Abstract

Transportation involves the movement of goods or people from one place to another and plays a crucial role in daily human activities. Online motorcycle taxis (ojek online) have become a modern transportation option, using motorized vehicles to fulfill requests for passenger or goods transport efficiently. This study explores the emergence of ojek online services at Serang City train station, an area previously dominated by traditional human-powered rickshaws. The research examines the timeline of their introduction and their socioeconomic impact on traditional rickshaw drivers and base motorcycle taxi drivers. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, involving direct and indirect interviews, data collection, observation, and in-depth interviews to gather insights. The findings highlight several challenges caused by the operation of ojek online, including reduced income for traditional rickshaw and base motorcycle taxi drivers, the rise of unemployment, increased competition among transportation providers, and heightened traffic congestion around the station. These results emphasize the need for better management of transportation systems to balance modernization and the well-being of affected communities.

Abstract

The development of religious understanding today is highly diverse, ranging from moderate to radical, and is easily accessible to people of all ages. In this context, religious moderation emerges as a crucial principle that encompasses a balanced, peaceful, tolerant, and compassionate approach to religious practice. Instilling these values from an early age is essential, particularly through religious education institutions such as madrasah diniyah. Teachers play a central role in the learning process, both in conveying theoretical knowledge and in shaping practical religious behavior. Therefore, their understanding of religious moderation is essential to ensure that these values are effectively transmitted to students, fostering a generation that is both religious and courteous. This study aims to analyze madrasah diniyah teachers’ comprehension of religious moderation and how they apply these values in teaching and learning activities. A descriptive qualitative research method was employed, involving all madrasah diniyah teachers in Medono Village. Data were collected through interviews and observations conducted with teachers from five local madrasas and were analyzed using established indicators of religious moderation. The findings indicate that madrasah diniyah teachers in Medono Village possess a strong understanding of religious moderation and are capable of integrating its principles into their teaching practices. This study highlights the critical role of religious education institutions in shaping moderate religious perspectives and emphasizes the importance of equipping educators with adequate knowledge and skills to promote religious moderation effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze managerial decision-making in improving product quality in the krupuk kulit rambak (buffalo skin crackers) industry in Kendal. The research focuses on four key indicators: objectives, identification of alternatives, unforeseen factors, and the need for tools to measure achieved outcomes. This study employs a qualitative descriptive research design, conducted at a buffalo skin cracker industry in Kendal. The study involves five informants, comprising one primary informant (manager), two key informants (employees), and two additional informants (consumers). Data collection methods include in-depth interviews and observations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the managerial decision-making process. The findings reveal that the managerial decision-making process prioritizes stocking buffalo skin as the primary alternative to enhance product quality. This approach addresses the critical issue of raw material availability, which significantly impacts product performance and quality. By increasing the stock of buffalo skin, the company seeks to optimize production efficiency and maintain consistent quality standards. Furthermore, the decision-making process considers external factors, such as fluctuating raw material supply and consumer demand, as part of the strategic planning framework. This study contributes to the understanding of managerial decision-making in small-scale industries, emphasizing the importance of raw material management in improving product quality. The findings suggest that effective managerial decisions are essential for enhancing competitiveness and ensuring the sustainability of traditional food industries. The research highlights the need for structured decision-making frameworks that consider both internal and external factors in quality improvement strategies.

Abstract

The implementation of Sharia economics should not be solely focused on banking activities. Sharia economic systems are designed to benefit the broader economy, including family financial management. This concept aligns with the principles of various religions, particularly Islam, which is regarded as a blessing for all creation. This community service program aims to promote the application of Sharia economics in family financial management as an effort to improve household financial planning. The program draws lessons from mothers participating in learning activities held in the Belo village community forum (majelis). The program focuses on educating participants about Sharia-compliant financial principles, including budgeting, saving, debt management, and ethical spending. Through interactive sessions and discussions, the program seeks to raise awareness about the importance of incorporating Sharia values into daily financial practices. Participants are encouraged to adopt these principles to ensure financial discipline and align household financial management with Islamic teachings. The results of the program reveal a strong enthusiasm among participants to implement Sharia-compliant family financial planning. Many expressed a desire to immediately adopt these practices, reflecting a growing awareness of the importance of ethical financial management for household well-being. This initiative demonstrates that promoting Sharia economics at the household level can foster better financial planning and improve economic resilience in the community. It highlights the potential of community-based education programs to enhance financial literacy and support the broader adoption of Sharia economic principles in daily life.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has significantly impacted various sectors, particularly Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which have experienced a sharp decline in sales revenue. The economic disruptions caused by the pandemic have posed challenges for MSME actors, necessitating adaptive strategies to sustain their businesses. This study aims to analyze the impact of Covid-19 on MSMEs and explore digital marketing strategies as a potential solution to mitigate revenue losses. The research employs a qualitative approach using secondary data collected from scientific journal articles, official documents, and other relevant sources. The findings indicate that the pandemic has led to reduced consumer purchasing power, supply chain disruptions, and business operational limitations, thereby affecting MSME profitability. However, digital marketing emerges as an effective strategy for business resilience by enabling broader market reach, cost efficiency, and enhanced customer engagement. The study highlights key digital marketing strategies, including social media marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and e commerce adoption, which have proven beneficial in helping MSMEs adapt to the changing market dynamics. The results suggest that digital transformation is crucial for MSME sustainability, especially during crisis periods. This study contributes to the literature on MSME survival strategies and provides practical insights for policymakers and business practitioners in fostering digital adoption. Further research is recommended to explore the long-term impact of digital marketing on MSME performance post-pandemic.
