Abstract

The development of the Indonesian economy is influenced by government policies, especially policies in the fiscal and monetary sectors, namely those concerning government spending, both routine and development expenditures, the money supply and also tax policies. The type of data used in this research is secondary data in the form of quarterly time series data for the period 2015 to 2022. The data source is obtained from publications of official state institutions such as Bank Indonesia (BI) and the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The independent variables in this study are variables related to monetary policy transmission, namely Interest Rates (IR), Exchange Rates (NT), Money Supply (JUB), and Inflation (INF). While the dependent variable is economic growth (GDP at market prices). The analytical method used in this study is the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) method assisted by E-views 10. The results show that inflation, the exchange rate and the BI Rate have a positive and significant effect on economic growth, while the money supply has no significant effect on economic growth. The short-term results show that inflation and the exchange rate have a positive and significant effect on economic growth, while the money supply and the BI Rate have no significant effect on economic growth in Indonesia for the 2015-2022 period.

Abstract

The large population of Indonesia's Muslim community and many people who have accessed the internet as much as 62.10 percent are used by many beauty companies in marketing and selling products using beauty influencer marketing strategies. Data from the State of Global Economic Report 2021-2022 in the field of medicines and cosmetics, Indonesia is ranked ninth. This is in accordance with Indonesia's commitment to become the center of the sharia economy in 2024, which now Indonesia is ranked fourth in the world. Therefore, the production of local Indonesian products must be increased. Somethinc is a local brand that is currently popular in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the influence of Beauty Influencers, Lifestyle, and Halal Labels on purchasing decisions for Cushion Somethinc products. This study uses a quantitative method using a Likert scale. The sample for this study were students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Syiah Kuala University who used the Cushion Somethinc product. A total of 110 respondents were taken through a proposive sampling using the Hair formula. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that Beauty Influencers, Lifestyle, and Halal Labels have a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase cushion Somethinc products..

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to analyze the potential of green investment strategies in the context of the Islamic economy as a sustainable and viable solution to face the challenges of the global recession. The research methods used include an in-depth literature review of Islamic economic concepts, the principles of green investment, and their impact on the environment and economy. The study also involves an analysis of green investment instruments that conform to Islamic economic principles, such as green sukuk and investment in renewable energy. The data and information collected are analyzed qualitatively to understand the implications of implementing green investment strategies in the context of Islamic economics. The results of this study show that green investment strategies in the Islamic economy have great potential to generate positive impacts on the environment and economy. Islamic economics can promote sustainability, social justice, and environmental responsibility by using green investment instruments such as green sukuk and investment in renewable energy. In addition, the implementation of green investment strategies in the Islamic economy can also be a sustainable solution to overcome the challenges of the global recession.

Abstract

Zakat, Infaq and Sadaqah (ZIS) is an instrument of Islamic philanthropy that has an important role in society and can encourage economic growth through income redistribution and reduction of social inequality in Indonesia. For a Muslim, it is obligatory to pay zakat, while spending money on infaq and alms is sunnah. ZIS funds are expected to be channeled to the poor who need (mustahik) to improve their welfare in order to achieve economic growth of the Indonesian people. The period in this study is ZIS and Economic Growth in Indonesia 2002-2019. This research uses the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method. This type of research is quantitative research with data analysis techniques using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method and data processing using the Eviews 10 application. The results showed that Zakat, Infaq, and Alms (ZIS) in the long run had an effect on Economic Growth in Indonesia that expected to be a policy for the government in managing ZIS funds.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the market's reaction to the announcement of the merger of three state-owned Islamic banks against Islamic banking and conventional banking stocks as measured by abnormal returns and trading volume activity. The method used in this study uses an event study with quantitative proximity. To see the abnormal returns, use a market model with an estimated period of 60 days and an event period of 10 days before and 10 days after the announcement of the merger of three state-owned Islamic banks. To determine the sample, purposive sampling was used and 17 stock samples were obtained consisting of 3 samples of sharia stocks and 14 samples of conventional stocks. The analysis technique used in this study used a one-sample t-test and a paired sample t-test if the data were distributed normally. If there is data that is not normally distributed, the analysis technique used is the one sample wilcoxon signed r test .

Abstract

This research aims to find out the role of halal centers in boosting the halal economy in the Indonesian halal industrial sector. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Descriptive qualitative research is research that examines several sources. Where the research sources used are several sources such as books, scientific journals, encyclopedias, literature, works of scientists, as well as government agency websites that are related to this research. The object of research in this research is writing or text related to the current development of the Indonesian halal industry. The results of this research show that the role of the halal center is very influential on the development process of the halal industry in Indonesia. Where it can be seen that in 2020 the total number of halal certification registrations was 11,103 and in 2023 the total number of halal certification registrations was 155,451. Then in data from The State of the Global Islamic Economy Report 2022, Indonesia managed to rank 4th in the world with halal product consumer coverage amounting to 11.34% of global halal expenditure.

Abstract

The development of e-commerce has had an impact on cash payment methods based on banknotes, cards, now introduced with a new payment system based electronic. PayLater is an online credit payment. Shopee is one of the platforms that offers PayLater. Using shopeepay Later is one of the triggers for impulse buying behavior. The aim of this study to measure the effect of ease, benefits and risks of using Shopeepay Later on the impulse buying behavior of Islamic Banking Study Program students at the Faculty Islamic Economics and Business Uin Syahada Padangsidempuan semester 3. This research using the multiple regression analysis method with the Statistical Package for program Social Science (SPSS) version 24.0. The results of this research are partial convenience has no significant effect on the impulse buying variable. Benefit has no influence on the impulse buying variable. Risk has influence on the impulse buying variable. Simultaneously convenience, benefits and risks significant effect on impulse buying behavior.

Abstract

This research explores the intersection of participatory and social financing within the framework of Islamic Moral Economy (IME). The study delves into the nature of participatory and collaborative Islamic finance instruments and their alignment with the principles of IME. It also investigates the concept of Islamic social finance and its relationship with the idea of welfare in the context of IME. The paper further examines contemporary approaches to institutional adaptation in Islamic finance, focusing on how these approaches integrate participatory and social financing principles. Qualitative methodology by employing a rigorous literature review and in-depth analysis is utilzed to gain insights into the practices and implementations of Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia. The findings shed light on the significance of transparency, fairness, and social responsibility in Islamic financial practices and their potential for promoting financial inclusion and socio-economic welfare in accordance with Islamic teachings. This study offers valuable perspectives for policymakers and practitioners seeking to develop ethical and community-centered financial models within the framework of Islamic Moral Economy.

Abstract

The purpose study to determine development sharia banking financing for SMEs during covid-19 pandemic. Then to find role sharia banking recover SMEs during covid-19 pandemic. Type research used library research, data source used secondary data, which has published institutions processed researchers and from various pre-existing sources. Data analysis technique used research descriptive qualitative, describing development financing sharia banking and role of sharia banking for recovery SMEs during covid-19 pandemic. Results showed development of financing in sharia banking was distributed SMEs during covid-19 pandemic experienced decrease amount of financing. Largest decline in financing occurred in BPRS financing for SMEs, which experienced decline of 14.88 percent, BUS financing investment SMEs decrease 14.17 percent, and UUS financing decrease 13.47 percent. Role sharia banking recovery SMEs during covid-19 pandemic is increasing portion financing SMEs, assisting them players as partners, sharia banking can provide payment, increasing number financing profit-sharing schemes more appropriate for financing SMEs.

Abstract

This study covers all Islamic commercial banks registered with the Financial Services Authority from 2015 to 2018. The population of the study includes all Islamic commercial banks registered with the Financial Services Authority from 2015 to 2018. Factors influenced by the capital suitability ratio, capital suitability ratio, return on assets ratio, and capital suitability ratio. The purposive sampling method was used in the sampling technique. 9 companies were obtained based on predetermined criteria. Secondary data used came from the Financial Services Authority website and each Islamic commercial bank. Panel data logical regression analysis was used. The results showed that Capital proxied by CAR, Management proxied by NPM, and Earnings proxied by ROA had a positive effect on Profit Growth, while Asset Quality proxied by NPF and Liquidity proxied by FDR had no effect on Profit Growth.
