Abstract

Sharia financial literacy plays a crucial role in increasing access to financing for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Madura. This study aims to analyze the influence of public literacy regarding Sharia financing on the growth of MSMEs, focusing on understanding sharia concepts and the factors that support or hinder MSME access to the Sharia-based financial system. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review method to analyze how Sharia financial literacy influences access to Sharia financing for MSMEs in Madura. This approach was chosen because the research focuses on an in-depth understanding of social phenomena. Data were collected from various scientific sources such as journals, academic books, and research reports. The literature reviewed includes the concept of Islamic financial literacy, as well as an analysis of the gap in access to Islamic finance in terms of understanding, service availability, and ease of access, as well as public trust in Islamic financial institutions. This research is intended for the government and Islamic financial institutions to improve education and outreach programs to expand the use of Islamic financing for MSMEs. Thus, it is hoped that MSMEs in Madura can develop more optimally and effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the consumption behavior of Muslim university students from the perspective of Islamic economics, with a focus on how core sharia principles such as halal consumption, balance (wasathiyah), and the avoidance of extravagance (israf) are implemented in their daily lives. In today's academic environment, student consumption patterns have shifted from being needs-based to being heavily influenced by lifestyle trends and external pressures, including social media and peer expectations. This shift presents a significant challenge in aligning real-life consumption practices with Islamic ethical values. Using a qualitative approach, this research collects data through in-depth interviews with Muslim students from diverse economic backgrounds. The analysis explores how students perceive and interpret Islamic economic principles and how these values influence (or fail to influence) their consumption decisions. The findings reveal that although many students possess a basic understanding of Islamic consumption ethics, their actual behavior is still shaped by consumerist culture, limited sharia economic literacy, and socio-economic pressures. Self-control and financial awareness are often compromised, especially in the face of modern-day temptations and inadequate institutional guidance. Therefore, the study recommends strengthening Islamic economic education in a more practical and contextual manner within university settings. Such education should not only enhance theoretical understanding but also encourage ethical and responsible decision-making in financial and consumption matters. By integrating Islamic values into everyday economic choices, students can become not only academically capable but also morally grounded individuals in navigating the challenges of modern consumer culture

Abstract

Theology and logic are two branches of science that have a central role in the development of theological reasoning in the Islamic tradition. Theology focuses on the discussion of Islamic faith and beliefs using rational arguments to strengthen and maintain faith, while logic is the science of logic that regulates correct and systematic ways of thinking in order to produce valid conclusions. The synthesis between logic and theology is very relevant in the context of the development of the thinking of the millennial generation of Muslims who live in the digital and globalization era, where intellectual and social challenges are increasingly complex. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach to examine how the principles of logic (logic) are applied in theology in order to build critical, rational, and adaptive theological reasoning to the dynamics of the times. This study examines the existence of logic as a basis for thinking, the implications of bayani, burhani, and irfani reasoning in Islamic science, and the role of theology in facing contemporary theological challenges. The results of the study show that the synthesis of logic and theology not only strengthens faith rationally, but also equips the millennial generation of Muslims with critical and dialogical thinking skills that are able to answer religious and social problems scientifically. Therefore, strengthening theological education based on logic is a strategic need in building the theological reasoning of the millennial generation that is relevant and constructive in facing the industrial revolution and current global challenges.

Abstract

Quarter Life Crisis (QLC) is a phase of crisis commonly experienced by people in their 20s, characterized by confusion about the direction of life, anxiety about the future, and pressure to fulfill how QLC affects the character of adolescents, especially students of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a case study approach. The results of this study show that students experiencing QLC tend to exhibit symptoms such as indecision, decreased self-confidence, emotional pressure, and negative self-assessment. On the other hand, QLC can also encourage students to engage in deep self-reflection and spur the development of a more mature character. Internal factors such as the search for self-identity and external factors such as social and academic pressure are the main triggers for the emergence of QLC. This research emphasizes the importance of social support and spiritual approaches as preventive and solution-oriented measures in addressing QLC, as well as the need for character development in adolescents to enable them to navigate the transition toward adulthood in a healthier and more adaptive manner.

Abstract

Interfaith dialogue is a process of communication and exchange between individuals or groups representing different religions or spiritual traditions. Interfaith dialogue aims to foster understanding and build relationships between people of different faiths, promoting peaceful coexistence and mutual respect. There are and were numerous academicians from the intellectual history of Muslims who have contributed to this field. One such example is Bediuzzaman Said Nursi (1878-1960), a prominent Turkish scholar and theologian on interfaith dialogue. Nursi’s thoughts on interfaith dialogue are rooted in his deep commitment to peaceful co-existence and mutual respect among people of different faiths. Nursi believed that interfaith dialogue is essential in promoting understanding and cooperation between different religions, and it can help to build bridges between communities that have historically been divided. Against this backdrop, this paper examines his ideas on the importance of dialogue, the role of religion in fostering understanding, and the potential benefits of interfaith dialogue for both individuals and societies. Drawing on Nursi’s ideas, this research paper concludes that Muslim-Christian dialogue can benefit from a renewed emphasis on the shared values and principles that underlie both traditions, such as the importance of social justice, compassion, and ethical behaviour.
