Abstract

Food security in Indonesia faces various challenges, including climate change, population growth, and potential social disasters such as conflict or unequal food distribution. The utilization of the Internet of Things (IoT) is an alternative solution to support national food security. This paper aims to examine the role of IoT in improving agricultural efficiency to prevent crises and social disasters due to food scarcity. The method used is a literature study from various relevant sources. The results show that IoT can assist in land monitoring, automatic irrigation, weather prediction, and pest and disease detection. This technology increases productivity and makes food distribution more equitable. In conclusion, the implementation of IoT in the agricultural sector has the potential to prevent the impact of social disasters by strengthening food security through a smarter system.

Abstract

In a time of swift technological progress, traditional learning methods are transitioning to more engaging and interactive digital formats. The early years of life represent a vital phase in human growth, which makes the selection of effective teaching strategies essential for fostering lasting learning achievements. This research seeks to investigate the application of Virtual Reality (VR) technology as a pedagogical resource to boost digital skills and involvement among preschool-aged children. The approach taken comprises a review of existing literature paired with initial observations utilizing a basic 3D VR educational game model. Preliminary findings suggest that the incorporation of VR can enhance children's concentration, creativity, and involvement in their educational experience. The research concludes that Virtual Reality has the potential to serve as a groundbreaking option for reshaping early childhood education, particularly in the presentation of visual and hands-on learning resources. This research supports the progress toward Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 and 9.

Abstract

This research uses the literature study method to examine the utilization of Virtual Reality (VR) technology as an interactive learning media on solar system material in the context of the Education 5.0 era. Data were collected from Google Scholar and SINTA database with a focus on scientific journals and proceedings in the last five years. The literature selection process was carried out through abstract analysis, methods, and conclusions to ensure the relevance and accuracy of the information. The results of the study show that VR is able to present three-dimensional visualizations that are immersive and interactive, thus increasing the engagement and effectiveness of learning solar system material significantly compared to conventional methods. The use of VR as a modern educational solution not only facilitates understanding of complex concepts, but also increases student motivation and learning experience. The implementation of VR in learning solar system material requires the support of special devices such as devices with gyroscope features or VR boxes to be optimally used in an adaptive and innovative educational environment. Keywords: Virtual Reality, Interactive Learning Media, Solar System Material, 5.0 Education, Learning Effectiveness.

Abstract

Customer expenditure prediction is a crucial aspect of financial data analysis, helping banking institutions better understand consumer behavior. This study compares the performance of two machine learning algorithms, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) and Decision Tree, in predicting customer expenditures. The dataset used consists of 2,567 transaction records from a single customer at Bank BCA. The performance of both models is evaluated using three key metrics: Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Squared Error (MSE), and Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE). The results show that the KNN algorithm outperforms the Decision Tree by producing lower prediction errors across all evaluation metrics, making it more effective for this predictive task.

Abstract

serve as the primary foundations for maintaining public trust in non-profit organizations. However, Yayasan Gerakan Nasional Orang Tua Asuh (GNOTA) currently faces significant challenges in managing fund receipts due to a manual donation verification process that necessitates the uploading of transfer proofs and visual reconciliation. This mechanism is deemed inefficient and vulnerable to recording errors (human error), manipulation risks, and confirmation delays. Consequently, this study aims to modernize this workflow by designing an automated payment verification system integrated with a third-party Payment Gateway, Xendit. The research utilizes a UML approach, encompassing Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, and Class Diagrams, to visualize the system architecture. The design results demonstrate that the proposed solution, which adopts the STP concept utilizing Virtual Account features, Dynamic QRIS, and Webhook technology, successfully transforms the transaction model into a "select-pay-complete" flow and updates payment status in real-time without manual intervention. In conclusion, the integration of this automated system proves effective in streamlining verification bureaucracy, ensuring financial data validity, and providing an instant donation experience, which is expected to enhance operational cost efficiency and strengthen Yayasan GNOTA's credibility in the digital economy era.
