Abstract

This study aims to analyze the design of a preventive guidance and counseling program in efforts to reduce students’ academic anxiety. Academic anxiety is one of the psychological problems frequently experienced by students and has the potential to hinder academic achievement, learning motivation, and emotional well-being. A preventive approach in guidance and counseling services is considered strategic because it focuses on preventing problems from emerging before they develop into more complex disorders. This research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with guidance and counseling teachers, observations of service activities, and documentation studies of program planning. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data display, and thematic conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that an effective preventive guidance and counseling program design to reduce academic anxiety includes components such as students’ needs assessment, formulation of measurable objectives, development of service materials based on coping skills and stress management, collaborative implementation strategies involving subject teachers and parents, and continuous evaluation. The approaches applied in the program include classroom guidance services, group counseling, and emotional regulation skills training. These findings emphasize that a systematic, contextual, and needs-based program design can serve as an effective preventive strategy in minimizing academic anxiety and supporting the optimal academic and personal development of students.

Abstract

Character education is a central objective of Indonesian national education, particularly in strengthening students’ religious values. This study analyzes the implementation of the “Festival Anak Sholeh” as a strategic approach to improving the quality of character education in elementary schools and madrasahs. The research employed a qualitative descriptive design through community-based educational activities held at Baituttaqwa Mosque. Participants consisted of 40 children from early childhood education and elementary levels. Data were collected through participatory observation, documentation, informal interviews, and team reflection, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. Findings indicate that competitive-educative activities such as adhan competitions, daily prayer memorization, and mosque coloring effectively enhanced students’ religious participation, self-confidence, and internalization of Islamic values. The mosque functioned not only as a place of worship but also as a community-based character education center. The study concludes that Festival Anak Sholeh represents a replicable model for strengthening character education quality in elementary schools and madrasahs through experiential and participatory strategies.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in strengthening the national economy, particularly in creating employment and reducing poverty. However, many MSMEs still face challenges in legal protection, access to financing, and sustainable business practices. This community service program aims to strengthen MSMEs through the application of Sharia Economic Law principles to create fair, ethical, and sustainable businesses. The program was implemented through socialization, mentoring, and training on sharia-based contracts, halal business management, and Islamic financial literacy. The results show an increased understanding among MSME actors regarding sharia contracts (akad), halal business practices, and ethical trade principles such as justice, transparency, and mutual benefit. This program contributes to building legally aware MSMEs that are not only economically productive but also socially responsible and sustainable.

Abstract

Improving operational efficiency is a major challenge for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) amidst business competition and limited resources. Process innovation is often viewed as an internal mechanism capable of increasing efficiency, but previous empirical findings show inconsistent results. This study aims to analyze the effect of process innovation on MSME operational efficiency and examine the role of supply chain integration as a moderating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through a survey of 80 MSMEs in Bandar Lampung City and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results show that process innovation has a positive and significant effect on operational efficiency. Supply chain integration also has a significant positive effect on operational efficiency. Furthermore, the results of the moderation analysis confirm that supply chain integration significantly weakens the relationship between process innovation and operational efficiency. These findings indicate that the effectiveness of process innovation in improving MSME operational efficiency is highly dependent on the level of supply chain integration. This study makes an empirical contribution to the operations management and supply chain management literature by emphasizing the importance of synergy between internal capabilities and external integration in improving the operational performance of MSMEs in the context of developing countries.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the Briguna Digital Information System in improving credit efficiency at the Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Sriwijaya Branch. The rapid advancement of information technology has driven the banking industry to adopt digital systems to enhance operational effectiveness, data accuracy, and service quality. The main issue addressed in this research is the inefficiency of manual credit processes, which previously required long processing times and caused high administrative workloads. The purpose of this research is to determine how the implementation of Briguna Digital contributes to enhancing the efficiency of Briguna credit services in terms of processing speed, data accuracy, employee performance, and customer satisfaction. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method, using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results show that Briguna Digital significantly reduced the average credit processing time from 5–7 working days to 2–3 days, decreased data entry errors by 41%, and improved customer satisfaction by 35%. The system also increased employee productivity by minimizing manual verification and paperwork through integrated digital processing. Despite these improvements, challenges remain, including limited digital literacy among senior employees and occasional network instability. Overall, Briguna Digital supports BRI’s digital transformation strategy by creating a more efficient, transparent, and technology-driven banking service model that aligns with the national goal of strengthening financial inclusion through digital innovation.

Abstract

This study examines how regional online media construct the legitimacy of female political leadership in a decentralized democracy. Focusing on the early months of Sherly Tjoanda’s tenure as the first female Governor of North Maluku, the research investigates whether media framing remains confined to symbolic gender representation or evolves toward technocratic authority. Using a qualitative framing analysis based on Pan and Kosicki’s structural model, this study analyzes four news articles published by Nuansamalut.com during the first three months following the governor’s inauguration (February–May 2025). The analysis examines syntactic, script, thematic, and rhetorical structures to identify patterns of meaning construction and longitudinal shifts in framing. The findings reveal a sequential transformation of media framing. The initial coverage emphasizes symbolic breakthrough and gender milestone narratives. Subsequent reporting shifts toward managerial rationality (100-day programs), executive performance (hospital upgrading initiatives), and moral-administrative governance (budget accountability enforcement). Rather than maintaining a gendered emotional frame, the media progressively constructs technocratic legitimacy. This indicates that regional media in decentralized contexts can function as agents of legitimacy consolidation rather than perpetuators of gender stereotypes. This study introduces the concept of sequential framing of legitimacy, highlighting the temporal evolution of media framing from symbolic to rational-legal authority. By situating the analysis at the subnational level, the research expands gendered political framing literature beyond national election campaigns and Western contexts. The findings contribute to communication and political legitimacy scholarship by demonstrating how media discourse mediates the transformation of symbolic representation into technocratic governance authority in emerging democracies.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Village Fund utilization for physical and non-physical infrastructure development in Enarotali Village, East Paniai District, Paniai Regency, and to uncover the influencing factors in order to strengthen transparent and accountable village financial governance. The research approach used is qualitative with analytical descriptive method, where data is collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with key informants such as the Village Head and community leaders, and documentation of the 2023-2025 Village Budget realization report. The results of the study indicate that the use of Village Funds in Enarotali Village in the implementation of physical and non-physical infrastructure development is classified as effective due to the continuity of well-planned work programs. Quantitatively, the realization of the 2023-2025 physical budget ranges from 70% to 73% (Rp477 million - Rp548 million) which is focused on road construction to Mount Pogei tourist area and drainage maintenance. Meanwhile, the realization of the non-physical budget ranged from 10% to 11% (Rp63 million – Rp82 million) allocated for technical guidance on village tourism development, entrepreneurship training, and strengthening the capacity of BUMDes. This effectiveness is supported by four main indicators: the achievement of welfare-oriented goals, thorough planning through the Musrenbangdes forum, the preparation of appropriate programs in accordance with Law Number 6 of 2014, and a monitoring system involving the community and district auditors. Despite challenges such as geographical constraints and delays in disbursement of funds from the local government, which often only arrived at the end of the year, the village government was able to maintain synchronization between the development of physical infrastructure and improving the quality of human resources. This success proves that good coordination between participatory planning and strict monitoring is the main key to minimizing budget irregularities while ensuring maximum benefits for the community in remote areas of Enarotali Village.

Abstract

This study analyzes the strategies for accelerating digital administrative transformation to achieve public service agility at RSUD dr. Mohammad Zyn, Sampang Regency. In the era of technological disruption, shifting from conventional bureaucracy to progressive digital governance is essential to eliminate bureaucratic hurdles such as long queues and unclear medical schedules. The research focuses on evaluating how digital leadership and digital inclusivity transform the hospital into a more agile, responsive, and humanistic organization. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were gathered through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies involving informants from management to service users. The findings indicate that the success of digital transformation is heavily determined by digital leadership's capacity to mitigate internal resistance. Leaders act as catalysts by transforming employee appreciation into support through re-skilling, psychological incentives, and debureaucratization that simplifies data input procedures. Furthermore, organizational agility improves when technology is positioned as a tool to refocus medical personnel on patient care rather than administrative burdens. Externally, the study highlights the importance of digital inclusivity in bridging the digital divide within the local community, addressing systemic barriers such as linguistic hurdles for agrarian populations, lack of accessibility for people with disabilities, and logistical challenges in rural areas. Ultimately, healthcare service agility at RSUD dr. Mohammad Zyn is achieved through a holistic approach that synchronizes technological sophistication with human resource readiness and inclusive design standards. Digitalization serves not merely as a physical modernization but as a primary driver for creating sustainable public value for all citizens.

Abstract

This study explores the quality of primary healthcare services in the coastal area of Sampang, Madura, focusing on both patients' and healthcare providers' perspectives. The unique geographical, social, and cultural characteristics of the region present considerable challenges that impact service delivery. Key issues identified include limited accessibility due to geographic distance and inadequate transportation infrastructure, shortages of trained and competent health personnel, and insufficient medical facilities and logistical support. These factors contribute to delays in service provision, lower service quality, and decreased patient satisfaction. Additionally, communication barriers stemming from language differences and cultural diversity hinder effective interactions between healthcare providers and the community, affecting trust and adherence to medical advice. The strain on healthcare workers, who often face high workloads and limited professional development opportunities, further exacerbates service gaps. From the patient's viewpoint, barriers such as difficult access, unclear medical information, and cultural misalignment diminish perceived service quality and health outcomes. Meanwhile, healthcare providers struggle with resource constraints and logistical difficulties, especially under adverse weather conditions and challenging terrains. The study underscores the importance of a holistic, culturally sensitive approach to enhancing healthcare delivery in remote coastal regions. Recommendations include strengthening infrastructure, increasing workforce capacity, fostering culturally appropriate communication, and improving logistical systems. Policies should prioritize integrated strategies that address geographic, social, and resource-related barriers to ensure equitable and high-quality primary healthcare services for coastal communities. Overall, addressing these multifaceted challenges is essential for improving health outcomes and achieving universal health coverage in underserved coastal areas.
