Balance: Jurnal Ekonomi
Balance: Jurnal Ekonomi has p-ISSN 1858-2192 and e-ISSN 2686-5467 published by the Development Economics Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar, this journal publishes research articles in the field of Economics. This journal publishes research studies that use various qualitative and/or quantitative methods and approaches in the field of Economics. This journal aims to develop concepts, theories, perspectives, paradigms, and methodologies in the scope of Economics published twice a year, namely June and December. The scope of Balance: Journal of Economics covers Economics and Development, Economic Behavior, Islamic Economic System, International Economy as well as applied sciences of Statistical Economics, Macro and Micro. Article submissions are made using the Balance: Jurnal Ekonomi template accompanied by supporting documents in the form of: a statement of authorship, ethics, and a copyright statement, which can be downloaded on the main page of the Balance: Jurnal Ekonomi website. Balance: Jurnal Ekonomi has been single-reviewed by peer reviewers. The decision to accept or not accept scientific articles in this journal is the right of the Editorial Board based on recommendations from peer reviewers.

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine perceptions of flour spices brand Sajiku at grocery store ( case study at Nisa store ) .Type of research used in research is case study research with qualitative descriptive approach. Data obtained through questionnaires, interviews, observations and documentation. Samples in this study were obtained by accidental sampling technique that is 30 people. Data obtained from respondents tabulated then analyzed with Likert Scale. Based on the result of research from the questionnaire filling by respondents it can be concluded that the majority of respondents gave answers category Strongly Agree about Sajiku spice flour. This proves that Sajiku brand seasoning flour is well received by consumers.]]>

<![CDATA[Motivation will encourage the emergence of sharp competition between individuals, groups, society and society at the organizational level to between countries. Motivation can be seen as a change of energy in a person that is characterized by the feeling and preceded by a response to the purpose. Every motivation given by an organization must have a different impact. One of the impacts that occur is the impact on the performance of employees or employees. The government must understand the motivation given to each employee to maintain and increase employee loyalty. This study uses qualitative and quantitative data using several population techniques and samples. The research was conducted at the office of the revenue agency of the Majene district. The results of the Motivation study did not have a significant effect on Employee Performance in the Regional Revenue Agency of Majene Regency.]]>

<![CDATA[The Effect of Teacher Education and Work Discipline on Teacher Performance of Majene 2 Senior High School. This study aims to determine whether Education has an effect on Teacher Performance in Majene 2 High School and to determine whether Work discipline influences Teacher Performance in Majene 2 Senior High School. The type of research data used is quantitative data using data analysis techniques. Data collection methods are used with questionnaire, interview and documentation techniques. This research was conducted for three months from January to March 2019. The results showed that there was no significant effect of education on the performance of the teachers of Majene 2 High School and there was a significant effect of work discipline on the performance of Majene 2 High School teachers.]]>

<![CDATA[PT. Iswanto Makassar Is a company engaged in general trading and agents, except travel. This study aims to determine the Application of Internal Control of Cigarette Inventory at PT. Iswanto is in accordance with the Accounting Information System. The valuation method applied by PT. Iswanto Makassar, namely the FIFO (First In First Out) method and the LIFO Method (Last In First Out). While the data collection techniques carried out in this study are Observation, Interview and Documentation Study and the method used to analyze the data obtained is to use Qualitative Methods. Based on the results of the study, it can be stated that the internal control of inventory in the company is in accordance with the Accounting Information System.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to analyze the valuation of collateral in working capital loans at PT. Mandiri Rural Credit Bank. The analysis of the data used in this discussion is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis, which is an analysis that describes or describes the assessment of collateral for the granting of working capital loans at PT. Sulawesi Mandiri Rural Credit Bank and use analysis of market value and liquidation value to find out what valuation is used by PT. Sulawesi Rural Credit Bank Mandiri in assessing debtor guarantees. Based on the results of the research and discussion in the previous chapter, the authors can conclude that the assessment of collateral for the provision of working capital loans at PT. The Mandiri Sulawesi Rural Credit Bank is in accordance with the current system, namely the value of liquidation. which is where the value of liquidation is the most objective and safe value used by the bank.]]>

<![CDATA[This research paper aims to determine the mechanism of billing and payment of land and building taxes at Badan Pendapatan Daerah, considering that the earth tax and buildings have been transferred to local taxes and newly operated in early 2015. This research used the qualitative descriptive method that is the type of research used by the research to describe the results of observation data obtained. The results showed that the mechanism of billing and payment of land and building tax begins with the issuance of Tax Return Notification (SPPT). The taxpayer may obtain the Notice of Withholding Tax to the service of the integrated unit or tax collector of the land and building and then pay the tax payable. Payment can be made through POS office, or via online through Automated Teller Machine (ATM) or Bank which has been appointed by City Revenue Board of Makassar.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of working capital turnover and limited profitability turnover on textile and garment sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data collection uses secondary data using saturated sample techniques (census). The population is all textile and garment sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2012-2015 period of 12 companies, while the sample taken for the number of observations in this study for 3 years, the number of observations of this study was 12 x 3 years = 36 samples . The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, F test, t test and test coefficient of determination (R²) which was carried out using the SPSS version 20. The results showed that the proposed hypothesis was accepted because it showed positive and significant hypothesis test results. This means that working capital turnover has a positive and significant effect on profitability, Inventory turnover has a positive and significant effect on profitability, and working capital turnover and inventory turnover simultaneouslypositive and significant effect on profitability.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find out how the effect of Product Quality on LG TV Purchase Decisions at the Sikapaiya Shop in Majene Regency, how the effect of Price on LG TV Purchase Decisions at Sikapaiya Shop in Majene Regency and which variables are more dominant influence on LG TV Purchase Decisions at Sikapaiya Shop Majene Regency. The type of research used is quantitative and qualitative with data collection techniques using library studies, observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is qualitative data analysis, the concept of qualitative data analysis is an activity that includes validation test data, reliability test, partial test (t test). The results showed that 1) Product Quality had a significant effect on LG TV Purchase Decisions at Sikapaiya Shop in Majene Regency. 2) Price has no significant effect on LG TV Purchase Decisions at Sikapaiya Shop, Majene Regency. 3) Product Quality has more significant effect on LG TV Purchase Decisions at Sikapaiya Shop in Majene Regency.]]>

<![CDATA[Muhammad Amir, 2018. Effect of Product Quality on Customer Loyalty Toyota Parts at PT. Hadji Kalla Branch Soppeng, guided by Kapriani and Yamin Sucipto. This study aims to determine the effect of product quality on customer loyalty in purchasing genuine Toyota parts at PT. Hadji Kalla Soppeng Branch. This study used 53 samples. The analytical method used in this study is deskritif analysis and statistical analysis through simple regression, determination, correlation, and t test. The results of research at PT. Hadji Kalla Toyota Soppeng Branch. Based on the results of the equation Y = 2.63 + 0.96X, correlation analysis (r) = 0.76, correlation coefficient (r2) = 0.58 and hopetesis testing t-count = 8.350> t-table = 1.67528. That there is a significant influence between product quality on customer loyalty at PT. Toyota Hadji Kalla Soppeng Branch.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of partially or simultaneously the size of the company and business risk on the capital structure of the Automotive Industry Company Registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data collection uses secondary data using purposive sampling technique. The population in this study were all automotive industry companies as many as 17 companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange for the period 2014-2016, while the samples taken were the number of observations for 3 years (2014-2016). The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that all hypotheses had a positive and significant effect based on t test and F test. This means that both partially and simultaneously the size of the company and business risk had a positive and significant effect on the capital structure of the Automotive Industry Company Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.]]>
