Abstract

Increasing complexity of student psychological and behavioral issues in school environments necessitates highly competent counselors capable of delivering effective interventions. Counselor training programs are designed to enhance professional competencies, yet empirical evidence regarding their direct impact on intervention quality remains limited. This study aims to examine the effect of counselor training programs on the quality of interventions in schools. A quantitative quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest and control group comparison was employed. Data were collected from school counselors using standardized intervention quality scales, competency assessments, and structured observation instruments. Statistical analysis was conducted using paired and independent sample t-tests. Results indicate significant improvements in intervention effectiveness, counselor competency, student behavioral outcomes, response time efficiency, and ethical compliance after training implementation (p < 0.01). Trained counselors demonstrated higher performance compared to untrained counterparts across all measured indicators. The findings confirm that structured training programs substantially enhance the quality of school counseling interventions. The study concludes that counselor professional development is a critical determinant of effective school-based mental health services and should be systematically integrated into educational policy and practice frameworks.

Abstract

Increasing global food demand, climate change, environmental degradation, and the growing prevalence of biotic and abiotic stresses have intensified the need for innovative crop improvement strategies capable of enhancing agricultural productivity and resilience. Recombinant DNA technology has emerged as a fundamental tool in agricultural biotechnology, enabling precise genetic modification to develop crop varieties with improved agronomic performance, stress tolerance, and nutritional quality. This study aimed to examine the contribution of recombinant DNA technology to future crop development by evaluating its effectiveness in enhancing productivity, physiological adaptation, and sustainable agricultural performance. A mixed-methods sequential explanatory design was employed, integrating quantitative evidence obtained from molecular analyses, physiological measurements, agronomic evaluations, and multi-location field experiments with qualitative data collected through expert interviews, field observations, and policy document analysis. Findings demonstrated that recombinant DNA-derived crop lines significantly improved grain yield, biomass production, drought tolerance, salinity tolerance, pest resistance, disease resistance, nutrient-use efficiency, and grain protein content compared with conventionally bred cultivars. Qualitative evidence further indicated that successful implementation depended on the integration of molecular innovation, biosafety governance, interdisciplinary collaboration, and sustainable agricultural management. Results suggest that recombinant DNA technology functions as a comprehensive platform for developing climate-resilient and resource-efficient crop varieties rather than merely introducing isolated genetic traits. Integrated implementation supported by responsible governance provides a sustainable pathway toward future crop development, global food security, and environmentally resilient agricultural systems.

Abstract

Sustainable agriculture is increasingly essential for addressing climate change, resource degradation, biodiversity loss, food insecurity, and rural economic vulnerability. This study assessed the long-term viability of sustainable agricultural practices by examining interactions among environmental quality, economic performance, and social sustainability across diverse farming systems. A mixed-methods sequential explanatory design involved 240 farms from twenty-four agricultural communities representing conventional, conservation, agroforestry, organic, and climate-smart systems. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, multivariate analysis, structural equation modeling, hierarchical regression, mediation, and moderation analyses, while qualitative data from interviews, stakeholder discussions, field observations, and policy documents were examined thematically. Results showed that sustainable practices significantly improved soil health, biodiversity conservation, water-use efficiency, crop productivity, farm profitability, household food security, and community resilience. Soil health was the strongest predictor of productivity, biodiversity conservation enhanced ecosystem resilience, and institutional support strengthened adoption through knowledge exchange and collaborative governance. The findings indicate that long-term agricultural sustainability depends on integrating environmental stewardship, economic resilience, and social participation rather than focusing solely on productivity. The proposed framework provides practical guidance for policymakers, extension services, and rural communities seeking resilient, inclusive, and environmentally responsible food systems. These insights support evidence-based strategies for sustainable agricultural transformation across varied contexts.
