Abstract

The Old City of Semarang is an important part of the Semarang Old Town area, which is also designated as a Cultural Heritage Site. This area features distinctive European architecture that has adapted to the tropical climate of Semarang. This uniqueness gives the Old City buildings different characteristics and styles, depending on the period or year of construction. This study aims to explore and preserve the historical character of the Old City area by preserving supporting architectural elements, such as staircase ornaments and floor patterns. The research method uses descriptive qualitative analysis, by depicting the conditions in the field based on data obtained from observation and research. Overall, the results of this study show that the architectural elements of the supporting buildings in the Old City of Semarang reflect specific styles from different periods. In the 18th century, buildings in this area used the Rococo style. In the late 18th and early 19th centuries, Neo-Classical style was adopted. The early 19th and early 20th centuries saw the use of Neo-Renaissance style, while in the 20th century, the buildings in this area showed influences of modern architecture.

Abstract

According to the WHO, about 2 to 3 million non-melanoma.non-melanoma skin cancers and 132,000 melanoma skin cancers occur globally every year, making up one out of every three cancers.globally each year, and account for one in every three cancers diagnosed.diagnosed. In Indonesia, skin cancer is listed as the cancer with the third highestincidence after uterine cervical and ovarian cancer, and breast cancer.Skin cancer can be detected with dermoscopy. Dermoscopy is a non-invasive diagnostic technique using optical magnification that allows visualization of morphologicHowever, this cannot be done optimally because it still relies on manual analysis so it cannot classify skin cancer types on larger datasets with potential errors and low accuracy. To accurately determine the type of skin cancer,a better classification method is needed. The purpose of this research is to determine the accuracy of skin cancer calcification using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), support vector machine (SVM), K-nearest neighbor (KNN) models. The datasheet used amounted to 2,239 containing skin cancer images with class division 114 actinic keratosis, 376 basal cell carcinoma, 95 dermatofibroma, 438 melanoma, 357 nevus, 462 pigmented benign, 77 seborrheic keratosis, 181 squamos cell, 139 vascular lesion. The results showed that the convolutional neural network (CNN) algorithm model obtained a sensitivity of 92.59%, specificity of 99%, precision of 93%, F1-Score of 93.01%, and accuracy of 98.35%. For the KNN algorithm model, 57.77% sensitivity, 94.53% specificity, 64.25% precision, 55.99% F1-Score, and 90.45% accuracy were obtained. And for the SVM algorithm model, 61% sensitivity, 94.81% specificity, 70.23% precision, 61.26% F1-Score, and 91.17% accuracy were obtained.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explore the application of artificial intelligence (AI) techniques, particularly Machine Learning, in predicting quality of service (QoS) on mobile networks, with the main focus being to test the ability of AI models to predict several QoS parameters, involving several important stages that reflect best practices in the development of artificial intelligence (AI)-based predictive systems for mobile networks. The dataset used in this study consists of data collected from simulations of mobile networks with various load and latency conditions. The parameters measured include Throughput, Latency and Packet Loss. Model evaluation was carried out to measure prediction performance using Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) measurements. The AI models used include machine learning algorithms consisting of K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) for classification and regression on QoS datasets, Support Vector Machine (SVM) to model non-linear relationships between QoS parameters and input variables, and Deep Learning (LSTM=Long Short-Term Memory) used to predict QoS based on time sequence data. This study found that LSTM-based deep learning models have the lowest prediction error rate in estimating packet loss, so they can provide the most accurate results in predicting QoS on mobile networks. This approach is capable of handling data that is sequential and has significant time dependence, making it more suitable for dynamic mobile network applications.

Abstract

Syringe Pump is one of the medical equipment that functions to insert medicinal liquid into patients for a certain period of time regularly. The Syringe Pump cannot function as it should. The damage that occurs to the Syringe Pump is caused by an optocoupler sensor error that causes the optocoupler sensor to not be able to push the syringe and the syringe size sensor that does not detect the size of the syringe due to ineffective use and causes the syringe size sensor to not be able to detect the size of the syringe. Therefore, improvements are needed to the sensor part of this tool so that it can detect the syringe as it functions. The repair of this Syringe Pump is carried out by measuring using a multimeter through a specified measurement point, after the results of the calculation are known, followed by the replacement of the optocoupler sensor, then gluing the broken syringe size sensor with glue, and finally testing the function of the tool with the Infusion Device Analyzer (IDA) tool so that the Syringe Pump is successfully repaired and usable. The value obtained from the measurement after making repairs to TP 1 (optocoupler sensor input) was obtained an error of 0% TP 2 (optocoupler sensor output) of 0.5%. TP 3 (syringe size sensor output) of 0%. The tool used for the function test was IDA (Infusion Device Analyzer) and obtained an average of 9.50 ml/h at the 10 ml/h setting. So it was concluded that the tool was functioning well because it was still within the tolerance limit of 10%. And the result of occlusion was 4.7 ml/h which was still at the tolerance limit.

Abstract

Problems involving mathematical models are commonly found across various scientific disciplines, such as physics, chemistry, biology, economics, and engineering. These mathematical models are used to represent complex real-world phenomena in order to analyze and understand them quantitatively. However, in practice, these models often take the form of complex, nonlinear, or high-dimensional equation systems, which are not easily solved using standard analytical methods or conventional algebraic formulas. To overcome these limitations, numerical methods are employed as an alternative approach. Numerical methods provide solutions to mathematical problems by relying on computational techniques and iterative procedures. One of the key topics within numerical methods is the solution of Simultaneous Linear Equation Systems (SLES), which frequently arise in practical applications such as structural analysis, fluid dynamics, and economic modeling including structural assessment, flow dynamics, and economic forecasting. Solving these systems often requires a large number of iterative calculations, making manual computation inefficient and time-consuming. Therefore, the use of computational software such as MATLAB becomes essential in both learning and applying these methods. MATLAB provides a broad array of functions and numerical tools this significantly support an efficient and accurate solution of linear equation systems. In an educational context, the use of MATLAB not only simplifies the computational process but also aids students in understanding fundamental concepts of numerical methods through visualization, simulation, and digital experimentation. Thus, integrating MATLAB into the learning process of numerical methods greatly enhances teaching and learning effectiveness, while also strengthening students' computational skills in solving real-world scientific and engineering problems.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has significantly transformed governance practices, particularly in enhancing efficiency, transparency, and accountability in public service delivery. One of the critical aspects of civil service management is the promotion of Civil Servants (PNS), which serves as a form of recognition for performance and dedication to the state. Following regulatory changes, especially the enactment of BKN Regulation Number 4 of 2023, the promotion schedule has increased to six times a year, demanding a faster and more accurate verification process. Although the State Civil Apparatus Information Sistem (SIASN) is currently used to support administrative procedures, the verification process for promotion proposals remains manual and limited to specific administrators. Therefore, this study aims to design a Decision Support Sistem (DSS) using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to assist in the objective and sistematic verification of promotion proposals. AHP was chosen for its ability to incorporate both qualitative and quantitative aspects while minimizing subjective bias in decision-making. The proposed DSS considers criteria such as length of service, performance evaluation, educational background, and disciplinary history. This sistem successfully the verification process and supports more transparent and accurate decision-making within the Government of Bojonegoro Regency .
