Abstract

ABSTRACT The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly influenced teaching and learning practices in schools. However, empirical studies examining teacher readiness to integrate AI within value-based and integrated learning models remain limited, particularly in Islamic integrated secondary schools. This study aims to analyze the readiness of general subject teachers at SMPIT Ummul Quro to integrate AI into Integrated ADLX learning, which emphasizes meaningful activities, discussion, practice, and ethical reflection. A quantitative descriptive research design was employed involving 33 general subject teachers as respondents. Data were collected using a validated questionnaire covering four dimensions of teacher readiness: technological competence, pedagogical readiness, ethical awareness, and institutional support. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques to obtain a comprehensive overview of teachers’ readiness levels. The results indicate that teachers’ readiness to integrate AI into Integrated ADLX learning is at a moderate level. Teachers demonstrate positive attitudes and relatively high ethical awareness regarding the use of AI in educational contexts. However, their technological competence and pedagogical application of AI remain limited, particularly in designing learning activities that effectively utilize AI to support instructional objectives. In addition, institutional support in the form of structured training programs and clear operational policies for AI integration has not been fully optimized. These findings suggest that effective AI integration in learning does not rely solely on teachers’ acceptance and ethical awareness but also requires systematic professional development and sustained institutional support. This study contributes empirical evidence to the discourse on AI integration in integrated Islamic secondary education and provides practical implications for school leaders in developing teacher capacity-building programs that align technological innovation with pedagogical effectiveness and ethical values.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a catalyst in the transformation of the strategic function of Human Resource Management (HRM) at PT Cisarua Mountain Dairy, an entity in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. The research background moves from the imperative of digital transformation that drives the evolution of MSDM from a conventional administrative model to a data-driven and predictive paradigm. Using a qualitative approach and instrumental case study design, this study explores the implementation dimensions, operational-strategic impacts, and complexity of challenges in the adoption of AI technology in the HR domain. Data collection was conducted through triangulation of methods, including semi-structured interviews with key informants (HR management, recruitment practitioners, and technologists), non-participant observations, as well as analysis of policy documents and internal digital artifacts. The research findings identify two main domains of AI adoption: (1) optimization of the talent acquisition process through algorithm-based screening and candidate matching systems, and (2) the development of people analytics systems for predictive modeling related to employee retention and development planning. The implementation has an impact on improving process efficiency, reducing bias in selection, and more precise analytical capacity. However, this study also reveals the existence of a significant implementation gap, which is represented by challenges in the form of organizational cultural resistance to automation, digital literacy gap, and ethical dilemmas around data privacy, algorithmic transparency), and accountability of decision-making by machines. This study makes a conceptual contribution by offering a contextual perspective on the transformation of digital HR in a large-scale national enterprise environment, as well as practical implications for the formulation of smart technology integration roadmaps and policies in talent management practices

Abstract

Lecturer innovation is a strategic factor in improving the quality of learning, research productivity, and competitiveness of higher education institutions in the era of digital transformation. However, empirical studies on the determinants of lecturer innovation are still scattered and have not been comprehensively integrated. This study aims to systematically synthesize international literature on the role of information technology (IT) literacy, self-efficacy, achievement motivation, and knowledge management in enhancing lecturer innovation. The study used a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Articles were obtained from the Scopus database for the period 2010–2025. After going through the processes of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion, a total of 46 empirical articles were analyzed thematically. The results of the study indicate that IT literacy increases the capacity for digital pedagogical innovation; self-efficacy strengthens the courage to experiment and adapt to change; achievement motivation encourages innovative performance orientation; while knowledge management acts as an institutional reinforcement that integrates individual innovation into the organizational system. This study produces an integrative conceptual framework that positions knowledge management as a structural enabler and psychological factors as proximal drivers of lecturer innovation. These findings provide theoretical contributions and strategic implications for the development of higher education policies based on sustainable innovation.

Abstract

Teacher performance is a key determinant of educational quality and learning effectiveness across various global educational contexts. Although numerous studies have examined the factors influencing teacher performance, empirical synthesis focused on the integration of transformational leadership, professional competence, and self-efficacy in recent years remains limited. This study aims to synthesize and analyze the latest empirical findings on strategies for improving teacher performance through these three variables. This study employed the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) approach. Articles were obtained from Scopus, Web of Science, and ERIC databases, published between 2020 and 2025. Based on the identification, screening, and eligibility evaluation processes according to inclusion and exclusion criteria, 30 empirical articles were selected and analyzed in depth. The synthesis results indicate that transformational leadership consistently has a positive effect on teacher performance, both directly and through increased motivation and professional commitment. Professional competence has been shown to be a significant predictor of learning quality, instructional effectiveness, and student learning outcomes. Meanwhile, self-efficacy emerged as a key psychological factor that strengthens teachers' resilience, pedagogical innovation, and adaptability to changes in the educational environment. The integration of findings yielded a multidimensional conceptual model that positions transformational leadership as a structural factor, professional competence as a capability factor, and self-efficacy as a psychological factor that interact to improve teacher performance. This study provides theoretical contributions through the consolidation of current empirical evidence and practical implications for the development of evidence-based school leadership policies and teacher capacity-building programs.

Abstract

This study examines the role of educational management in strengthening administrative effectiveness in early childhood education (ECE) institutions. While previous studies have often treated educational management as a linear predictor of institutional outcomes, this study adopts a governance perspective to better understand how management practices operate within context-specific conditions. Focusing on ECE institutions in Indragiri Hilir Regency, Indonesia, this research also considers the role of community-based actors, particularly Bunda PAUD, as part of localized educational governance. A quantitative approach was employed using a simple linear regression model. Data were collected from 40 respondents, including school principals and teachers selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire measuring early childhood education management and administrative effectiveness. Data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, regression analysis, t-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The findings indicate that early childhood education management has a positive and statistically significant effect on administrative effectiveness (β = 0.672; p < 0.05), with a coefficient of determination of 0.64. This suggests that management practices account for 64% of the variance in administrative effectiveness. However, both variables were found to be at a moderate level, indicating that management practices and administrative systems are not yet fully optimized. The results also highlight that administrative effectiveness is influenced not only by management but also by contextual factors such as infrastructure, institutional capacity, and stakeholder involvement. This study contributes to the literature by rethinking educational management as a dynamic and context-sensitive process while integrating a governance perspective that emphasizes the role of localized community actors. The findings provide practical implications for strengthening managerial capacity, enhancing stakeholder collaboration, and improving administrative systems in early childhood education.

Abstract

Objective – This study aims to analyze the influence of the use of fintech technology, namely equity crowdfunding (ECF) and peer-to-peer lending (P2P), on investment funding decisions and their implications for market risk ( Value at Risk / VaR) in digital startups in Indonesia. Methods – The study employed a mixed methods approach with a predominantly quantitative design. The sample consisted of 178 Indonesian digital startups registered with the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo) and AFTECH, selected using purposive sampling . Primary data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire, while secondary data consisted of financial reports and fintech transactions for 12 months. VaR was calculated using the Historical Simulation method (CI 95%). Data analysis used PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 4.0, supplemented by semi-structured interviews for triangulation. Results – All five hypotheses were significantly accepted (p < 0.01). Equity crowdfunding (β=0.348) and P2P lending (β=0.427) positively influenced investment funding decisions, with P2P having a greater influence due to its liquidity speed and working capital flexibility. Investment funding decisions further positively influenced VaR (β=0.521). Startups using a combination of ECF and P2P had the highest VaR (8.15% of total assets), while those using ECF alone had the lowest (4.28%). These findings confirm a trade-off between funding accessibility through fintech and market risk stability. The study also extends pecking order theory in the context of digital startups and provides practical implications for startups, fintech platforms , and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) regulator
