm. Therefore, the average exhaust emission of HC in the use of intake manifold with pineapple leaf fiber composites decreases up to 3.1%.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: (1) to investigate the ignition timing effect to the fuel consumption of 2007 Supra-X 125 motorcycle, (2) to investigate the input voltage of electrolyzer effect to the fuel consumption of 2007 Supra-X 125 motorcycle, (3) to investigate the interaction between ignition timing and input voltage of electrolyzer to the fuel consumption of 2007 Supra-X 125 motorcycle. This research used experimental method. The sample of this research was 2007 Honda Supra-X 125 with engine number JB81E1108989. Fuel consumption were measured using 8 Km road test on Prambanan-Piyungan street, Yoygyakarta, according to SNI 7554-2010. The data were collected from the motorcycle?s fuel consumption which is designed in variations of input voltage electrolyzer (0 volt, 4 volt, 8 volt, and 12 volt) using standard ignition timing (15O BTDC), early ignition timing (18O BTDC), and late ignition timing (12O BTDC). Two way analysis of variance was used to analyze the data. The result of this research has shown that (1) there were significant effect between the variation of ignition timing to the fuel consumption of 2007 Supra-X 125 motorcycle, (2) there were significant effect between the variation of input voltage electrolyzer to the fuel consumption of 2007 Supra-X 125 motorcycle, (3) there were significant interaction between ignition timing variation and input voltage of electrolyzer variation to the fuel consumption of 2007 Supra-X 125 motorcycle. The lowest fuel consumption was produced at 18 O BTDC ignition timing with 12 Volt input voltage electrolyzer was 13.98 cc/Km.
