Abstract

Penjadwalan keberangkatan bus merupakan salah satu hal yang penting dalam pengelolaan perusahaan otobus untuk menekan biaya operasional. Masalah penjadwalan ini diformulasikan sebagai suatu model linear integer programming. Model ini bertujuan untuk mengatur banyaknya bus yang akan diberangkatkan dari masing-masing kota untuk memenuhi permintaan transportasi. Strategi yang digunakan untuk mengatur penjadwalan bus yaitu strategi deadheading. Strategi deadheading merupakan strategi penjadwalan bus yang dilakukan apabila terjadi ketidakseimbangan akan banyaknya penumpang di suatu kota dan adanya keterbatasan bus yang beroperasi. Model penjadwalan dengan deadheading ini merupakan salah satu upaya untuk menurunkan frekuensi keberangkatan bus sehingga dapat meningkatkan efisiensi biaya operasional.

Abstract

It is well-known that in control theory the stability region of continuous- time system is laid in the left half plane of complex space, while that of discrete-time system is dwelled inside a unit circle. The former fact might be shown by exploiting the Laplace transform and the later by utilizing the corresponding zeta transform. In this paper we revealed the connectivity of both regions by employing M¨obius transform. We also used the same transform to derive continuous/discrete-time counterpart of several existing results, including Bode integral and Poisson-Jensen formula. We then demonstrated their unification property by using delta transform. Some numerical examples were provided to verify our results.

Abstract

Peramalan merupakan kegiatan memprediksi nilai suatu variabel di masa yang akan datang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memprediksi jumlah mahasiswa baru Institut Pertanian Bogor dengan menggunakan metode fuzzy time series dan metode pemulusan eksponensial ganda dari Holt serta membandingkan kedua metode tersebut dengan cara melihat tingkat ketepatan peramalan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). Metode fuzzy time series menggunakan himpunan fuzzy dalam proses peramalannya sedangkan metode pemulusan eksponensial ganda dari Holt menggunakan pemulusan nilai dari serentetan data dengan cara menguranginya secara eksponensial. Dalam meramalkan jumlah mahasiswa baru Institut Pertanian Bogor, metode fuzzy time series menghasilkan tingkat ketepatan peramalan yang lebih baik dengan nilai MAPE sebesar 6.41 % dibandingkan dengan metode pemulusan eksponensial ganda dari Holt dengan nilai MAPE sebesar 7.75 %. Setelah dilakukan studi kasus, metode pemulusan eksponensial ganda dari Holt akan lebih akurat hasil peramalannya jika data yang digunakan lebih banyak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui besar dan perilaku bias dalam pendugaan koefisien korelasi dua variabel berskala ordinal (kategori) dengan berbagai jumlah kategori dan sample. Informasi ini sangat penting mengingat sebagian besar penelitian sosial yang berbasis survey lazim mengumpulkan data berskala ordinal dengan berbagai jumlah kategori.  Ini dilakukan dengan alasan kemudahan dalam pengukuran karakteristik objek amatan. Masalah muncul manakala data dianalisis dengan pendekatan parametrik yang mensyaratkan datanya berskala ratio atau kontinu, akibatnya timbul bias dugaan. Korelasi Pearson digunakan sebagai basis analisis untuk mengetahui besar bias dugaan  yang dihitung dengan kaidah Mean Absolut Percentage Error (MAPE).  Disimpulkan bahwa, semakin banyak jumlah kategori maupun sample data, maka besarmya bias akan semakin mengecil.  Penurunan bias akan semakin cepat bila jumlah kategori semakin membesar.  Manfaat dari hasil ini adalah, data dengan 5 kategori merupakan pilihan ideal untuk digunakan dalam mengukur karakteristik amatan berskala ordinal, karena besarnya bias dugaan yang timbul masih dapat ditolerir. Dalam penerapannya 5 pilihan jawaban masih relatif mudah bagi responden dalam memilihnya.

Abstract

Up till now, models of demography mathematics usually use discrete approximation. This research will use continue approximation agree with demography characteristic that always change every times.  The Maximum Likelihood method is chosen by using five distributions. There are two data that use i.e. hypothetic data and life table data of Banten. The result of hypothetic data shows that if we choose real distribution, it will produce the good value of 2 R , whereas with survival data of Banten. The result shows that Weibull distribution is the best from another distributions. Keywords: survival function, maximum likelihood method.

Dalam teori ring ada berbagai macam klas dari ring yang merupakan akibat dari diberikannya aksioma-aksioma baru.  Di antara klas-klas ring tersebut, dikenal adanya  ring Exchange dan ring QB. Dalam tulisan ini  akan  dibahas  syarat yang harus dipenuhi agar ada keterkaitan antara ring Exchange dan ring QB.
