Abstract

Learning media in general is a tool in the learning process. With the rapid development of the times, learning media has also evolved from conventional learning media to digital learning media. Conventional learning often experiences obstacles such as difficulties in understanding. This design stems from these problems and the lack of availability of learning media/resources in schools. This media design aims to produce learning media, namely hypercontent module teaching materials for science and science subjects with magnetic material. Electricity and technology class V elementary school. In this design, the development model used in media development is the alessi and trolllip model which consists of 3 stages, namely planning, design and development. This digital-based media allows students to get richer learning output than conventional learning media. Students can view photos, learning videos, animations and simulations which can be done online. This Hypercontent Science Module teaching material can help students in the learning process in Class V Elementary School Science subjects, increase students' learning experience and make it easier for teachers during the learning process

Abstract

In discussions about education, early childhood education has become a primary focus. The question is, when is the ideal time to begin this education? While many believe that education starts after a child enters school or preschool, research indicates that education actually begins during pregnancy. Al-Qur’an, as the guiding principle for Muslims, emphasizes the importance of early education. Therefore, studying Al-Qur’an is an obligation for every Muslim. This study focuses on early childhood education based on the Surah Maryam (Chapter of Mary) in the commentary by Imam Al-Qurthubi. The research method employed is a literature review using primary data from Al-Qurthubi’s Tafsir. The findings reveal that early childhood education, according to Al-Qurthubi, particularly in Surah Maryam verse 12, centers around Al-Qur’an education. Memorizing and practicing Al-Qur’an are integral parts of this education. Al-Qur’an education should ideally commence during early childhood, around the ages of 2-3 years. At this stage, it is crucial to introduce children to the oneness of Allah (Tawhid) and teach them the fundamental declaration of faith (Kalimat Tauhid). This research provides fresh insights into early childhood education within Islam. By studying Al-Qur’an from an early age, it is hoped that children will grow into individuals who are faithful and possess noble character.

Abstract

The implementation of the independent curriculum through differentiated learning is a recommended strategy to be applied in learning in primary schools, because learning with this strategy refers to the needs and abilities of diverse learners. However, in its application, teachers must be able and precise in determining the appropriate teaching tools. Moreover, learning with the content of science literacy is an important thing to convey to students in the 21st century. So, this study aims to provide a literature review on the development of teaching media with science literacy content as a form of implementing differentiated learning in elementary schools. The literature review method was used to collect primary data from written sources such as journals, reports and other documents. The results of the study explain that the application of differentiated learning can be done after determining the suitability that refers to the needs and abilities of students. Based on this, the development of science literacy teaching media is a form of differentiated learning. The development of teaching media is needed because differentiated learning requires appropriate teaching media. So, it is important for teachers to continue to develop competence and be able to mature in implementing differentiated learning. It is hoped that the results of this literature review can provide a better understanding of the application of differentiated learning and improve students' science literacy competencies, especially for primary school teachers in the context of implementing an independent curriculum and fostering the character of students who can be competitive in the global world.
