Abstract

Kebanyakan penduduk cenderung meningkat dan ketersediaan lahan semakin berkurang setiap tahun akibat migrasi. Upaya peningkatan kualitas penduduk akan lebih sulit dilakukan di daerah dengan kepadatan tinggi, sehingga dapat menimbulkan masalah baik di bidang sosial ekonomi, ketersediaan lahan, maupun kebutuhan pangan. Oleh karena itu, perlu diketahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepadatan penduduk. Salah satu pendekatan untuk memprediksi pola hubungan antara faktor dan kepadatan penduduk, dapat menggunakan regresi Poisson. Regresi Poisson merupakan salah satu regresi nonlinier yang sering digunakan untuk memodelkan variabel dalam bentuk bilangan bulat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik penduduk setiap provinsi di Indonesia,mengestimasi parameter model regresi Poisson dan menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap masalah kepadatan penduduk. Faktor-faktor yang diduga berpengaruh terhadap kepadatan penduduk adalah jumlah penduduk, luas wilayah, jumlah SD, jumlah SMP, jumlah SMA, jumlah puskesmas, jumlah koperasi dan jumlah kematian. . Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model regresi Poisson digeneralisasikan , bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepadatan penduduk setiap provinsi di Indonesia pada tingkat kepadatan penduduk (Y) dan jumlah penduduk  mempunyai hubungan yang searah, artinya setiap pertambahan satu penduduk maka pertambahan penduduk bertambah sebesar 9,7 %, sedangkan luas wilayah mempunyai hubungan kebalikan sebesar 0,0136%, artinya semakin sempit satu satuan luas, maka tingkat kepadatan penduduk bertambah sebesar 0,0136%.

Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO 2012) states that ISPA is the main disease that causes death in infants and occupies the first position in the number of illnesses in baby’s. Based on data from the South Kalimantan Provincial Health Office, Hulu Sungai Selatan District is the region with the highest infant mortality rate due to ISPA out of 13 districts/cities in South Kalimantan. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the incidence of ISPA in Hulu Sungai Selatan District using binary logistic regression analysis. Based on the results of binary logistic regression testing, it is known that nutritional status affects the incidence of ISPA in baby’s. Meanwhile, age, sex, immunization status and baby's weight at birth had no effect on the incidence of ISPA in baby’s in Hulu Sungai Selatan District. Therefore, there is a need for counseling for parents who have baby’s regarding protection from exposure to ISPA, especially for toddlers who are at risk of getting ARI, such as baby’s under one year old.Keywords: ISPA Incidence, Nutritional Status, Binary Logistic Regression

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of patient satisfaction with hospital services on the decision to move BPJS patient care classes at Ulin Hospital, Banjarmasin. The data collection technique used is quantitative, namely distributing questionnaires to BPJS patients. Participants in this study amounted to 75 people. Data analysis used ordinal logistic regression analysis. The level of patient satisfaction is measured using 4 factors, namely Tangible, Reliability, Assurance, and Empathy. The results showed that the patient satisfaction factors that had a significant effect were Assurance and Empathy. Overall, these two variables influenced the satisfaction assessment of patients treated at Ulin Hospital, Banjarmasin, by 27.5%.

Abstract

COVID-19 is a virus that can be transmitted to everyone caused by the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The World Health Organization (WHO) has officially declared COVID-19 a pandemic because the spread of this virus is very fast. The COVID-19 pandemic itself has been going on for more than 2 years and has had a real impact on the people of Indonesia. The three main impacts that are felt by the community are social interaction between communities, community economic activities and people's lifestyles. This study aims to find out and understand social interaction between communities, community economic activities and the lifestyle of the people in Hatungun Village during the post-COVID-19 pandemic. Data collection techniques used in this study using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis itself uses qualitative descriptive statistics. The results obtained state that there are no obstacles in social interaction between communities during the post-COVID-19 pandemic, in economic activity there are constraints that are still being felt today as a result of the paralysis of various sectors, especially in the economic sector which causes the price of basic commodities to increase while income decreases and spending online there is nothing to change a person's lifestyle if the person is wise in reacting to it.Keywords:    Social Society, COVID-19 Pandemic, Tapin District.

Abstract

The purpose of a region to carry out development is to realize prosperity. In measuring a welfare is the coverage of APBD funds such as Local Own Revenue and others that can be influenced. The analysis that can be used in research is multivariate regression. The purpose of the research is to find out what factors affect welfare in South Kalimantan in 2018-2020. Based on the analysis, the multivariate regression model has two factors that are thought to influence PAD and PDRB, namely personnel spending and special allocation funds with modeling   with goodness-of-fit testing it can be explained that the relationship between variables is 76.51%. Keywords: Welfare. Abstract

The environmental quality index is an indicator of environmental quality in Indonesia. EQI shows an increasing trend from 2018 to 2022, although Indonesia's environmental quality is ranked 116 out of 180 countries in the world. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics of the EQI and the factors that can affect EQI, estimate the parameters of the ridge regression model and test the significance of the ridge regression model parameters to overcome the multicollinearity problem in the EQI case. This study uses 4 independent variables, namely population density, traffic, waste, and sanitation in Indonesia in 2021 as secondary data. In this study, ridge regression analysis is used because there is an almost linear relationship between the factors that are thought to affect the EQI. Ridge Regression is a technique that imposes limits (penalties) on parameter estimates in the regression model so that a reduction in the estimated coefficient value can overcome the multicollinearity problem. The results show that the optimal lambda value is 4.737078 when using the 5-fold cross-validation method. Variables that partially affect EQI are population density, waste, and environmental sanitation. The independent variables in this study that can explain the variability of EQI in Indonesia in 2021 is 59.52%, while 40.48% is explained by other variables that are not included in the model. Indonesia's EQI score in 2021 is 71.45 with the predicate "Good". Keywords:   Environmental Quality Index, Ridge Regression, Cross Validation.

Abstract

Rainfall is the climate element that is most closely related to supporting the life processes of Indonesian people such as agricultural production, plantations, fisheries, and aviation. In 2014-2016, Indonesia experienced a drought due to a global climate anomaly called the El Nino phenomenon, where annual rainfall at that time tended to decrease from other years. While in 2020-2022, rainfall in Indonesia tends to increase from other years, this event is called the La Nina phenomenon. This study aims to describe the rainfall patterns that occur in each phenomenon and analyze the regression model of rainfall panels in Central Kalimantan province with a two-way component approach. Random Effects Model (REM) is the most appropriate model to be used in the phenomenon of La Nina. Fixed Effect Model (FEM) is the most appropriate model to be used in the El Nino phenomenon. Feasible Generalized Least Square is a parameter estimation method that is focused and used to estimate regression parameters in this study. Based on the results of regression analysis of panel data, for the phenomenon of La Nina obtained R2 value of 51.66% and found that the average air temperature variable tested significant. For the El Nino phenomenon, the value of R2 is 75.35% and it is found that there are no significant independent variables tested. Therefore, it can be expected that the increase in average air temperature can decrease the average rainfall value when the La Nina phenomenon occurs in Central Kalimantan province.

Abstract

YouTube is a video-sharing website which is one of the media for deployment information that is of great interest to the public in Indonesia. Being the most visited website in the world, YouTube has had a significant impact on modern society. Many people in Indonesia have utilized YouTube as a platform to share their thoughts and creativity through the video they create, as well as to make income. Creative content will usually get more responses from the audience. Creating a regression model for use in path analysis enables the investigation of causal links between various variables. The intention of this study is to specify the path's structure and analyze what variables effect YouTube video views. The exogenous variables used to observe the influence of views are impressions, CTR and watch time. This study uses path analysis to examine how video performance impacts views both directly and indirectly using path diagrams. Considering the outcomes of this study, the variables that affect views are impressions and CTR. Impressions have an indirect effect on Watch Time and Views but smaller than the direct effect, so the best path to increase views is the direct effect path of impressions. Impressions have a direct effect of 1,214 while CTR has a direct effect on views of 1,077. Keywords:     YouTube, Views, Path Analysis, Direct Effect

Abstract

The Baratama Jesindo Business Limited Liability Company (PT. UBJ) is a company engaged in coal mining and has a mining business license area of 228.25 Ha. Discipline is one of the factors that affect employee performance. Work discipline is a factor that has an important role in achieving good work goals. To get good performance, employees must have high discipline. This study aims to determine the factors that influence employee discipline at PT UBJ using ordinal logistic regression analysis and explain the relationship between the level of employee discipline and factors that are statistically significant. This study uses the ordinal logistic regression method which can be used for ordinal data taken through questionnaires at PT. UBJ. The results of this study simultaneously there is no one variable that has a significant effect. Partially, it shows that the factors that have a significant effect are the Sanctions variable, the Sanctions variable affects employee discipline at PT. UBJ in general is 7%.

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic that occurred from 2019-2021 has had an impact on many sectors, one of which is the education sector. With this pandemic, learning takes place online which is possible for junior high school students is not an effective thing so that it has an impact on the final grades of student learning. This study aims to estimate the parameters of the multiple linear regression model formed in the analysis of the effect of online learning on student achievement at SMPN 33 Banjarmasin during the Covid-19 pandemic, and to explain the factors that significantly influence student achievement at SMPN 33 Banjarmasin during the pandemic. Covid-19. This study uses the independent variables of learning media and teacher teaching methods while the dependent variable uses student achievement. The population of this research is students at SMPN 33 Banjarmasin with a total sample of 120 respondents. Analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence between learning media and teacher teaching methods on student achievement at SMPN 33 Banjarmasin during the Covid-19 pandemic. Other results are shown based on testing the hypothesis that the variable that has the most influence is the teacher's teaching method variable. The teacher's teaching method variable (X2) has the largest relative contribution compared to the learning media variable (X1). Keywords: Online Learning, Learning Achievement, Multiple Linear Regression
