Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of a web-based employee performance appraisal system at PT. Cinta Food, focusing on effectiveness, consistency, and administrative efficiency. The research employed a case study design with a descriptive quantitative approach, supported by system testing using the blackbox method. Findings reveal that the implementation of the web-based system reduced the performance appraisal process from 14 days to 4 days, achieving a 71.43% efficiency gain. The consistency rate between appraisers increased from 78% to 95%, indicating a significant reduction in subjective bias. Additionally, the administrative workload in the HRD division decreased by up to 60% due to automated archiving and integration of attendance data with performance targets. The system’s audit trail feature enhanced transparency and simplified dispute resolution. These results align with previous studies highlighting the benefits of digitizing performance appraisals to improve accuracy and speed. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for other organizations aiming to optimize performance evaluation systems through information technology.

Abstract

The development of digitalization has led to the massive use of cloud services such as Google Drive, but its performance is greatly influenced by network speed. In Indonesia, the average internet speed still lags behind other countries in ASEAN, so a quantitative analysis of its impact on application performance is needed. This study aims to measure the relationship between network speed variations and the performance of web-based Google Drive through four indicators: upload time, download time, latency, and throughput. The method used is a quantitative experiment with a between-subjects design, testing five speed levels (5, 10, 25, 50, 100 Mbps) on three file sizes (10 MB, 100 MB, 500 MB), each repeated 30 times in a controlled environment using a network emulator. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, post-hoc Tukey tests, and linear regression. Results showed that network speed significantly influenced all indicators (p < 0.001), with R² values ranging from 0.87 to 0.96. Increasing speed up to 25 Mbps resulted in significant performance improvements, but beyond this point, a diminishing return phenomenon occurred. Practically, each 1 Mbps increase reduced upload time by 0.075 seconds, download time by 0.068 seconds, latency by 0.215 ms, and increased throughput by 0.019 MB/s.

Abstract

Advances in information and communication technology have brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including the tourism sector. Bukit Cinta Tourist Attraction in Semarang Regency is one of the tourist destinations that continues to strive to improve its services to visitors. One of these efforts is to implement a web-based and Android payment gateway system. This study aims to design and develop a payment gateway system that can facilitate digital payment transactions for visitors to the Bukit Cinta Tourist Attraction. The system is designed to integrate various payment methods, such as bank transfers and digital wallets, thereby simplifying the process of paying for entrance tickets and various services at the tourist site. The research method used is the agile method, which includes planning, design, development, and testing phases. The results of the black-box testing indicate that the application interface functions well as planned. In the stress test, it was found that higher network speed availability improves application performance, and overall, the system can handle request loads effectively. It is hoped that the results of this research will contribute positively to Bukit Cinta Tourist Attraction in Semarang Regency by enabling ticket purchases to be made anywhere and generating accurate transaction data

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis performa baterai lithium-ion berdasarkan NREL Battery Lifetime Dataset yang memuat hasil pengujian pada berbagai kondisi operasional. Metode penelitian meliputi pembersihan data, analisis hubungan kapasitas terhadap jumlah siklus, visualisasi tren degradasi, serta pemodelan prediksi umur pakai menggunakan regresi linier. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa metode pengisian pulse current memiliki laju degradasi lebih rendah dibandingkan metode constant current–constant voltage (CC-CV), dengan perbedaan kapasitas akhir mencapai 7% pada siklus ke-1000. Analisis parameter sebelum dan sesudah 500 siklus memperlihatkan penurunan kapasitas dan State of Health masing-masing sebesar 18%, peningkatan resistansi internal sebesar 22,2%, waktu pengisian lebih lama 13,3%, serta penurunan efisiensi energi sebesar 7,4%. Model regresi menghasilkan nilai R-squared sebesar 0,991 dan p-value < 0,001, menandakan hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara jumlah siklus dan kapasitas. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pemilihan metode pengisian yang tepat, pemantauan parameter secara real-time, dan manajemen baterai berbasis data untuk memperpanjang umur pakai serta meningkatkan keandalan sistem penyimpanan energi.

Abstract

Global CO₂ emissions exceeding 30 billion tons annually significantly contribute to global warming, including in natural gas, biogas, and landfill gas streams containing CH₄. High CO₂ content lowers CH₄’s calorific value, requiring efficient separation technology. Gas membranes offer an energy-efficient, low-cost, and simple alternative to conventional methods. This study reviews advancements in CO₂/CH₄ separation membranes, focusing on material innovations and performance. A systematic literature review was conducted following PRISMA guidelines, covering international publications (2010–2025) with relevant keywords. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively by membrane type, material, separation mechanism, and performance parameters such as permeability (PCO₂) and CO₂/CH₄ selectivity. Results show a publication surge after 2015, driven by developments in high-free-volume polymers (PIMs), carbon molecular sieves (CMS), zeolite-based inorganic membranes, mixed-matrix membranes (MMMs), and 2D materials like graphene and MOFs. Some materials exceeded the Robeson limit, achieving PCO₂ in the tens of thousands of Barrer with selectivity >100. Remaining challenges include plasticization, long-term stability, production costs, and scalability.

Abstract

The construction sector significantly contributes to global energy consumption and carbon emissions, necessitating integrated strategies that combine operational efficiency and environmental sustainability. This study develops a conceptual Lean–Green integration model for construction projects in Manokwari through a Systematic Literature Review following the PRISMA protocol. The analysis synthesizes empirical findings published between 2018 and 2026 to examine the causal relationships between Lean Construction practices and Green Building performance indicators. The results indicate that Lean–Green integration potentially reduces material waste by 15–35%, decreases project costs by 10–20%, and improves operational energy efficiency by up to 30%. The proposed input–process–output framework identifies managerial commitment, workforce capability, regulatory support, and digital technology integration as critical determinants of successful implementation. The discussion highlights organizational culture, risk management, supply chain integration, and BIM-based digitalization as strategic enablers in peripheral regions with logistical constraints.
