Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the management of the boarding school program in shaping religious character and discipline at SMA IT Ash-Shiddiiqi. Utilizing a phenomenological approach and qualitative methods, the research collected data from primary and secondary sources through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, with data validity tested using credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The findings indicate that the planning process for the boarding school program involves a forum of discussions among the foundation, educators, madrasah committee, guardians of students, and dormitory managers. Program organization includes structural task assignments. The habituation of religious culture and discipline takes place in both the dormitory and school environments. Program control is carried out through regular evaluations of each activity and monthly assessments with the program managers. Supporting factors for program management include dormitory and classroom facilities, the presence of musyrif/ah accompanying the students, collaboration between parents and teachers, and a strong desire for knowledge. However, there are hindering factors, such as a decline in individual commitment, which is reflected in mischief, boredom, and laziness among students due to the heavy workload. Thus, the management of the boarding school at SMA IT Ash-Shiddiiqi proves effective in fostering students' religious character and discipline, although attention is needed for the existing hindering factors.

Abstract

The practice of online buying and selling in Indonesia is increasingly growing along with advancements in digital technology. However, it is crucial to ensure that these transactions align with Sharia principles, particularly in a predominantly Muslim society. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Sharia principles in online trading practices in Indonesia, focusing on aspects of justice, honesty, and transparency. The research method employed is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through literature reviews and in-depth interviews with Sharia business practitioners and Muslim consumers. The research findings indicate that most e-commerce platforms in Indonesia have adopted Sharia principles, although challenges remain in implementation, particularly regarding misleading advertisements and usurious transactions. The study concludes that strengthening regulations and providing education to consumers and business actors are necessary to ensure compliance with Sharia principles in online transactions. The implications of these findings suggest that the government and relevant institutions need to enhance oversight of online trading practices to prevent violations of Sharia principles. Additionally, e-commerce entrepreneurs are encouraged to provide educational features that help consumers select products and conduct transactions in accordance with Islamic values.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven a major transformation in the business world, particularly through the emergence of marketplaces and e-commerce. This situation creates the need to reexamine the concept of contracts (akad) in Fiqh Muamalah so that they can be applied relevantly in the digital context. This article aims to examine the types of contracts that occur in marketplace and e-commerce practices and their conformity with Sharia principles. The research method used is library research by analyzing classical and contemporary literature on contracts, as well as fatwas from modern Islamic financial institutions. The study's findings show that digital transaction practices can be categorized into several types of contracts, such as bai’ (sale), wakalah (agency), and ju’alah (reward-based service), each of which can be adapted to Islamic legal provisions. By fulfilling the pillars and conditions of the contract and avoiding elements of uncertainty (gharar) and interest (riba), digital transactions in e-commerce can be categorized as valid according to Islamic law

Abstract

Marriage law in Islam is a fundamental component of fiqh al-munakahat that governs the legal and spiritual aspects of the marital relationship. In practice, this body of law undergoes dynamic shifts due to the intersection of religious norms, local traditions, and state regulations. This article aims to examine how Islamic marriage law is understood and applied in contemporary contexts, with particular attention to the roles of tradition and state intervention through legislation. The research employs a literature review method, drawing upon classical Islamic jurisprudence, Indonesian legal statutes, and contemporary academic studies. The findings reveal both tensions and harmonization between fiqh and state regulations, especially concerning issues such as minimum age for marriage, guardianship (wali), and marriage registration. The adaptation of Islamic law to the sociopolitical context of the state emerges as a critical factor in developing a fair and applicable family law system

Abstract

The cooperation contract (akad) in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) plays an important role in boosting the community's economy. From the perspective of Islamic law, cooperation contracts must adhere to Sharia principles such as justice, honesty, and transparency. This study aims to analyze the compliance of cooperation contracts in MSMEs with Islamic law, focusing on contracts such as mudharabah, musyarakah, and wakalah. The research method used is a literature study and normative juridical analysis. The findings show that most cooperation contracts in MSMEs comply with Islamic law principles, although challenges remain in implementation, particularly regarding transparency and profit-sharing. This study provides recommendations to enhance MSME actors' understanding of Sharia contracts to increase business blessings. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of Sharia supervision in ensuring that contracts remain within the framework of Islamic law. It was found that continuous education on Sharia contracts can minimize the risk of non-compliance in business practices. The research also emphasizes the need for local regulatory adaptation to align with Sharia principles. The results are expected to serve as a reference for policymakers in strengthening the Sharia-based legal framework for MSMEs. Finally, this study asserts that the success of Sharia cooperation contracts is measured not only by economic gains but also by social blessings.
