Abstract

In today's era, the internet is a facility in social life that causes phobias, complete and necessary information is difficult to obtain again. However, how YouTube provides consistently using an algorithm designed for YouTube content recommendations which is an online video media can witness important moments instantly to individuals who are not on television media so that all users can get useful information and entertainment from website media. For some reason Youtube is used as social media with the highest user level from Instagram. Therefore, we make an experiment to categorize the right content to be a crucial factor in producing accurate and meaningful recommendations. In a system analysis, it recommends content on Youtube based on individual categories using the basic concept of the content based filtering algorithm and how it is implemented in the context of YouTube. The model training is carried out using the cosine similarity method which aims to compare the similarity between the contents of these representations. Evaluation of the model can provide insight into how effective the algorithm is in producing relevant recommendations. The steps in the recommendation system analysis are literature study, data collection, model training, and model evaluation by increasing understanding of content-based filtering algorithms.

Abstract

Accurate sales to improve business planning and decision making. This study aims to design an information system that utilizes historical data and multiple linear regression algorithms to predict e-commerce sales. This study addresses the current challenges in forecasting uncertain sales by analyzing historical sales data and identifying relevant independent variables, such as marketing efforts, economic factors, and customer behavior. Through the implementation of a multiple linear regression algorithm, the system calculates the relationship between these variables and sales, enabling accurate predictions. The proposed information system provides valuable insights for businesses to optimize inventory management, marketing strategy and resource allocation. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the system in forecasting e-commerce sales, resulting in increased operational efficiency and revenue. This research contributes to the field of e-commerce analytics and assists businesses in making data-driven decisions for sustainable growth.

Abstract

This research discusses the development of the Fish Go! application, which aims to facilitate fishermen in finding market opportunities, particularly within the business sector. The author identifies several challenges faced by fishermen in terms of marketing and selling their catch. Additionally, there are opportunities to meet the demand for marine products in the tourism sector in Indonesia. The Fish Go! application seeks to integrate fishermen and the business sector into a single digital platform, with the goal of expanding the fishermen's market reach and providing convenience for buyers in obtaining fresh and high-quality seafood. This research involves a literature study to gain a deeper understanding of application interface analysis and usability in general. The User Journey Map method is used to identify the problems faced by potential users of the Fish Go! application. The usability testing phase is conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, involving the distribution of questionnaires to 20 respondents. The quantitative data obtained from the SUS scores indicate that the Fish Go! application has a good level of usability and is suitable for further development, with an average SUS score of 84, exceeding the average threshold for usability testing. The results of this research show that the Fish Go! application has the potential to support partnerships between fishermen and the business sector in utilizing marine resources in Indonesia. By leveraging technology and digital platforms, it is expected to improve efficiency and provide broader market opportunities for fishermen, while also meeting the demand of the business sector for fresh and high-quality seafood.

Abstract

With the increasing importance of data security in digital image transmission and storage, this research presents an implementation of an image encryption and decryption program using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm combined with Message Authentication Code (MAC) for enhanced security. The program utilizes AES in Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) mode to ensure confidentiality and integrity of the image data. The unique key and initialization vector (IV) enhance the security of the encryption process. Additionally, the inclusion of MAC ensures data integrity and prevents unauthorized modifications during transmission or storage. The program offers a user-friendly web-based interface for easy usability. The implemented solution provides a high level of security for image data and can be applied in various applications requiring secure image transmission and storage. The effectiveness and reliability of the program are demonstrated through experimental results and evaluation.

Abstract

Along with population growth and urban development, the demand for clean water is increasing. Water reservoirs are an effective solution to this problem, by storing large amounts of water in specially designed tanks. Water reservoirs are one of the important components in the household water supply system. This study aims to make it easier for users to monitor the condition of the water in the reservoir. The tools used are Arduino uno R3, green LED, yellow LED, red LED, ultrasonic distance sensor, DC motor, piezo, push button, and h-bridge motor driver. This system is designed using the prototype method, so that users can easily see real-time water levels via mobile devices.

Abstract

Compression for data logging in environmental health monitoring is a serious concern. Recording of environmental health history is carried out by monitoring the fluctuations of the physical parameters. The record stored in a warehouse from the logging system will increase over time. So, that’s the reason why compression on time-series data logging is needed. But, the addition of compression algorithm like delta encoding allows for increased latency. Therefore, the performance of write/read of delta encoding must be analyzed. One method to analyze is the Go Benchmark. The test parameter used in this paper is the number of iterations and times per iteration taken from the Go Benchmark’s output. The other test parameter is compression ratio and storage saving taken from the size of data before and after compression. There are 4 tests case used: single data write, single data read, multiple data write, and multiple data read. As the result, single data write/read and multiple data read work optimally in delta compression with the similar test result with baseline. But multiple data write not working optimally with times per iteration 10,254 times higher than baseline.

Abstract

The speed and efficiency of a system currently has a very important role. Currently there are several solutions to answer these challenges, one of which is to separate the database on the system. In this study, an analysis was carried out on the separation of databases on a transactional and analytic system. Analysis is carried out with a research flow that begins with problem identification followed by sampling data on technology companies that have transactional systems, then implementing transactional and analytical programs on microservices architecture, conducting tests with Load-Testing, followed by analysis of test results, and then drawing conclusions. After conducting research in accordance with the research flow, it was concluded that the separation of databases on transactional and analytic systems is better for producing faster system performance compared to transactional and analytic systems using the same database.

Abstract

This article will focus on implementing an orchid plant monitoring system using Arduino in a webbased application. The purpose of this system is to monitor important environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity and soil moisture in real time. By collecting data from orchid plants using sensors, the system enables continuous measurement and analysis of these parameters.Collected data is processed and stored by the Arduino, which acts as the central control unit. A web-based application serves as the user interface, allowing remote access and visualization of monitoring data. Implementation of this system provides a practical solution for improving orchid cultivation through accurate and easily accessible monitoring of key parameters. This allows researchers and hobbyists to closely monitor growing conditions and make informed decisions based on the data collected. By maintaining optimal environmental conditions, the system contributes to improved growth, increased yields and successful cultivation of orchid plants. The combination of an Arduino and a web-based application provides an efficient and easy-to-use solution for orchid plant monitoring and management for better results in your orchid cultivation practice.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology makes the dissemination of information also develop, and the use of digital data is increasingly used even in the health sector, one of which is when registering at health institutions online so that when registering it is necessary to scan the Healthy Indonesia Card to register. Sometimes there are onkuns who are not responsible for misusing it to do evil things, so based on these problems, the Healthy Indonesia Card (KIS) that will be used should be inserted with a watermark to minimize unwanted events. Watermark is a method of inserting information into digital data that aims to protect data ownership. One technique that can be used is the steganography technique, which uses the MSB (Most Significant Bit) algorithm. The length of time it takes to insert a watermark on a Healthy Indonesia Card (KIS) depends on how much text will be inserted to become a watermark.

Abstract

This research centers on the objective of identifying the finest image from a burst shot through the utilization of Root Mean Square (RMS) contrast as a guiding metric. The primary focus lies in selecting the visually captivating image by assessing the contrast levels present in each individual shot. By conducting calculations of the RMS contrast values, the optimal image can be determined. The core purpose of this study is to employ RMS contrast as a reliable criterion for selecting the most outstanding image from a burst shot, thereby guaranteeing the production of high-quality visuals, and aiding in the organization and decluttering of smartphone galleries. This research holds significance in addressing the growing need for efficient and effective image selection methods, ensuring that users can effortlessly identify and showcase the best images captured in burst mode. By embracing the power of RMS contrast analysis, individuals can confidently curate their image collections with exceptional visual content while optimizing limited storage space on their smartphones.
