Abstract

Coffee Suppliers is a business that sells items made from coffee beans to other businesses that sell processed coffee. This firm operates on a B2B model. Coffee Suppliers' current issues include the manual recording of all inventory items and sales transactions on paper, which increases the likelihood of data reporting inaccuracies. The prototyping approach, which is a step in constructing a system with the outcomes of analysis being directly applied using a model without having to complete the entire system, is utilized in this web development. Before designing UML diagrams and building databases, the initial build identifies user requirements. To create the necessary web, the system is created using the CodeIgniter framework. It is anticipated that the construction of a web-based system will assist Coffee Suppliers in managing their business, particularly in sales, listing, and reporting, thereby lowering the possibility of data.

Abstract

Playing a role The popular game genre known as "RPG" employs a pathfinding algorithm in its operation. The process of discovering a path from one place to another is called pathfinding. Pathfinding algorithms come in a variety of forms and are varyingly efficient. One of these methods is the A-star algorithm, which is frequently used in different games to determine routes and has actually been evaluated for efficiency. An additional algorithm to consider is the dynamic pathfinding algorithm, which is quite tiny for reference and not well-known. Combining these two techniques can result in an algorithm that avoids both static and dynamic barriers in addition to finding the fastest path. The two algorithms will be combined in this research, and two static and dynamic obstacle scenarios will be used for testing. According to the study's findings, the combination of these two algorithms enables the algorithm to avoid both static and dynamic obstacles. However, it should be noted that in the event of a dynamic obstacle, the Non-Player Character (NPC) will need to travel 3.04 seconds longer to reach their destination because they will need to find an alternate route.

Abstract

A vehicle insurance company is grappling with a critical issue amid its efforts to integrate information technology into its operations. The problem revolves around the absence of documented procedures related to IT service management and infrastructure resources, impacting various operational facets, including business processes, staff management, applications, infrastructure, facilities, and vendor relationships. To address these concerns, the company has taken measures, including identification, analysis, control, and mitigation of IT-related risks. However, these measures have proven insufficient for optimal risk management, prompting the need for a comprehensive evaluation of their IT risk management capabilities. This assessment focuses on evaluating the implementation of IT risk management using a qualitative approach within the COBIT 5 framework. Specifically, it assesses the company's performance in two closely related processes: APO 12 (Manage Risk) for identifying IT-related risks and DSS 05 (Manage Security Services) for understanding the role of information security and monitoring security aspects. The assessment results indicate that the company's IT risk management capability is at level 3 (Established) for both processes. However, the company aspires to reach level 4 (Predictable) and improve their risk management. Furthermore, a critical discovery is the absence of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to data encryption, which is vital for information security. While some monitoring methods for information security service design have been effective, there is a need for enhanced data security through the development of encryption-related SOPs. The company plans to implement improvements based on COBIT 5 framework recommendations to achieve a higher level of risk management capability. These enhancements aim to better align IT-related risk management with the company's business objectives and improve the overall effectiveness of the processes.

Abstract

Ground-based solar radiation measurements help solar energy projects and applications. Various models have been developed to estimate solar radiation. Then, several additional models were created using improved machine learning. Currently, estimating solar radiation with the help of hybrid models is more efficient. In this research, the basic concepts of modeling procedures for hybrid between the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) and the Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) are used to improve the performance of the ARIMA and MLP models in estimating solar radiation data from a pyranometer sensor installed on the automatic weather station (AWS) at Stasiun Klimatologi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.  The test results of the estimation model based on the coefficient of determination (R2) value and root mean square error (RMSE) show that the ARIMA model can provide a high coefficient of determination value in each data splitting scenario. The MLP estimation model shows a coefficient of determination value that is lower than the ARIMA model. On the other hand, MLP is able to improve the RMSE value in the ARIMA model in 70:30 and 90:10 splitting data. Furthermore, the ARIMA-MLP hybrid estimation model is able to improve the RMSE value of the ARIMA and MLP models even though the coefficient of determination value is not as good as the ARIMA model. This research shows that the ARIMA-MLP hybrid model is able to contribute to increasing the accuracy value in RMSE compared to the ARIMA and MLP models in estimating solar radiation sensor data.
