Abstract

This paper aims to describe the factors that lead to neglect of children, as well as the impact experienced by children who are neglected. This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis. Subjects were children who had been neglected by the age category 10 to 18 years old and their parents or family.From the analysis of the research findings, it was shown that the triggers that lead to neglected children is a parental divorce and mistreatment received by children, as well as family economics and low parental education. The impact of divorce and abuse experienced by children led to the rights and needs of children are not even fulfilled properly and optimally. This situation eventually encourage children to do activities outside the home to become hawkers, washerman grave, domestic workers and motorcycle taxi drivers. By carrying out an activity or activities outside the home that takes time and effort, they do not have time to go to school.

Abstract

This study aims to know the understanding Journalistic Code of Ethics by the journalist on Seram Post Daily in conduct his profession. Based on the researched problems, then here the author uses content analysis technique, as a research technique. The content analysis examines the contents of media and the problems found in the study to seek the truth.The results of this study are: understanding the ethics does not guarantee a journalist will always behave ethically, but the study of ethics is an ability that can be done every journalist so that the application can create a consistent ethical stance. The code of conduct is one of the important requirements that must be owned by journalists seeking to plunge spaciousness and make the news, but knowledge of Seram Post Daily reporter to Journalistic Code of Ethics is very less.

Abstract

This paper will discuss the research findings of a Balinese Dance Therapy model as a new interventionstrategy. This model uses Balinese traditional dance as an intervention method. The study was conducted inBali. It involved one participant who experienced sexual violence: husband as the actor and the wife as thevictim. The research uses a qualitative study method. As the result of this study, the writer found thatthrough this therapy model, the interaction between the husband and the wife can be re-harmonized, as theybuild a better and meaningful life. As the conclusions, Balinese dance movements involved in the package ofdance therapy model can be used as a therapy for the purposes of: (1) Rebuilding human relations in the“disturbed” family to regain the harmonious family life; (2) Achieving a self balancing family for a betterlife.

Abstract

Competency of intercultural communication is very important, especially in Indonesia which consists of diverse ethnicities, races, and religions. Frequently conflicts between ethnics, races, and religions took place.This study described problem how is competency of intercultural communication from Catholic Church Santo Servatius at Kampung Sawah, Jati Melati, Bekasi City to build relationship between Catholic congregation and local community, what is competency of intercultural communication should be done by Catholic Church Santo Servatius Kampung Sawah Bekasi and how to build a communication intercultural pattern by Catholic Church Servatius Kampung Sawah Kota Bekasi. The goal is to know about competency of intercultural communication and to determine the pattern of communication intercultural by Catholic Church Santo Servatius Kampung Sawah. The theory associated with this research is communication intercultural theory and symbolic interaction. The subject of this study is congregation of Catholic Church Santo Servatius Kampung Sawah Bekasi. The subject used a qualitatif research with a case study. Data collection technique is using observation, deeply interview and documentation.The fact results was found in the field is competency of intercultural communication of Dewan Paroki Catholic Church of Santo Servatius Kampung Sawah to build relations between the congregation in church and local communities Kampung Sawah through a cultural approach and developing cultural wisdom Kampung Sawah with inculturation culture of Kampung Sawah Betawi, and how to build communication with others religions and ethnics with actively. So the congregation in church and the local community can living together in harmony and peace situation. Intercultural communication through local cultural approach is very effective in creating harmony between religions.

Abstract

Understanding the scope of work of Marketing Public Relations (MPR) and Corporate Public Relations (CPR) is important, because if the public relations or marketing practitioners do not understand the scope of their work, performance or results of their work becomes less than the maximum. It impacts on the efficiency and effectiveness of the company itself. Overlapping of work, wastage of time and the cost eventually the company will lose money, and it is not possible the company could go out of business. Overlapping of work, wastage of time and the cost eventually make losses of the company and it is not likely the company could shut downIt is necessary for the correct knowledge and understanding of the tasks and the work of each, both as MPR and CPR, so that both are mutually supportive, complementary and fill each other's deficiencies.
