Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged the increasing need for photography and videography equipment among beginners, students, content creators, and freelance videographers. However, the high price of camera equipment often becomes an obstacle for users who want to produce quality visual content. This study aimed to design and develop a web-based camera rental application called RENTCAM using the Prototype method. The system was developed using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap. The Prototype method was chosen because it allows direct interaction between developers and users during the system development process. The website provides several features including login and registration, camera data management, shopping cart, transaction management, WhatsApp-based communication, and report printing. Black Box Testing was conducted on 11 main features to evaluate the functionality of the system. The quantitative testing results showed a 100% success rate for all tested system functionalities, proving that all core modules operate smoothly and meet the user's operational requirements without any errors.

Abstract

Administrative activities at Srikandi Laundry previously relied on separate manual records for customer information, service transactions, operational expenses, and financial reporting. This approach often increased processing time, made data retrieval less practical, and complicated the preparation of operational reports. To overcome these challenges, an integrated web-based information system was designed to support the operational activities of the laundry business. The application combines customer data management, regular and package laundry transaction processing, expense recording, invoice generation, and report preparation within a single platform, enabling business processes to be carried out more efficiently. The software development followed the Waterfall approach, beginning with requirement analysis, followed by system design, implementation, and functional evaluation. The application was implemented using PHP and MySQL, while the system design employed Use Case Diagrams, Flowcharts, and an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). System functionality was evaluated through Black Box Testing on the main features of the application. All test scenarios produced the expected outputs, resulting in a functional success rate of 100%. The implementation indicates that the system simplifies administrative tasks, improves transaction recording accuracy, accelerates data retrieval, and supports daily operational activities at Srikandi Laundry.

Abstract

The continuous advancement of information technology is driving businesses to continually improve the quality of their services, including in the laundry service industry. Fresh Clean Laundry still faces several challenges in its manual data management processes, such as difficulties in recording transactions, searching for customer data, managing payments, and generating reports. This study aims to develop a PHP Native-based laundry service management website that can help improve service effectiveness and efficiency. The system development method used is the Waterfall model of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which consists of the requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, and maintenance stages. The system was built using the PHP Native programming language. System testing employed the Black Box Testing method across 5 modules with 12 scenarios. Based on the test results, all features achieved a valid status with a 100% success rate, indicating that the system is ready for use. The research findings indicate that the developed website is capable of supporting the integrated management of customer data, laundry transactions, payments, and services. System testing conducted on each key feature shows that all functions are operating in accordance with the specified requirements. With this system in place, data management processes have become faster, more accurate, and better organized, thereby improving the quality of service at Fresh Clean Laundry.

Abstract

Campus physical bulletin boards have gradually diminished in their effectiveness due to limited information dissemination, lengthy manual updates, and a lack of a structured way to archive content. This research details the creation of a digital bulletin board website for campuses, which utilizes PHP Native and MySQL, and consists of four main operational modules: an admin login system safeguarded against brute-force attacks, a public interface that features automatic filtering for outdated content and protection against SQL Injection, a content management module for administrators that includes upload checks and management of publication dates, and a super-admin data management module that reinforces access control based on user roles. The development of the system adhered to the Waterfall methodology. Black Box Testing was conducted across 23 scenarios spanning all modules by using the Equivalence Partitioning method, resulting in a complete success rate (all 23 scenarios were successful). These findings confirm that PHP Native serves as a robust and secure platform for constructing a multi-tiered digital information system for campuses.
