Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of discounts and free shipping on purchasing decisions. The population used in this research is undergraduate management and tourism undergraduate majors, economics and business faculty, Dharma Andalas University. This research used 109 respondents, using the Roasoft formula as a sampling technique. Hypothesis testing in this research uses statistical analysis consisting of validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, t test, F test (hypothesis test) and multiple determination coefficient (R2) using SPSS (Statistics Product and Service Solution) software version 25. Research data comes from primary data and is taken by distributing questionnaires. The results of this research show that discounts have a significant influence on purchasing decisions, while free shipping has a significant influence on purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, all variables, namely Discounts and Free Shipping, have a significant influence on Student Purchasing Decisions (S1 Management and S1 Tourism Studies, Faculty of Economics and Business, Dharma Andalas University).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of social media, price and lifestyle on purchasing decisions for fast fashion products, a case study of students majoring in management at Dharma Andalas University. The population in this study was students majoring in management at Dharma Andalas University, totaling 518 people by collecting samples using the sample size calculator feature via the website www.raosoft.com so that the sample was 110 people. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires and then processed and tested using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) v21. From the research conducted, it is known that based on the results of hypothesis testing, it shows 1). Media has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, 2). Price has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, 3). Lifestyle has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, 4). Social media, price and lifestyle have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. Furthermore, the purchasing decision variable (Y) is influenced by social media, price and lifestyle at 68.5%, while the remaining 31.5% is influenced by other variables that are not in this research.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the optimism of banking credit growth in Indonesia amid global economic uncertainty affecting credit demand and distribution. The method used is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach, which examines various literature, official reports from Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), as well as current statistical data and economic articles. The research results show that although credit growth in 2025 experienced a slowdown with an annual rate of 8.88% in April 2025, the investment sector and the productive sector remained the main drivers of credit growth. Accommodative monetary policies, such as lowering the benchmark interest rate and strengthening macroprudential policies, provide significant support for credit distribution. In addition, coordination between financial authorities also helps maintain the stability of the national financial system. In conclusion, despite the challenges posed by the uncertain global economic conditions, strong domestic economic fundamentals and appropriate policies are the main factors underlying the optimism for Indonesia's banking credit growth in 2025.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of social media marketing and electronic word of mouth (E- WOM) on the purchasing decisions of House of Smith Padang products, with brand image as an intervening variable. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 120 respondents who have experience purchasing House of Smith products. The analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares (PLS) to assess the direct and indirect relationships between the variables. The research results show that social media marketing has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, and Electronic Word of Mouth has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Social media marketing and Electronic Word of Mouth have a positive and significant impact on brand image. brand image has a positive but not significant effect on purchase decisions. Brand image does not have a mediating effect between Social Media Marketing and Electronic Word of Mouth on Purchase Decisions.

This article discusses how the application of economic concepts in education can foster entrepreneurial interest and skills among students. This research utilizes a literature review method from various relevant sources on the relationship between education, economics, and entrepreneurship. The analysis shows that integrating entrepreneurship materials into the curriculum, business soft skills training, and school ecosystem support can foster student creativity, innovation, and independence. An understanding of economic values and resource management is also crucial for creating business opportunities from an early age. Thus, economics education serves not only as a medium for imparting knowledge but also as a means of empowering students to contribute to economic development through entrepreneurship

Abstract

Studi ini membahas peran akuntansi Syariah dalam mendukung keberlanjutan bisus perusahaan berbasis Syariah dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dan perubahan masyarakat yang cepat. Akuntansi Syariah didasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip keadilan, transparen, Jarangan riba, gharar dan maysir dan menyediakan solusi yang stis dan berkelanjutan untuk pengelolaan keuangan bisnis Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian literatur dan interpretatif untuk menyelidiki penerapan akuntansi Syariah, yang berfokus tidak hanya pada profitabilitas tetapi juga pada kontribusi, sosial dan kepatuhan terhadap nilai-nilai Islam   Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akuntansi Syariah berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kredibilitas perusahaan melalui pelaporan keuangan yang bertanggung jawab dan kepatuhan terhadap standar seperti PSAK Syariah, 101. Pendekatan ini mempromosikan transparansi, efisiensi dan manajemen risiko berbasis Syariah, mendukung stabilitas, dan keberlanjutan operasional. Selain itu, penerapan akuntansi syariah memfasilitasi kontribusi sosial melalui zakat, wakaf, dan kegiatan amal lainnya yang bertujuan untuk kebaikan bersama   Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya harmonisasi pendekatan deduktif dan induktif dalam mengembangkan teori akuntansi avariah dan menciptakan praktik yang lebih aplikatif dan tepat, Akuntansi syariah, jika diterapkan dengan benar dan didukung melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan, dapat menjadi katalis pertumbuhan ekonomi bagi bamis bezbasia syariah dan mencapai keseimbangan antara tujuan sekuler dan spiritual dalam membangun perekonomian yang berkelanjutan
