Abstract

Traffic accidents are incidents that often lead to serious consequences, such as fatalities or property damage. A key factor influencing these accidents is vehicle speed. Despite some reductions, the death toll from traffic accidents remains high. Vehicle speed, in particular, has been identified as a primary factor exacerbating the risk and severity of accidents. Therefore, controlling vehicle speed is crucial for reducing accident rates.A vehicle speed detection system utilizing deep learning technology, such as the You Only Look Once (YOLO) model, provides an effective solution for analyzing and monitoring vehicle speed in real-time. This technology enables rapid and accurate vehicle detection, along with efficient speed data processing. By leveraging cameras to record video, the system offers essential information for law enforcement and accident prevention. The real-world implementation of this system will enhance traffic safety by delivering relevant and accurate information to authorities. The use of YOLO technology in this system allows for more effective vehicle speed monitoring and prompt decision-making to prevent accidents. Consequently, this system contributes to reducing accident risks and improving road safety.

Abstract

With the rapid development of science and technology, especially in the modern era like now, technological developments are influenced by the high demand for technology to support daily activities. For modern society, as it is now, the role of technology and information systems that are accurate, effective and efficient to facilitate carrying out activities will be very much needed both in business, social or educational activities. In social activities, it is hoped that technology can help speed up the community in obtaining precise and accurate information so that it makes it easier for people to carry out their daily activities smoothly. Information is very important for a good social life so that there will be no more disinformation that can harm society. As an example here the author takes the case of disinformation that is often experienced by public transport users in the Bojonggambir District area, there are many public transport users experiencing disinformation because of the limited information they get when they want to use public transportation either as passengers or as a means of sending goods. . Losses due to disinformation above can be overcome by utilizing information technology such as a microcontroller by using the NodeMCU ESP8266 as a real-time information link device by utilizing the internet network as an information link.   The results of this study indicate that the existence of technology will greatly assist in social sustainability so that the problems that exist in people's lives, especially in social life, the authors hope that the existence of a public transport information system in the Bojonggambir sub-district based on IoT (Internet of Things) will be very helpful in carrying out community activities, especially those who use public transportation in carrying out their daily activities

Abstract

The use of social media in Indonesia is not only for entertainment but also as a means of education. YouTube, as one of the most popular sites in the world, is used for learning including TOEFL exam preparation. Tasikmalaya University of Struggle students often have difficulty choosing appropriate learning resources among the many English learning channels such as Andrian Permadi, Yanto Tanjung, and Rumah Smart English. This research aims to overcome this problem by analyzing the sentiment of YouTube users' comments on these channels using the Support Vector Machine method. The research stages include collecting comment data, data preprocessing, data labeling, and training the Support Vector Machine model for sentiment analysis. The research results show that the Yanto Tanjung channel got the highest accuracy score of 84%, making it the best choice for TOEFL preparation. The Andrian Permadi channel achieved 80% accuracy, and the Rumah Smart English channel achieved 75% accuracy. The contribution of this research is to provide recommendations based on sentiment analysis to help students choose appropriate YouTube channels for learning English, thereby maximizing their preparation for the TOEFL exam.

Abstract

The use of technology in payment systems has influenced changes in payment patterns. BTH Resto, as one of the canteens in the BTH Tasikmalaya University environment, experiences challenges in managing electronic payments because it does not yet have a special E-payment for the Resto. This study aims to develop E-payment using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) based on the website at BTH Resto to improve efficiency and practicality. Electronic payment design using USB RFID Reader technology consists of several stages starting from the problem analysis stage, system design, Flowchart and system implementation. The digital payment system using RFID is able to overcome the increasing demand for digital payments, as well as separate the restaurant transaction history from employee personal data. Based on the tests conducted, the results obtained that the USB RFID Reader can be used as an electronic payment tool. With the adoption of this technology, the speed of service, reducing queues, and updating the payment system.

Abstract

Soil plays an important role in human life. In agriculture, the choice of soil type can determine the success rate of farming. Some soil parameters that need to be studied are temperature, moisture and pH, because these three parameters have a very important role in plant fertility. Conduct a literature review to understand existing IoT technologies, available pH sensors, pH level monitoring systems, and related research in ornamental plants. Design the overall system, including the selection of the pH sensor, humidity sensor, and IoT platform to be used. Plants are plants that are nurtured and cared for to benefit or harvested when they reach a certain time. Plants are very useful to fulfill human needs.Soil fertility is the ability of soil to provide nutrients, water and oxygen in a balanced state for plants. Soil reaction indicates the acidity or alkalinity of the soil expressed by the pH value. The purpose of developing this tool may be to assist ornamental plant owners in managing the environmental conditions of their plants more efficiently and accurately. By using IoT-based tools, it is expected to provide convenience in monitoring and controlling environmental factors that affect the growth and health of ornamental plants.
