Abstract

This research aims to analyze the accuracy of meaning in Arabic dictionaries by comparing digital dictionaries and printed dictionaries. The method used is qualitative analysis of selected word definitions from both types of dictionaries, obtained from journal sources and articles published between 2020 and the present. The results of the analysis show that printed dictionaries have a higher level of congruence in meaning and more complete definitions, often accompanied by examples of usage in sentences that help contextual understanding. On the other hand, digital dictionaries tend to provide shorter and less in-depth definitions. Although digital dictionaries offer ease of access and faster updates, they still face challenges in providing contextual and accurate definitions. The recommendation for users is to utilize both types of dictionaries as complementary tools, with digital dictionaries for quick searches and print dictionaries for deeper and more accurate understanding, especially in academic and professional contexts.

Abstract

This systematic literature review examines innovative teaching strategies and technological integrations in Arabic language education, focusing on studies published between 2016 - 2025 from databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus and DOAJ. The findings highlight the effectiveness of methods like the Silent Way, elaboration strategies, thematic instruction, language immersion and the Direct Method in enhancing learners' vocabulary, reading and speaking skills. Additionally, the integration of digital technologies including e-learning platforms, mobile applications and AI-driven tools has been shown to boost learner motivation, engagement, and personalized learning outcomes. successful implementation depends on factors such as teacher readiness, infrastructure availability, and cultural adaptability, especially for non-native speakers. The study underscores the importance of comprehensive professional development and culturally responsive pedagogical frameworks to optimize the effectiveness of these innovations in Arabic language education.

Abstract

Arabic, as part of classical intellectual heritage, continues to show dynamic development, especially within the context of contemporary education that is increasingly integrated with digital technology. This research aims to analyze the utilization of social media platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, as effective and relevant media for Arabic language learning in the digital era. This study, using a descriptive qualitative approach based on a literature review, explores the effectiveness of various platforms in improving students' language proficiency. Findings indicate that YouTube plays a significant role in developing listening skills and understanding language structures through systematic and varied educational video content. Facebook supports the creation of a collaborative learning ecosystem and strengthens writing and discussion skills in Arabic. Instagram is considered capable of introducing basic vocabulary and expressions visually through images and interactive features such as Stories, reels and live broadcasts. Meanwhile, TikTok presents a learning approach that is short, engaging, and contextual, thereby increasing students' enthusiasm and motivation to learn. However, there are several obstacles hindering the optimization of social media in learning, including low digital literacy, unequal access to technology, the dominance of non-educational content, and a lack of selection of appropriate learning materials. Therefore, enhancing educators' digital capacity, selecting content that supports pedagogical goals, and designing adaptive learning strategies are key factors in making social media a relevant, creative, and contextual tool for Arabic language learning in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the transformation of Arabic language education in the digital era using library research with a qualitative approach. A review of contemporary literature dealing with educational models and educational strategies supported by technology, such as e-learning, mobile applications, and interactive learning platforms. The results of the study revealed that the integration of digital technology in Arabic language teaching contributes to enhancing interaction and learners motivation, providing a personalized and flexible learning opportunity that transcends the boundaries of time and space. However, this transformation requires teachers to have technical and pedagogical qualifications and the development of high-quality educational content aligned with learners characteristics and needs. The research recommends designing clear technology-based educational strategies. It also suggests adopting modern pedagogical models to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of Arabic language education in light of the rapid digital changes.

Abstract

The digital era demands educational innovation, with interactive multimedia emerging as a modern instructional solution. Interactive multimedia integrates text, audio, video, animations, and interactive elements to create dynamic, engaging, and effective learning experiences. This article examines the role of interactive multimedia in addressing the limitations of conventional teaching materials, such as low student engagement, difficulties in understanding abstract concepts, and limited access to learning resources. Through a literature review approach, this study explores the benefits of interactive multimedia, including enhanced learning motivation, deeper conceptual understanding, and flexibility for self-paced learning. It also discusses implementation challenges, such as infrastructure gaps, teacher competency, and the need for high-quality content development. The analysis demonstrates that interactive multimedia not only improves learning outcomes but also prepares students for 21st-century digital literacy demands. The article concludes that adopting interactive multimedia as modern instructional materials is a strategic step toward creating inclusive, adaptive, and student-centered learning in the digital age. Recommendations include teacher training, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and curriculum-aligned content development.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of Student-Centered Learning (SCL) and Collaborative Learning (CL) in the context of Arabic language education. As educational paradigms shift from traditional teacher-centered approaches to more interactive and learner-driven methods, the need to understand and apply SCL and CL becomes increasingly relevant. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, this research reviews literature and educational practices that demonstrate how these two strategies contribute to improving learner engagement, autonomy, communication skills, and critical thinking in Arabic classrooms. The findings indicate that integrating SCL and CL not only enhances the effectiveness of Arabic language acquisition but also encourages active participation and cooperative problem-solving among students. However, challenges such as classroom management and unequal student involvement require careful planning and teacher facilitation. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of these approaches in modern language pedagogy and provides recommendations for future research and classroom implementation.

Abstract

Abstract The teacher plays an important role in teaching the Arabic language, especially in Madiun, East Java, in helping elementary and middle school students master their language competencies, particularly in speaking skills. However, a phenomenon has emerged in the form of linguistic difficulties or speech errors committed by the teachers. This research aims to uncover the linguistic errors found among Arabic language teachers. Data were collected through videos and interviews, and analyzed using Corder’s model, which consists of five steps: data collection, error classification, explanation of error causes, identification of error sources, and error evaluation. The results of this study indicate that phonological errors, such as incorrect sound articulation, affect local pronunciation. In terms of grammar, there are distinctions related to gender (masculine or feminine). The mother tongue (interference), such as Javanese or Indonesian, also has a strong influence on pronunciation and sentence structure used by the teachers, which causes interference that leads to incomplete Arabic pronunciation and sentence structure. Keywords: Error analysist, speaking skill, Arabic teachers
