Abstract

The rapid growth and pervasive integration of digital technology in global sectors have significantly increased the vulnerability of organizational data, placing a paramount importance on information security, privacy preservation, and strict legal compliance. This study aims to examine the systemic relationship between these three critical dimensions within modern digital ecosystems, identifying core vulnerabilities and assessing regulatory efficacy. The research employs a qualitative methodology through a systematic literature review of highly credible scientific publications indexed between 2022 and 2024. The empirical findings indicate that weak database encryption architecture, low user cybersecurity awareness, and inconsistent legal enforcement frameworks are the primary socio-technical factors contributing to massive data breaches and proliferating cybercrimes. Furthermore, strict alignment with contemporary data protection regulations plays an indispensable role in safeguarding user privacy and compelling organizations to adopt proactive security posturing. However, a significant enforcement gap remains between comprehensive legal provisions and practical execution capabilities, particularly within public institutions and small-scale business sectors. This study highlights the urgent need for integrated, triple-helix collaborative strategies that combine technological innovations, comprehensive institutional policy frameworks, and continuous user awareness education to build a secure, resilient, and trusted digital ecosystem.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has rapidly evolved into one of the most influential technologies of the twenty-first century, transforming human activities across economic, social, political, and security domains while simultaneously raising increasingly complex ethical concerns regarding human existence. This study aims to critically examine the ethical implications of AI by focusing on three interconnected domains automation, autonomous weapons, and superintelligence and to identify ethical principles capable of supporting responsible AI governance. A Critical Literature Review (CLR) was employed to synthesize peer-reviewed journal articles, conference proceedings, and internationally recognized policy documents retrieved from major academic databases and global organizations, including Scopus, IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, ACM Digital Library, UNESCO, OECD, the European Commission, and the International Committee of the Red Cross. The findings reveal that although AI substantially enhances productivity, innovation, and decision-making capabilities, it also introduces significant ethical challenges, including workforce transformation, accountability gaps in autonomous military operations, diminished human autonomy in AI-assisted decision-making, and long-term existential risks associated with highly autonomous intelligent systems. The synthesis further demonstrates that current ethical approaches remain fragmented because they frequently address these issues independently rather than as interconnected dimensions of AI development. This study concludes that a Human-Centered Ethical Governance Framework, grounded in the principles of human dignity, human autonomy, transparency, accountability, fairness, and meaningful human oversight, provides a more comprehensive approach for governing AI technologies and ensuring that future AI development remains aligned with fundamental human values while supporting sustainable coexistence between humanity and intelligent machines.

Abstract

The development of information technology has driven the use of web-based applications in various sectors, but this growth has also been accompanied by an increase in cyber security threats, one of which is SQL Injection. SQL Injection is an attack technique that exploits input validation weaknesses in applications to insert malicious SQL commands into the system. This study aims to implement and evaluate a security system against SQL Injection attacks using the Laravel framework. The research method used is an experimental approach, involving the development of a simple Laravel-based CRUD application that is tested before and after the implementation of security features. The security features implemented include Eloquent ORM, parameter binding, input validation using Form Request, authentication, role-based access control, and user activity audit logs. The test results show that all SQL Injection attack attempts, both manual and automated using SQLMap, were successfully blocked by the system. In addition, the application functions optimally without performance issues, proving that the implementation of security does not hinder system operations. In conclusion, Laravel is capable of providing effective protection against SQL Injection when its security features are implemented correctly. This study also recommends strengthening against other types of attacks such as XSS and CSRF, as well as the use of data encryption to enhance overall system security.
