Abstract

This research is a class action research (class action research). This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kota Pinang with the number of research subjects as many as 43 students consisting of one class. The results of observing student activities have been motivated to carry out the activities contained in the inquiry model learning. Student activity in each cycle increased by 11.51%, in the first cycle 51.16% while in the second cycle 79.06%, it can be concluded that the student's ability has been categorized as high. The application of the inquiry model succeeded in increasing student learning outcomes, it can be seen from the changes in student learning outcomes, in the first cycle the average student was 51.16, while in the second cycle the average value was 79.06. The increase in the average value of students from cycle I to cycle II is 11.51 students who achieve the standard of graduation according to the school's KKM is a value of 70, so it can be concluded, student learning outcomes are declared complete.

Abstract

The research aimed to find out the effect of using fly swatter game as the media in teaching vocabulary. This research was conducted by using experimental method. The experimental method designed were used two classes which were taught two different media. The experiment class was taught with media fly swatter game, and the control class was taught without media fly swatter game. The subject of this research was grade VII of MTs Al-Washliyah Medan Academic Year 2021/2022. The population of students consisted of 160 students; the sample was 50 students (25 students’ experimental class and 25 students’ control class). This research was conducted through the following procedures : giving pre-test, applying treatments, and giving post-test. The test is multiple choices and essay, which consist of 20 items to both of experimental group and control group in pre-test and post-test. The data was analyzed by using T-test formula. The result of the research there was a difference score between students’ score in learning vocabulary by using fly swatter game and without fly swatter game. The mean score of control class, pre-test got 37 and post-test got 56,2 and for the mean score of experimental class, pre-test got 50,8 and post-test got 79,2. The result that found in this research t observed was 15.578 and t table 2.0106. In conclusion, fly swatter game effectively be used to teach vocabulary learning of seven grade students of MTs. Al-Washliyah Medan.

Abstract

Mathematical problem solving ability is one of the abilities that must be possessed by students in solving mathematical problems or problems as well as being possessed by prospective teacher students. So that later students can apply it to students in the field. Based on initial observations by giving tests of mathematical problem solving abilities to students, 26 of 41 students or 46.91% of students scored below 70. Thus, to improve mathematical problem solving skills, the researchers applied a problem based learning model. This research method is Classroom Action Research which consists of 2 cycles. The first cycle discusses flat shapes, and the second cycle discusses spatial shapes. The results of the study in the first cycle of completeness were 73.17% and in the second cycle 87.80%. So that the application of the problem based learning model can improve the mathematical problem solving abilities of semester III-A students of the PGSD Study Program for the 2021-2021 academic year. As for the outputs targeted for the National Certified Journal and National Proceedings and IPR. The results of this study are expected to improve student learning outcomes and students' mathematics learning activities and teachers can apply the numbered head learning model with the help of misyucatung media as a reference for learning models in schools.

Abstract

The school principal as a supervisor must be manifested in the ability of compiling, and implementing educational supervision programs, and utilizing the results. The ability to develop educational supervision programs must be realized in the preparation of class supervision programs, development of supervision programs for extra-curricular activities, development of library, laboratory and examination supervision programs. The aims of this research are as follows: (1) To obtain data and information about the supervision of school principals; (2) To obtain data and information on the professionalism of teachers at Perbaungan Dharma Utama High School; (3) To obtain data and information about the influence of the principal's supervision on teacher professionalism at SMA Dharma Utama Sukasari Perbaungan. The research hypothesis is: "There is an effect of the supervision of the principal on teacher professionalism at Dharma Utama Sukasari Perbaungan High School." This research was conducted at Darma Utama Sukasari Perbaungan High School with a total population of 25 people and a total sample of 25 people (total sample). above, a correlation value of 0.492 is obtained, while a correlation value in the correlation table (for N = 25 and a significant level of 5%) is obtained a value of 0.381. This means that the value of r(count) is 0.492 greater than the value of r(table) in the correlation table namely 0.381. Thus it means that the hypothesis formulated in this study can be accepted for truth, because the value of r(count) > the value of r(table) or 0.492 > 0.381.

Abstract

The vocabulary is very important for every individual to speak skillfully. Therefore, each individual must require a vocabulary for communicating with other individuals. Without language communication can not be done well.In the teaching of writing of schools often we find that students are less capable in terms of mastery of vocabulary will have difficulties in making or completing a writing. This study aims to determine the mastery of vocabulary possessed in writing poetry class X student of SMAN 2 Tanjungbalai Year of Education from 2018-2019. The study population was all students of class X SMAN 6 Tanjungbalai as many as 63 people. Because the number of students who exist in a population of less than 100 people, the samples taken as many as 63 people. The method used in this research is descriptive method.The instrument used was a write Anecdote text. Based on the data processing obtained average value is the ability to write Anecdote text score of 88.65 out of 100. Thus, it can be said that the average value of the ability to write poetry with the mastery of vocabulary can be categorized as very good score range between 85-100. Based on data analysis can be concluded that the mastery of vocabulary in writing has been very good and developing aspects of the theme, diction (word choice), the style of presentation and message / mandate owned by a class X students of SMAN 6 Tanjungbalai Year of Education from 2018 to 2019.
