Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar antosianin pada daun Miana (Coleus scutellarioides (L.) Benth). Sampel daun miana diambil di Kabupaten Toraja Utara, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Tahapan penelitian meliputi, determinasi tanaman, preparasi sampel, ekstraksi, identifikasi senyawa menggunakan uji fitokimia, kromatografi lapis tipis dan kromatografi gas-spektrometri massa dan analisis kadar antosianin menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Adapun kadar antosianin ekstrak aquadest dan etanol daun miana berwarna variasi merah dan hijau jenis Coleus scutellarioides (L.) Benth yaitu 220.43 mg/L dan 218,76 mg/L sedangkan kadar antosianin ekstrak aquadest dan etanol daun miana berwarna ungu jenis Coleus scutellarioides (L.) Benth yaitu 146,95 mg/L dan 151,63 mg/L.Kata kunci : Daun Miana, Antosianin ABSTRACTThis research is an experimental study that aims to determine anthocyanin levels in the leaves of Miana (Coleus scutellarioides (L.) Benth). Miana leaf samples were taken in North Toraja Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The stages of the research included plant determination, sample preparation, extraction, identification of compounds using phytochemical tests, thin layer chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and analysis of anthocyanin levels using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The anthocyanin levels of the aquadest and ethanol extracts of miana leaves were colored in variations of red and green for the species Coleus scutellarioides (L.) Benth, namely 220.43 mg/L and 218.76 mg/L while the anthocyanin levels for the aquadest and ethanol extracts of miana leaves were purple for the Coleus scutellarioides (L) Benth, namely 146.95 mg/L and 151.63 mg/L.Keywords : Miana leaves, Anthocyanin

Abstract

ABSTRAKJamur lapuk putih diketahui mampu menurunkan konsentrasi beberapa zat pewarna tekstil. Penurunan konsentrasi ini dapat berjalan secara enzimatik maupun adsorpsi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kondisi optimum penurunan konsentrasi pewarna Azo Direct oleh jamur lapuk putih (Trametes versicolor). Sampel yang digunakan adalah Azo Direct 5 ppm dan 30 mg jamur kering. Ppenentuan kondisi optimum meliputi waktu kontak, pH, dan suhu. Penurunan konsentrasi diukur menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Diperoleh kondisi optimum penurunan konsentrasi pada waktu kontak 100 menit, pH 3 dan suhu 50°C dengan efisiensi 66%.Kata kunci : kondisi optimum adsorpsi, zat pewarna, Azo Direct, Trametes versicolor, waktu, pH, suhu. ABSTRACTWhite rot fungi is able to decrease the concentration of some textile dyes. Decreased concentration can occur enzymatically or adsorption. This research was conducted to determine the optimum conditions for the decreased concentration of Azo Direct dye by white rot fungi (Trametes versicolor). This research carried out in several stages, determination of the maximum wavelength, manufacture of standard curves and determination of optimum conditions, include contact time, pH and temperature. Decrease concentration was measured by UV-Vis spectrophotometer. Azo Direct dye 5 ppm and 30 mg of dried white rot fungi are the sample used. Obtained optimum conditions decrease at 100 minutes contact time, pH 3 and at 50°C with 66% efficiency.KeywordS : adsorption optimum conditions, dye, Azo Direct, Trametes versicolor, contact time, pH, temperature.
