Abstract

Construction project is an activity carried out with a complex development process and requires time that can occur problems and obstacles as well as various risks. One of the risks that can occur is the risk of work accidents that can affect the process of implementing project development. Efforts that can be made to minimize and prevent the occurrence of risks are by carrying out work accident risk management. Risk management carried out in this study is on the At-Taawun building construction project at Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya used is using the FMEA method. The research method used is quantitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques used by conducting observations, interviews, distributing questionnaires and literature studies. The results showed that there are 3 work accident risks that have a high risk value from 14 dominant work accident risks that can occur. 3 risks with the highest RPN value have a value of 36, namely the risk of workers being exposed to concrete splashes during piling, workers' eyes being exposed to fine dust from iron and workers being electrocuted due to an electrical short circuit.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mapping and distribution pattern of the location of foreign language course institutions in Kampung Inggris. This research is a quantitative study and the samples of this study are 133 foreign language course institutions in Kampung Inggris. The data collection technique used was to conduct an observation to find out the coordinates of the course institutions and conduct interviews to find the course institution data and administrative maps of the research sites. The method used is descriptive analysis to create a location distribution map using ArcGis 10.8 software and nearest neighbor analysis to look for its pattern of location distribution by calculating the T value or nearest neighbor distribution index. The calculated T value of 1,476 is a uniform pattern. This value is included in a uniform pattern because it is close to the value of 2.15.

Abstract

The construction project of hospital x in Gresik City requires a reliable fire protection system so that the building can take proactive action against fire risks at an early stage. But in the phenomenon, building fires in Indonesia show that some managers or building owners entrust the initial fire anticipation actions to the Fire Department. Objective To find out how far the application of fire hazard protection listed in Permen PU no.26/PRT/M/2008 and the Reliability Value of the Building Safety System in the x hospital building construction project. This research uses descriptive-quantitative method. Information obtained from systematic observations, library studies and interviews with various parties / experts on fire safety systems. The results of data collection and discussion are analysed or the problems found are answered, after which conclusions and suggestions are given regarding the building fire reliability system. Based on the application of these regulations regarding the fire system which is assessed using a Likert scale on the building at Hospital X, the results of the application of an average of 4.57 Likert scale values with a percentage of 91.4% of the measurement criteria are obtained. This shows that the building has a fire control system that is in accordance with the application. The results of the calculation of the Building Safety Reliability Value indicate 91.6% and is classified in the "GOOD" category level for the assessment of the condition of the fire protection components.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the pattern of distribution of apartment buildings in the city of Surabaya using the Nearest Nighbor Analysis method. The research was conducted using ArcGIS 10.8 software and data on the coordinates of apartment buildings in four Surabaya areas, namely South Surabaya, West Surabaya, Central Surabaya and East Surabaya. The results showed that the distribution pattern of apartment buildings in the South Surabaya area is included in the category of uneven distribution (random), while the West Surabaya area has a cluster pattern of distribution. In Central Surabaya and East Surabaya, the distribution pattern of apartment buildings is categorized as a dispersed pattern. The range of the spread of apartment buildings is also analyzed by considering the accessibility and effective distance for pedestrians. This study provides an overview of the pattern of distribution of apartment buildings in the city of Surabaya and can be used as a reference in planning the development of apartment areas.

Abstract

Construction projects are a sector that is growing very rapidly which are carried out in complex and difficult conditions, on the other hand industrial projects use human and machine power so that they have the potential to increase the risk of work accidents. Risks may have an impact on the productivity, performance, quality, cost of the project. It is said that risk is a result that may occur unexpectedly, this contains uncertainty about what will happen, therefore good risk control is needed from the parties involved. To find, analyze, and assess the risk variables that exist in the project location, research is needed. Identifying, assessing, and analyzing hazards will be used to conduct this research using the House Of Risk method. HOR itself is a type of risk management that is obtained from the needs of risk management itself which focuses on preventive actions and then determines the type of risk that is a priority which will then be given mitigation or countermeasures for this risk. Risk can be controlled by implementing risk management including risk identification, risk analysis and risk mitigation. Identification is the initial stage in risk management, further investigation is carried out which is called risk analysis. The last implementation of risk management is by taking action to deal with the occurrence of the risks that have been analyzed. It can be concluded that risk management is an effort made to avoid, prevent the bad consequences that may occurance.

Abstract

Many things can occur during the execution of a construction project that could increase the time required to complete it and delay it. Delays are caused by a variety of factors, including site-specific conditions, design changes, weather effects, unmet demand for workers, supplies, or equipment, errors in planning or specification, and involvement of the project owner or owner. The Northwest Citraland Shophouse Construction Project is planned to be completed in a period of 248 days with a budget plan cost of Rp 655,404,231.46. Acceleration is needed so that the construction of the project can be completed in accordance with the plan and the implementing contractor does not suffer losses due to project delays. The application of the Time Cost Trade Off method is expected to provide several alternative acceleration options so that the implementation of construction projects is efficient in terms of time and cost. The acceleration alternative in this study uses the acceleration of additional working hours and additional labor on the Northwest Citraland Surabaya Shophouse Construction Project. It aims to determine the comparison of time and cost generated after acceleration using these 2 alternatives. The analysis of time cost trade off results in Alternative 1 obtained an optimal duration of 223.6 days at a cost of Rp 650,010,588.07 with time and cost efficiency of 9.84% and 0.82%, in Alternative 2 obtained an optimal duration of 219. 3 days at a cost of Rp 650,130,175.97 with time and cost efficiency of 11.57% and 0.80%, and in alternative 3 obtained an optimum duration of 213.1 days at a cost of Rp 648,624,342.81 with time and cost efficiency of 14.06% and 1.03%.

Abstract

The development of Indonesian construction has developed quite rapidly which is also balanced by technological developments. The development of technology is useful for construction projects to help plan the calculation of the volume of structural work, one of the software used is Autodesk Revit. The research was conducted on the Bukit Golf cluster house by calculating the volume of structural work on the foundation elements, sloofs, columns, beams, and plates which were then compared with the existing volume. The research method used for volume calculation is using Autodesk Revit software. The results of volume calculations using Autodesk Revit software obtained a total volume of concrete of 380.401 m3, while the total volume of reinforcement obtained was 48520.990 kg. The difference in the calculation of concrete volume using autodesk revit with conventional is 9.84%, while the difference in the calculation of reinforcement volume using autodesk revit with conventional is 19.61%. So that the calculation of the volume of concrete structure work and reinforcement using Autodesk Revit software is more efficient and efficient. The difference in volume calculation occurs due to the volume calculated using autodesk revit software is calculated net once at the meeting between structural elements.

Abstract

Surabaya has been nominated as a city that develops MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Conference, Exhibition). As one of the big cities, the development of hotels in Surabaya is considered quite rapid. The development of hotels in Surabaya needs to be balanced with the provision of information. One of the information needed by business people or business travelers who want to carry out MICE activities at this time is the need for geographic information. Geographic Information System (GIS) has a good ability to visualize spatial data and display various sources of information on 4 and 5 star hotel buildings in Surabaya City. This research also uses the nearest neighbor method analysis to determine the distribution pattern of 4 and 5 star hotels in Surabaya City. The results of the distribution pattern analysis using the nearest neighbor method for 4-star hotel locations are manually calculated at 0.829 and from ArcGIS at 0.956. For the location of 5-star hotels, the manual calculation is 0.748 and from ArcGIS is 0.975. From the two methods, it shows that the distribution pattern of 4 and 5 star hotels in Surabaya City gets the same distribution pattern results, namely random distribution patterns.

Abstract

In daily life, humans always encounter problems about decision making. Decision-making systems can solve problems by providing relevant data information, analytical models, and decision-making tools. The Muhammadiyah Gresik Hospital Construction Project is a multi-storey building construction project that is used as a case study in research conducted on foundation selection. There are several criteria that need to be done in determining foundation selection. The type of research used is applied research by compiling and creating an additional document as a validation of project documents with a decision-making support system obtained through literature studies, discussions and interviews in determining foundation selection. The results showed that there were 10 criteria that emerged from the literature study and there were 13 determination criteria obtained through discussions and interviews in selecting the type of foundation.
