In this study, we focus on Keer course of Abdul Qahir al-Jurjani in the themes of Farid Wajdi and consider the importance of these thoughts in recent studies on the Arabic language and literature. While Al-Jurjani established a rhetorical theory, focusing on links between structure and meaning of individual sentences, Farid Wajdi presented a linguistic method, ground on social and cultural approaches. This study employs a library research approach in a qualitative research model. The findings show Al-Jurjani made significant contributions to understanding the aesthetics of language through his theories on structure and meaning, which form the foundation of balaghah. At the same time, Farid Wajdi advocated a broader view of Arabic linguistics that brought together language and society in a new paradigmatic dialectology and sociolinguistics. The theoretization provided by the work of these two heralds exceedingly augmented the field of the Arabic language and literature along with forming methodological basis for the fields of Qur'anic exegesis, literary criticism.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the challenges and opportunities of the translate method in teaching Arabic in the era of digital technology. This study uses a literature study approach by analyzing literature that discusses the integration of technology in language education. The results of the study show that the translate method remains relevant if adjusted to technological developments with digital media, such as learning applications, visual aids, and audiovisual media. This media allows the learning process to be more interactive, contextual, and interesting for students. However, the study also reveals a major challenge that must be overcome, namely the need for training for students and teachers in evaluating automatic translation results. It is important to ensure that technology is used as a tool that complements a deep understanding of the text, not just replaces it. Teaching Arabic with the translate method in the digital era requires innovation to maintain its effectiveness and relevance in facing the needs of modern learning. The integration of technology in the teaching of the translate method must be done wisely to overcome the limitations of traditional methods while maximizing the opportunities offered by the digital era. This study provides practical recommendations to develop Arabic teaching approaches that are responsive to the needs of the times. With the right adaptation, the translate method can be an effective tool to improve students' ability to understand Arabic texts, as well as create a more meaningful, innovative, and relevant learning experience in the era of digital technology.

Abstract

This research explains the application of generative transformation theory in modern linguistic contexts, especially in Arabic. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, and this study highlights the concept of Noam Chomsky's theory, which divides language into external and internal structures, as well as competence and performance. This theory is not only relevant in analyzing the structure of language in the abstract, but also supports a deep understanding of the dynamics of changing the meaning of a language. Factors that affect the change in meaning include socio-cultural development, technological advancement, differences in fields of use and differences intergenerational. The Research shows that this theory is significant in improving the effectiveness of Arabic language learning, especially in compiling a structured linguistic-based curriculum and utilizing modern technology. Through this approach, the challenges of learning Arabic in the digital era can be overcome with more relevant innovations, opening up new opportunities for the development of interactive and student-based learning methods.
