Abstract

PT.Arista Auto Lestari Ringrood Branch is an automotive company located in Medan City. Currently, the increasing number of mechanics employed by automotive companies makes the diversity of mechanics increasingly complex, making it difficult to choose the best mechanic. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a decision support system as an alternative solution, so that it can increase efficiency and effectiveness in selection and improve quality in determining the best mechanic. The decision support system for determining the best mechanic uses the SAW (simple additive weighting) method based on predetermined criteria and weights. The criteria used as indicators are Discipline, Initiative, Achievement, Cooperation, Order, Performance and social. The SAW (simple additive weighting) method was chosen because it is able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives. This research was carried out by looking for the weight of each attribute, then ranking was carried out to determine the best mechanic. The results of this research are in the form of a decision support application, which can recommend the best mechanic at PT Arista Auto Lestari Ringrood Branch.

Abstract

The organizers of the National Science Olympiad (OSN) aim to find talent, interest and learn to compete, increase knowledge in the field of science which is carried out once a year. The process of selecting prospective OSN participants who pass the selection is not an easy thing because the school has to select one student at a time. So that a decision support system for selecting prospective OSN participants is needed using the Weighted Product WP method to efficiently select prospective OSN participants. To select students who will take part in OSN using the Weighted Product WP and Rank Order Centroid ROC methods, use the criteria for subject scores (containing 6 subject matter) or those related to subject matter in OSN, academic achievement, OSN experience. The results obtained with the WP and ROC methods the school can efficiently recommend prospective participants who will take part in OSN because there is no need to select students one by one. . In this study, the highest ranking results were given to Alternative 2 named Bagas with a value of 0.261.

Abstract

With the rise of schools conducting computer-based exams, many web-based exam applications have sprung up and can be used free of charge, especially at SMK Alwashliyah Pasar Senen 2 Medan. However, the weakness of the computer-based exam is that there is no security for questions that are stored in the database, of course the questions are confidential data and must be safe. Therefore we need a database security technique to keep the question secret, whether an attack occurs or not. The technique used is cryptographic encryption techniques. This study encrypts the database of computer-based exam questions with the Spritz algorithm. In securing the database of exam questions using cryptographic techniques, the meaning of the questions in the database cannot be understood, so that in the event of an attack, the questions cannot be read and understood by the attacking party, thereby eliminating the level of cheating during the exam. The encryption process is carried out when the admin inputs a question on the admin exam web interface. Meanwhile, the decryption stage is carried out when students carry out a computer-based exam. Based on the manual encryption process on the sample database with the plaintext "Inventor", a new character value is obtained which is called the ciphertext, namely rz¸ñjJ.

Abstract

This research aims to implement the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method in the Decision Support System (SPK) for honorary teacher performance assessment. Problems in assessing the performance of honorary teachers are the main focus of this research. The aim is to create a more objective and structured SPK, which is able to provide a more accurate assessment of the performance of honorary teachers. In this research, honorary teacher performance data was collected from various sources, such as observation results, assessments from school principals, and evaluations from colleagues. The data is then processed using the TOPSIS method to give weight to each assessment criterion, which includes aspects of knowledge, teaching skills, discipline and the teacher's contribution to student progress. The research results show that the implementation of the TOPSIS method in the SPK for honorary teacher performance assessment has been successful. The developed SPK can provide more objective and consistent recommendations in assessing the performance of honorary teachers. This helps school principals and other authorities in making decisions regarding promotions, awards or training required by honorary teachers. By using the TOPSIS method, the performance assessment of honorary teachers becomes more structured and objective. This has the potential to increase transparency and accountability in the honorary teacher performance assessment process. The results of this research provide an important contribution to the development of a better performance assessment system for honorary teachers, which will ultimately have a positive impact on the quality of education at various levels. The results obtained were obtained by A1 with a value of 0.9038 as the highest value.

Abstract

Violence against women is an act that results in physical, sexual or psychological harm or suffering to women, including threats of certain actions, coercion or arbitrary deprivation of liberty, whether occurring in public or in private life. The problems that have occurred to the POLDASU in handling the criminal legal process for violence against women are handled by the Head of the PPA 1 (Women and Children Protection) by collecting the identity of the perpetrator of violence, the identity of the victim, and the identity of the witness, evidence, and scene design according to the facts. the cause of the violence, as well as the handling of the autopsy and post-mortem that will be applied. So far, the Head of the PPA 1 (Women and Children Protection) has to conduct an in-depth investigation of the data related to the occurrence of violence against women and it takes a long time, so that the criminal legal process that will be imposed must also be adjusted to the violence that occurs against women. Thus, the application of data mining in the criminal law process against perpetrators of violence against women is very necessary to assist the Kanit PPA 1 (Women and Children Protection) in adjusting the types of acts of violence against women against the criminal law that will be given. The author uses the C4.5 algorithm in the application of data on criminal law processes with violence that occurs against women.
