Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven the transformation of physical education (PJOK) learning from conventional approaches to more interactive and contextual learning. However, the use of digital learning media in PJOK still faces various challenges, both in terms of the media's suitability to students' needs and the readiness of the learning ecosystem. This article aims to analyze the need for digital learning media in physical education based on a literature review of previous research results. The method used is a literature review by examining national and international journal articles relevant to the topics of digital learning media, physical education, and physical literacy. The results of the study indicate that digital learning media is needed to support the visualization of movement techniques, increase learning motivation, and strengthen students' physical literacy. The most frequently recommended forms of media include learning videos, fitness training applications, and multimedia-based interactive media. The main obstacles identified in the literature include limited access to technology, educators' digital competencies, and the minimal integration of digital media into the PJOK curriculum. This study is expected to serve as a conceptual basis for the development of relevant and contextual digital learning media in physical education.
