Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of product quality offered through the Tokopedia application on consumer purchasing decisions. The method used is descriptive statistical analysis and linear regression testing with a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 110 respondents from active Tokopedia users, whose data was collected through an online survey. The research results show that product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The average product quality score of respondents was 4.16, which shows consumer satisfaction with the products available. Factors such as durability, noise, and conformity to specifications are important indicators for exuding product quality. This research also shows that the features in the Tokopedia application help improve consumer perceptions of product quality. Therefore, in order for Tokopedia to remain competitive in the e-commerce market, its main focus is developing application functionality and improving product quality

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality on purchasing decisions on the Shopee application. With the increasing use of e-commerce platforms, understanding the factors that influence consumer satisfaction and decisions is very important. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. The study population consisted of Shopee users who had made purchases, with a sample of 300 respondents taken through a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of questions about product quality, reviews, prices, and purchasing decisions. Data analysis was carried out using multiple regression to test the relationship between independent and dependent variables. The results showed that product quality had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, with a T-statistics value of 6.154. In addition, the promotion variable also contributed significantly to purchasing decisions. These findings indicate that improving product quality can increase consumer purchasing interest and purchasing decisions on Shopee. This study suggests that Shopee focus on improving product quality and promotional strategies to attract more customers and increase user satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze data security in popular chat applications using network forensics methods. This method enables the collection and analysis of data from networks to detect and understand potential threats or security breaches. In this research, several chat applications are analyzed to identify vulnerabilities that unauthorized parties could exploit. The results of this study are expected to provide a better understanding of the steps that can be taken to enhance data security in chat applications.

Abstract

Digitalization is the main pillar of change in various aspects of life, including education and social interaction. Balai Diklat Keagamaan Palembang has adopted digital transformation through the development of eL TV, a digital learning platform. This research aims to analyze the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) on the eL TV website of the Palembang Religious Education and Training Center from an anthropological perspective using the Design Thinking method. This approach integrates aspects of culture, habits, and user behavior to create socially and contextually relevant designs. The research stages include Empathize through observations and interviews to understand user needs, Define to identify key problems, Ideate to generate creative solutions, Prototype to build an initial design that is responsive to local values, and Test to measure the effectiveness of the new design. This research concludes that an anthropological approach to UI/UX design through the Design Thinking method can increase user relevance and satisfaction with the eL TV website, while encouraging the use of technology that is more inclusive and oriented to the needs of local communities.

Abstract

The e-guestbook application is an application used to record and process guest data arriving at an institution. The quality of the e-guestbook application system needs to be measured to determine the level of quality and user satisfaction with the application. This study aims to analyze the quality measurement of the e-guestbook application using the Six Sigma method at the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office. The Six Sigma method was chosen because it can identify and measure Critical to Quality (CTQ), thereby improving the quality of the application. The research results show that the sigma value of the e-guestbook application is 4.16, which means the quality of the application is very good. However, there are several aspects that need improvement, namely the ease of use of the application, the accuracy of the information, and the availability of application features. The recommended improvements are enhancing the user interface, validating input data, and adding a report printing feature. The application of the Six Sigma method has proven effective in measuring and improving the quality of the e-guestbook application at the High Prosecutor's Office of South Sumatra

Abstract

Startups in Indonesia are growing very quickly which has an impact on the economy in Indonesia. High public enthusiasm is proven by Indonesia being one of the 5 countries with the highest number of startups in the world. There are several startups with good financial valuations that can be said to be unicoms or even decacorns. In this process, capital cannot be separated from the strategies taken by the Company. One alternative funding is to carry out an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). Until 2022, the startup that has carried out an IPO is PT. Goto Gojek Tokopedia conducted a Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threats (SWOT) analysis on the two companies to analyze the company's business strategy model. Method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method and a data collection process by conducting literature studies from accredited scientific publication and digital news sources.

Abstract

Students reading interest is a crucial factor in enhancing the quality of education. However, the lack of structured data makes it challenging to identify specific patterns of reading interest. This study aims to implement a data mining method using the Naive Bayes algorithm to analyze students' reading interest at SMP Negeri 2 Palembang's library. The data used includes book borrowing history, types of books, and library visit frequency over one semester. The analysis results indicate that the Naive Bayes method achieves an accuracy rate of 80% in classifying reading interest based on predetermined categories. These findings are expected to assist the school in designing more effective literacy programs.

Abstract

This study analyzes demographic data from regencies/cities in Central Kalimantan Province, including population, population growth rate, population percentage, population density per km², and sex ratio. The results of the analysis show significant differences between regencies/cities, with population growth rates ranging from 0.98% to 1.97% per year. The highest population density was recorded in East Barito, while Lamandau had the lowest density. The sex ratio tends to show a male dominance, with Lamandau having the highest ratio. These findings provide an overview of the challenges and opportunities in development planning, as well as the need to design policies that are in accordance with the demographic characteristics of each region. A deeper understanding of this data is expected to support more effective policies in population management and development in Central Kalimantan.

Abstract

Due to the variety of types of flowers that exist and having and tracking each variety, making plant lovers and cultivators difficult to distinguish in determining the type of flower, it takes a very long time to find out the type of flower if you only rely on the five senses. With the application of the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm and feature extraction of color and texture, it is very helpful in image processing to identify flowers more easily and shorten the time, with the greatest accuracy of 71% using the K-7 value, the flower was successfully carried out.

Abstract

This study explores the application of machine learning algorithms, specifically Linear Regression and Decision Tree Regressor, for predicting student academic performance using academic grade data from Kaggle. The analyzed factors include attendance, assignment grades, midterm exam grades, and final exam grades. The research methodology encompasses data collection, preprocessing, model development, training, and validation. This study contributes to the field of educational data analytics by demonstrating how machine learning can provide actionable insights into students' learning patterns and academic outcomes. The findings emphasize the effectiveness of Linear Regression for linearly distributed data and Decision Tree Regressor for capturing complex, non-linear relationships. The implications of this research suggest that machine learning models can assist educators in identifying key factors influencing student performance, enabling targeted interventions to enhance learning outcomes. Future research should explore larger, more diverse datasets and incorporate ensemble methods, such as Random Forest or Gradient Boosting, to improve model generalization and prediction accuracy. Additionally, integrating socio-economic and psychological factors could provide a more holistic perspective on academic achievement.
