Abstract

Purpose of this study to obtain empirical evidence and find the clarity of the phenomenon as well asconclusions about entrepreneurial orientation, market orientation and learning orientation on the ability toinnovate and its impact on business performance This thesis is expected to contribute to the development ofmanagement science, especially about the entrepreneurial orientation, market orientation and learningorientation on the ability to innovate and its impact on business performanceThe study uses descriptive and verification method that is collecting, presenting, analyzing, and testinghypotheses, and make hypotheses and make conclusions conclusions and suggestions by means of SEM analysisFrom the analysis of research data, obtained some conclusions and suggestions are: 1) entrepreneurialorientation effect on learning orientation, 2) Market orientation effect on learning orientation, 3) Theorientation of the learning effect on the ability to innovate 4) The orientation of the learning effect on the abilityto innovate, strengthen the influence of learning orientation between the entrepreneurial orientation of theability to innovate, 5)The ability to innovate to strengthen the influence of entrepreneurial orientation tobusiness performance, 6) Ability to innovate influence on business performance , 7) Market orientation did notaffect the business performance

Abstract

Previous studies by Trisnawati et al ( 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010) show the existence of wagedifferentials between male and female auditors. In most cases, female auditors receive lower wage as comparedto male auditors. Analysis used is basic model wages discrimination ( Oaxaca-wages decomposition model).Continously, basic model had been using widely with another decomposition techniques. They are Oaxaca 1,Oaxaca 2, Reimers, Cotton dan Neumark models (Trisnawati et al., 2007,2008, 2010) and the results showedconsistently that discrimination is most important factor which cause wages differentials between female andmale auditors. They have consistent results with auditor profession ini England (Rhoda, 1998) Australia(Wilson, 2003), New Zealand (Helewa , 2005), and Canada (Flo Hamrick, 2007).The most weakness from OAXACA wages decomposition model had been using by Trisnawati et al.(2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010), is determining the discrimination coefficient from unexplained variable. Theresidual value has to compute separately from the discrimination value. So, it should be done comprehensivemethod to heal the weakness of decomposition model. The model will use quantile regression with combinationby bootstrap technique. This model done by Mochado and Matta (2007), Melly (2008) by computing wagesdiscrimination among private and public employee in Germany.The main objectives of this study are to identifythe factors that determine gender wage level and gender wage differentials among auditors profession andexamine the existence of discrimination by quantile regression method with bootstrap technique

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kendala-kendala potensial dalam penerapan Total QualityService (TQS) pada Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) di Kota Yogyakarta. Responden dalam penelitian iniadalah seluruh pejabat rumah sakit yang dianggap mampu untuk mengevaluasi kendala potensial dalampenerapan TQS. Teknik samplin dalam penelitian ini menggunkan teknik sensus atau sampling jenuh. Metodeanalisis data menggunakan analisis rata-rata (mean). Jika mean suatu faktor lebih besar dari 3 berarti faktortersebut merupakan kendala potensial penerapan TQS, sedangkan jika mean suatu faktor kurang dari 3 berartifaktor tersebut bukan merupakan kendala potensial penerapan TQS.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa faktor yang menjadi kendala potensial penerapan TQS di RSUDKota Yogyakarta hanya ada satu yaitu faktor infrastruktur karena nilai mean lebih besar 3. Sedangkan faktoryang lain yaitu faktor pekerja dan budaya, faktor manajerial dan faktor organisasional bukan merupakan kendalakarena nilai mean kurang dari 3. Penilaian secara keseluruhan penerapan TQS pada RSUD Kota Yogyakartasebesar mean 2,63 yang artinya bahwa secara umum keseluruhan faktor pada RSUD Kota Yogyakarta tidakmenghadapi kendala potensial dalam penerapan TQS.
