Abstract

Traffic accidents are incidents that often lead to serious consequences, such as fatalities or property damage. A key factor influencing these accidents is vehicle speed. Despite some reductions, the death toll from traffic accidents remains high. Vehicle speed, in particular, has been identified as a primary factor exacerbating the risk and severity of accidents. Therefore, controlling vehicle speed is crucial for reducing accident rates.A vehicle speed detection system utilizing deep learning technology, such as the You Only Look Once (YOLO) model, provides an effective solution for analyzing and monitoring vehicle speed in real-time. This technology enables rapid and accurate vehicle detection, along with efficient speed data processing. By leveraging cameras to record video, the system offers essential information for law enforcement and accident prevention. The real-world implementation of this system will enhance traffic safety by delivering relevant and accurate information to authorities. The use of YOLO technology in this system allows for more effective vehicle speed monitoring and prompt decision-making to prevent accidents. Consequently, this system contributes to reducing accident risks and improving road safety.

Abstract

With the rapid development of science and technology, especially in the modern era like now, technological developments are influenced by the high demand for technology to support daily activities. For modern society, as it is now, the role of technology and information systems that are accurate, effective and efficient to facilitate carrying out activities will be very much needed both in business, social or educational activities. In social activities, it is hoped that technology can help speed up the community in obtaining precise and accurate information so that it makes it easier for people to carry out their daily activities smoothly. Information is very important for a good social life so that there will be no more disinformation that can harm society. As an example here the author takes the case of disinformation that is often experienced by public transport users in the Bojonggambir District area, there are many public transport users experiencing disinformation because of the limited information they get when they want to use public transportation either as passengers or as a means of sending goods. . Losses due to disinformation above can be overcome by utilizing information technology such as a microcontroller by using the NodeMCU ESP8266 as a real-time information link device by utilizing the internet network as an information link.   The results of this study indicate that the existence of technology will greatly assist in social sustainability so that the problems that exist in people's lives, especially in social life, the authors hope that the existence of a public transport information system in the Bojonggambir sub-district based on IoT (Internet of Things) will be very helpful in carrying out community activities, especially those who use public transportation in carrying out their daily activities

Abstract

The use of social media in Indonesia is not only for entertainment but also as a means of education. YouTube, as one of the most popular sites in the world, is used for learning including TOEFL exam preparation. Tasikmalaya University of Struggle students often have difficulty choosing appropriate learning resources among the many English learning channels such as Andrian Permadi, Yanto Tanjung, and Rumah Smart English. This research aims to overcome this problem by analyzing the sentiment of YouTube users' comments on these channels using the Support Vector Machine method. The research stages include collecting comment data, data preprocessing, data labeling, and training the Support Vector Machine model for sentiment analysis. The research results show that the Yanto Tanjung channel got the highest accuracy score of 84%, making it the best choice for TOEFL preparation. The Andrian Permadi channel achieved 80% accuracy, and the Rumah Smart English channel achieved 75% accuracy. The contribution of this research is to provide recommendations based on sentiment analysis to help students choose appropriate YouTube channels for learning English, thereby maximizing their preparation for the TOEFL exam.

Abstract

The use of technology in payment systems has influenced changes in payment patterns. BTH Resto, as one of the canteens in the BTH Tasikmalaya University environment, experiences challenges in managing electronic payments because it does not yet have a special E-payment for the Resto. This study aims to develop E-payment using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) based on the website at BTH Resto to improve efficiency and practicality. Electronic payment design using USB RFID Reader technology consists of several stages starting from the problem analysis stage, system design, Flowchart and system implementation. The digital payment system using RFID is able to overcome the increasing demand for digital payments, as well as separate the restaurant transaction history from employee personal data. Based on the tests conducted, the results obtained that the USB RFID Reader can be used as an electronic payment tool. With the adoption of this technology, the speed of service, reducing queues, and updating the payment system.

Abstract

Soil plays an important role in human life. In agriculture, the choice of soil type can determine the success rate of farming. Some soil parameters that need to be studied are temperature, moisture and pH, because these three parameters have a very important role in plant fertility. Conduct a literature review to understand existing IoT technologies, available pH sensors, pH level monitoring systems, and related research in ornamental plants. Design the overall system, including the selection of the pH sensor, humidity sensor, and IoT platform to be used. Plants are plants that are nurtured and cared for to benefit or harvested when they reach a certain time. Plants are very useful to fulfill human needs.Soil fertility is the ability of soil to provide nutrients, water and oxygen in a balanced state for plants. Soil reaction indicates the acidity or alkalinity of the soil expressed by the pH value. The purpose of developing this tool may be to assist ornamental plant owners in managing the environmental conditions of their plants more efficiently and accurately. By using IoT-based tools, it is expected to provide convenience in monitoring and controlling environmental factors that affect the growth and health of ornamental plants.

Abstract

System expert diagnosis disease goat this web- based designed For help breeders in identify goat disease​ in a way more fast and accurate.Using Certainty Factor method , system This can determine level certainty of diagnosis based on symptoms inputted by the user and provide diagnostic results and level certainty in form percentage . Research This covers design in implementation system , start from collection of disease and symptom data goat until testing system use Black Box method . Testing show that system functioning in accordance with specifications set and capable​ give results accurate diagnosis . Manual and system test results to a number of test cases show consistent Certainty Factor value , with accuracy system by 96.67% of the system This prove its potential as reliable solution​ For increase efficiency and effectiveness diagnosis disease goat , giving benefit significant for breeders in maintaining livestock health they .

Abstract

Asterisk is one of the most popular and versatile open-source VoIP platforms. This research aims to design and implement Asterisk-based VoIP server services using a top down method approach. The top down approach starts from planning and designing the entire system before proceeding to the detailed implementation stage. The first step involves identifying the organization's communication needs and determining the technical specifications required to meet those needs. Next, hardware and software selection, network topology, and basic configuration of the Asterisk server are carried out. After the system architecture is determined, the implementation stage is carried out by installing and configuring the Asterisk server according to the design that has been created. The configuration process includes setting up communication protocols, setting extensions, system testing is carried out to ensure that all functions run well and meet user needs. The results of this research show that the top down method is effective in building Asterisk-based VoIP server services that are reliable and suit organizational needs. The system built is capable of providing good sound quality and ease of management. Asterisk-based VoIP implementations also offer significant cost savings compared to traditional telecommunications systems.

Abstract

This study aims to address the stress problem often experienced by final year students, especially in the process of completing their final assignments or theses. The researchers designed an expert system application to help students identify their stress levels and provide appropriate management solutions. Using the Dempster-Shafer theory as the basis for calculating the confidence value, this application was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method and built as a web-based system using PHP and MySQL. The test results showed a stress diagnosis accuracy of 94%, which is categorized as "Very Good" based on the Mean Opinion Score (MOS). Suggestions for further development include exploring alternative methods such as confidence factors and Bayes' theorem, as well as developing a mobile-based application to increase accessibility. This application is expected to be an effective solution in overcoming stress-related challenges faced by final year students during the process of completing their final assignments.

Abstract

In order to carry out learning activities, students need supporting tools such as laptops and others, with the aim of facilitating these learning activities. On the other hand, the campus provides the necessary facilities and tools, and can be borrowed with the provisions of the applicable regulations, so the activity of borrowing goods often occurs between students and the campus. In the ongoing lending system, many problems are found because everything is still completely manual, which results in frequent data loss, and misunderstandings. To overcome this, the author creates a system that will facilitate the activity of borrowing goods to be more efficient, by creating an android-based application that can store data into the database so that the data is stored safely.

Abstract

Piranti Teknik Indonesia is engaged in manufacturing which produces wiring harnesses for motorcycles and others. This company is one of the companies that joined the Banshu Group or known as Banshu Electric Indonesia. PT. Piranti Teknik Indonesia is one that uses a computerized but simple payroll system, but in the salary complaint system it is still done manually, so the data processing is experiencing obstacles. If this problem is allowed to continue it will result in the work system being less effective. So we need a system that is able to provide convenience in managing salary data efficiently. For this reason, the author will design an android-based information system that will facilitate the process of complaining about salary data by using a computerized system and data base as storage media, so that data will not be lost or damaged. With the construction of an Information System, the payroll process will no longer be hampered, because this system is designed to build a work system that is more effective, fast and accurate. If this research is successful, it will produce a system that is able to help provide convenience for both parties, so that it can be expected that later it will simplify and speed up the service process, data storage and, as well as the restatement of the data.
