Abstract

Aril o'rnini bosuvchi karbamatlar turli darajada biologik faollikni namoyon qiluvchi birikmalarning katta sinfidir. Ariluriyalarning katta guruhi sitokininga o'xshash faollikka ega. Sitokininlar o'simlik o'sishi va rivojlanishining barcha bosqichlarida muhim rol o'ynaydigan fitogormonlar guruhiga kiruvchi past molekulyar og'irlikdagi biologik faol birikmalardir. Ular, shuningdek, hayvonlar hujayralariga qarshi faollikka ega: bir qator saraton kasalliklariga nisbatan o'rganilayotgan sitotoksik ta'sir va kosmetologiyada qo'llaniladigan antioksidant faollik egadir. Ushbu turdagi birikmalarni nisbatan sodda usullar bilan olish mumkin va ularda bir qator funktsional guruhlarning mavjudligi biologik faollik uchun o'rganish juda istiqbolli bo'lgan mavjud hosilalar doirasini sezilarli darajada kengaytirish imkonini beradi [1]. Taxmin qilish mumkinki, sintetik sitokininga o'xshash ariluretanlar, biologik xossalari bo'yicha tabiiy adenin tipidagi sitokininlarga o'xshash, ammo sintetik jihatdan qulayroq birikmalar bo'lib, hayvonlar hujayralariga nisbatan xuddi shunday faollikni namoyon qilishi mumkin. Masalan, sitokininga o'xshash preparat etilendikarbamid (EDU) (1-rasm) sitokinin faolligi bilan birga o'simliklarni ozon ta'siridan himoya qiladi, barglarning tushish jarayonlarini sekinlashtiradi. Xuddi shunday antioksidant ta'sirlar hayvonlar hujayralarida ham kuzatiladi.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the perception of female students of the polytechnic of Ibadan, Oyo State, towards cervical cancer and preventive. A cross-sectional study design was used to determine the above objective. The survey included 429 female students who lived on the Polytechnic Ibadan campus. A systematic sampling technique was used to choose 210 rooms out of a total of 420 rooms, and all of the selected rooms' occupants were questioned under the premise that there were two people in each room. Data were gathered using a self-administered questionnaire that had been pretested. Respondents with one or more risk factors were classified as being at a higher risk for cervical cancer and those with no risk factors as being at a lower risk. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and Chi square test at p<0.05. Mean age of respondents was 24.2±3.7 years. More than half (60.3%) had good knowledge about cervical cancer and 55.1% had a good perception of cervical cancer. The identified risk factors were sexual debut before the age of 18 years (25.1%) multiple sexual partnering (11.6%), unprotected sexual intercourse (59.2%) and positive family history of cervical cancer (2.2%). Majority of the respondents (96.9%) were at a higher risk for developing cervical cancer. Few respondents (8.0%) had ever heard of the pap smear test and the major sources of information were the internet (33.3%) and hospital (25%). The uptake of pap smear test was low (1.8%). Majority of the respondents (71.9%) were not aware of where the pap smear test could be done. Only 4.7% were willing to receive the human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccine, while 5.1% were willing to do a pap smear test. The major reasons cited for not wanting to do the pap smear test was lack of perceived need for the test (13.4%) and financial constraint (1.5%). Respondents who were 25 years and below and single were more likely to have a good perception of cervical cancer. Those aged <30 years (OR 1.39, 95% CI 0.34-5.66), single (OR 1.07, 95% CI 0.45-2.50), those from faculty of science (OR 1.22, 95% CI 0.57-2.58) and those that had low risk score (OR 2.66, 95% CI 0.54-12.98) were likely to have a good perception of cervical cancer. Even though respondents had a fair amount of awareness about cervical cancer, they nevertheless exhibited significant behavioral risk factors for the condition. The pap smear test had very poor awareness and uptake. Therefore, it is necessary to develop health communication initiatives that would motivate tertiary students to apply their learning to prevent cervical cancer

Abstract

The article presents a review of scientific literature, clinical observations, containing data on the features of neurological manifestations and mental disorders, complications from the nervous system in a new coronavirus infection, illustrated with clinical examples. Neurological manifestations are not leading in the clinic for diseases caused by coronaviruses. However, the development of the nervous system is also possible with respiratory, sensory, motor, autonomic and other disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system. In addition, COVID-19 can worsen the course of already existing neurological diseases, therefore, this article provides basic recommendations for the management of certain groups of patients with nervous diseases. Given the earlier epidemics of other coronavirus infections, neurologists most often face cognitive and psycho-emotional disorders and other pathologies in the subsequent period. Therefore, it is important to choose the appropriate treatment and monitor the development of early and long-term consequences of neurological manifestations and complications of COVID-19 and then evaluate the effectiveness of effective individual rehabilitation programs for patients.

Abstract

Despite the large number of methods of antiparasitic treatment of the cyst cavity, the frequency of complications and relapses remains almost at the same level. The comparative analysis was carried out taking into account the study of the results of the immediate period, the long-term period and the assessment of the quality of life after various types of echinococcectomy. When analyzing the average duration of the operation and the duration of the hospital period, it was noted that in the main group, the duration of the operation on average corresponded to 120.8 minutes, and in the comparison group-104.2 minutes. The proposed tactical aspects of surgical treatment of EP, taking into account the peculiarities of physical and chemical treatment of the residual cavity and the extended use of its elimination by complete or partial suturing, including large or complicated cysts, reduced the need for drainage of the residual cavity from 63.8% to 36.6%.

Abstract

The dynamics of the composition and proportions of soil invertebrates helps to think about the direction of the processes of soil formation and the disturbance of the environmental regime. A large number of important results have been obtained in this direction. Information was collected on the system of zoological indication of the age of primitive soils, stages of decomposition of organic residues in composts, elementary soil processes, stages of community formation in industrial waste, stages of wood decomposition, levels of soil degradation in recreational areas, pollution with oil products.

Abstract

The work was carried out at the clinical base of the Bukhara State Medical Institute - and at the regional multidisciplinary clinical hospital. Analyzed data of examination and treatment of 75 patients from 18 to 60 years old, with ENT pathology against the background of HIV infection for the period from 2020-2021. Also examined were 30 non-HIV-infected patients of the same age and sex. All patients underwent a comprehensive examination, including otorhinolaryngological, clinical laboratory, bacteriological, and immunological studies. HIV-infected patients are characterized by frequent exacerbations of ENT diseases, in which 78.8% of patients were hospitalized due to the severity of the disease, and 21.2% of patients were treated in an outpatient setting. Severe and complicated forms of ENT disease occurred at a high frequency against the background of HIV infection, accounting for 23%. Of the complications that developed against the background of HIV infection, 13.4% were meningitis, 7.7% were brain abscesses, 1.9% were severe sepsis, and 9.6% were fatal.
