Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs for educational media that can enhance students' learning through mixed reality education using industrial control techniques. There are thirty research subjects at Politeknik Bosowa Makassar. This research is an R&D study using the SAVAR (Substitution, Augmentation, Virtual Learning, Apply and Re-evaluation) model. Mixed reality is a technology of unity Augmented reality and virtual reality. The results of this research are an analysis of the execution of the project and a study of the student's characteristics.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education is a learning process that requires self-direction and self-management from students. The objectives of this study are (1) to determine student learning outcomes after using the Creative and Entrepreneurship Project Learning Module, and (2) to assess the improvement in student learning outcomes. This research is experimental in nature, employing a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design with one class utilizing the learning modules, administering a pretest at the beginning and a posttest at the end of the learning period. The subjects of this study were 35 students from class XI of Online Business Marketing at SMK 1 Bone Regency, selected through purposive sampling. The data analysis focused on the effectiveness of the learning module using the n-gain score test. The results indicated that (1) the learning outcomes of students in the field trials exhibited a very high category learning tendency with a percentage of 42.86%, and (2) the n-gain score in the experimental class was 0.48, suggesting a moderate improvement in learning outcomes. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of Creative and Entrepreneurship Project Learning Modules based on Local Potential is more effective than previously used products.

Abstract

This research aims to present a diversified Career Path Progression (CPP) model that enhances the competence of Makassar Aviation Polytechnic students by helping them recognize their own abilities. The diversified self-assessment model includes various indicators applied to students. Makassar Aviation Polytechnic students require work experience, English proficiency, computer skills, and other soft skills to excel in the workforce, beyond their academic degrees. However, the institution has not optimally provided these skills, such as computer training, English proficiency, academic writing, and job interview processes, which are essential for the job market. Consequently, the career center's role at Makassar Aviation Polytechnic is crucial for offering additional training to prepare students for the workforce. This research addresses the shortcomings of existing CPP models, such as the absence of talent mapping to identify actual talents and competencies. The new CPP model, detailed comprehensively in the research framework, includes stages like problem identification, model design, pilot testing, revision, and operational trials. The study's results indicate that the CPP model positively affects the career maturity of cadets at Makassar Aviation Polytechnic, measured through attitudes and competencies. Alumni with better understanding and skills in these areas tend to have more job opportunities.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology and the complexity of electrical energy systems necessitate innovative educational approaches in electrical engineering. This study presents a Project-Based Learning (PJBL) model tailored for the Electrical Energy Conversion course, designed to enhance students' understanding and practical skills through real-world projects mirroring industry practices. The model's key components include interdisciplinary projects, collaborative learning environments, and iterative feedback mechanisms. The initial implementation with electrical engineering students involved surveys, interviews, and performance assessments, demonstrating significant improvements in student engagement, comprehension of course material, and overall academic performance. The findings suggest that the PJBL model is an effective pedagogical strategy for teaching complex subjects like electrical energy conversion. Further research is recommended to refine the model and explore its applicability across different courses and educational contexts.
